Casey Hawkins at the East Brainerd clinic has been wonderful in addressing immediate injuries, as well as chronic conditions, such as SjogrensSyndrome and arthritis. I’m a diabetic and lots of other health problems that make it hard for me to heal, but she has never wavered from what the goal is. When I get discouraged, she lifts me up by her professional and sweet demeanor. I still have a long way to go, but I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The entire staff are the same way. Fantastic experience: My daughter and myself have both been clients of Jeff Potts over the past 10 years . He had treated my daughter for sports injuries and myself for repetitive motion injuries , Jeff is always great at explaining the injury and the treatment , he always finishes with a list of easy to do exercises at home to keep flexibility and strength . Going for physical therapy is always a positive experience and results are seen quickly . It's a great part of self care .

Fantastic experience: After my delivery, I was in extreme back pain. I had gone to other PT centers but with no luck in declining pain. And my doctor recommended Excel Rehab. Kacey Hawkin worked with me twice a week, primarily on strengthening my core and stretches. Within few weeks I found great change in my pain level. She is one of the best therapists I’ve ever worked with. She listened to my trouble spots and worked to find the source of my pain. Her hands-on approach and skill are excellent. The young PT assistants were helpful in guiding me though the warm-ups and exercises. I got a full hours' worth of treatment at every visit.

Fantastic experience: Jeff is a fountain of knowledge about the body and a compassionate understanding of people. Bottom line: he helps you get better. I have come in with a variety of issues—hip, knee, ankle, foot—and he has done exactly what I needed. That means 1) he listens. 2) he is hands-on. He pinpoints the problem and explains it. 3) He treats: in my case, dry-needling or stretching. 4) He assigns and observes exercises. 5) He sends you home with the exercises on your phone. 6) He follows up. 7) He somehow gives attention to everyone in the facility so that everyone gets the same high-quality care. Best I have ever seen, and I am 63 with a lifetime of sports and Army injuries.

My therapist Katie is extremely kind and knowledgeable with my therapy needs in order to get me to where I need to be after having a total knee replacement. The entire staff is very friendly and the first point of contact, Cody was so helpful with scheduling my appointments. It has only been one week for me there and I have already made such progress. I am excited to see how I will keep progressing to get to my end result. They are amazing to work with and again, so grateful my doctor sent me to them.

Cody, 100% of the time is kind and finds the right appointments that meet my schedule.

Fantastic experience: I've been to several PT providers through many years including those in PA, FL, & TN. I do not remember any other service provider who took plenty of time to ask a bit of my history then discuss a plan to make me comfortable again. Dr. Jeff Potts proceeded to work on that area of my leg and after I completed 4 types of exercises within an hour's time I walked out feeling the pain was reduced by at least 75%! This PT practice is very organized, efficient, and functions like a well trained team.

Fantastic experience: An excellent Rehab facility. Jeff is an excellent PT. He takes the time to explain and listen to all concerns. He helped me with the pain in my shoulder while I was waiting for treatment from my Dr. Brie was very helpful with scheduling and insurance.

It wasn't just a pleasant professional experience but it's obvious these are good people as well. The atmosphere is positive. I look forward to my visits. Fantastic experience: I cannot speak highly enough of Excel Rehab and Sports and, particularly, Jeff Potts. After shoulder surgery, I was seeing another physical therapist at another practice and 4-5 weeks post-op not only was I not progressing, I was actually experiencing new and extreme nerve pain and worsening of symptoms. I was beginning to grow discouraged and afraid that a separate issue had surfaced or been created and was wondering if I’d ever gain use of my dominant arm again. My surgeon recommended that I see Jeff at Excel and my experience has literally been life-changing. Not only have I made a full recovery from shoulder surgery, I have been gradually been increasing my strength and weight training - something I haven’t been able to do in years. I am leaving Excel Rehab not only with a rehabilitated shoulder, but with the confidence to continue exercising using a tailored program that should help my shoulder mobile and keep me heading in a pain-free direction. The office and office support staff are all very friendly and accommodating. After seeing multiple physical therapists over the course of pre-diagnosis and then post-operation, I can confidently say that I wouldn’t recommend another practice besides Excel. He takes the time to listen and evaluate each patient at each visit and tailor their treatment as needed. He was caring and understanding at a very volatile time in my life. Fantastic experience: Ben was great. I went to him after suffering with painful plantar fasciitis for more than 2 years. He was very attentive and knowledgeable. He considered my goals in the care plan, and listened to my ideas and incorporated those into the plan along the way. My feet are much much better after a few months of treatment. My Therapist Jeff Potts is the most personable, kind, and caring individual that love what he does. I knew this was the place for me when my Dr. sent me to him. I really had accepted that I might not ever feel my feet again or walk without excruciating pain. But thanks to Jeff being so kind, patient and determined to work with me I am well on my way.
