“All the therapists were great to work with. Kelli, OT, really motivated me. Lexi, RN reminded me of a family friend. Dr. B (Balouch) is a terrific doctor and so personable. Jon, CEO, is so friendly and he treats everyone like a small business owner would, getting to know each of us (patients).”
“The gym was so spacious and terrific. I could not have asked for anything more. I was so lucky to get into RHNA. I appreciated the community atmosphere and being able to interact with other patients. I got to be friends with many of them. Listening to their stories and sharing mine made it a more enjoyable experience.”
“The staff helped so much. The whole staff is professional and takes the time to talk with me. They have a genuine interest. They don’t just go off of what your chart says. They get to know you. The RNs and PCTs are really good, and Dr. Balouch is so attentive. I appreciate Missy, RN, who watches over me at night. I know when she opens the door in the middle of the night to check on me, and it brings me comfort.”
“Everybody played in role in my recovery, and everybody had their unique way of getting me to do things. The first time walking the full length of the hallways felt so good. Thanks to RHNA, I have been able to get up the stairs to my studio. I have been able to cut mats for a painting and put [the painting] together without any flaws. I so look forward to the day that I can start running again and ride my bike outdoors.”

Rehabilitation Hospital of Northern Arizona: Reviews
Fantastic experience: Excellent care. Staff is professional and building is very clean. Enjoyed my time there .
Fantastic experience: This is one Great Facility, All the staff we're friendly, and we're on top of their game, from the management,to the kitchen staff. From the personal trainers to curtious drivers in transportation, I never felt anything but special. Thanks to their WHOLE STAFF! For a job, at least in my experience..WELL DONE!!.
Fantastic experience: I can't say enough good things about this rehab hospital. Not only was the facility and care excellent, the atmosphere created by staff, from the top down, is relaxed, attentive, warm and open ... quite unusual for any organization. I loved the people, while getting top notch care. I want to mention those outstanding professionals whom I was so fortunate to work most with: Dr. Balouch checked in with me most days (and always if I had a need) and made many important adjustments to my meds and wound care; PT & OT Dave & Rachel, wonderful & skilled & fun to work with, nurses Stacy, Sara, Sarah, Arianna & Jerrika, so caring and attentive; dietician Tanya whose suggestions I have taken home to implement long-term; PCT's Windy and Aubrey, loved your enthusiasm; case manager Sarah who worked her magic to make things come together; the cooks who ordered and prepared special foods so I would get what I needed despite my restrictions; and CEO Jon who is never too busy to give a smile and an ear or a hand. Everyone else, too. I didn't meet one I didn't enjoy. Thank you for a wonderful experience for my healing and my spirit!
Fantastic experience: I have fallen three times in the last 15 months and broken bones each time. I am so thankful that it was suggested that I come to the Rehabilitation Hospital Northern Arizona. Not only do I get 3 1/2 hours of Rehab each day, but they truly live up to their motto of compassionate patient care. Every PT, OT, nurse, tech, and doctor here have been skilled and caring. After two weeks here I’ve gotten stronger, and I have learned so much about how to avoid falls in the future. Priceless information for this 83-year-old woman who wants to resume my active life.
Fantastic experience: My husband suffered a stroke on Feb 1 2023. After a few days in the hospital he was transferred here. During a very stressful time we both felt the absolute care and concern for him. The staff is incredibly caring. We are so grateful for the nurses, aides, therapy staff that helped him and I feel that had SO much of the reason he continued to push hard to get his body to respond and learn about dealing with his paralysis. You ALL were a blessing during a difficult time in our lives. And Lynn at the front desk was so friendly and welcoming with my daily visits. Overall wonderful experience. Thank you!!
