The entire Day Institute staff in Bridgeton is a group of exceptionally professional and extremely compassionate souls who are steadfast at providing a supportive and nurturing environment to accompany each persons' particular healing experience. Physical Therapist Karen, Brenden and Bobbie are remarkably trained specialist who completely and whole heartedly rock the Physical Therapy (P/T) Department. Katy, Maggie and Bonnie's Occupational Therapy skills are highly professional. Each one has a God given talent to enhance the client's ability to cope through such difficult life transitions. The Speech Therapists will help turn challenging words into sky blue songs. All of the therapists apply both conventional and nonconventional skilled methods to bring about optimum results in accordance with each patient's specific needs. This group of therapists display a level of dedication and commitment that far exceeds any norm. For example, Karen's deep interest and concern for my specific condition prompted her to attend a neurologist appointment with me. She decided that going that extra mile allowed her to provide the highest quality of patient care for my rare diagnosis. The entire team at The Day Institute include Rhonda, Freida, Tasha and Rachael who are pleasantly attentive while making sure all patients are safe, secure and comfortable. They start our day. They finish our day. ...and they definitely get us through our day. In addition, the atmosphere invites a spirit of comradery, so encouragement among patients is on going. Of course, what bridges the clients, staff and therapist is (the bridge of) Austin. As Case manager, Austin connect the dots so you are always aware of where you are in your journey. He continues to provide in depth care coordination and is so very easy to talk to. Having a nursing background, I can readily identify with skilled, clinical and holistic evidence based research and practices that best suits a patient's healing experience. So, when it comes to therapy at the SSM Bridgeton Day Institute, I must proclaim "YOU CAN'T TOUCH THIS!" Real talk. Deborah

Fantastic experience: The SSM rehab facility, it's management, it's entire staff, all the way from the many doctors, nurses, numerous rehab technicians, and housekeeping were absolutely incredible as a team of individuals!! I have never seen or heard of such a remarkable level of totally professional care and service in any industry! Every minute of every hour of every day they improved my physical, mental, and emotional health to a level greater than before my horrid accident! Not once did they create any pain or undesirable impact on me. The knowledge and skill they used did wonders for me. I exhibited trust, desire, and good attitude! They performed the magic day in and day out to lead me to my goal. I now feel like I can continue to participate and compete in out Nations Senior Olympics as I have in my 50's, 60s, and 70s! I will never forget what an uplifting, inspiring, and fulfilling experience they unconditionally gave to me!!!
