Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital Fort Smith

Fantastic experience: My experience staying at Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital, Chaffee Crossing, was very positive! Every nurse, pulmonary, physical and occupational therapist who worked with me was so caring and helpful. I know I improved, in a large part, simply from the quick, compassionate care from the CEO down to the dietary and cleaning staff. I highly recommend this beautiful facility!!

Fantastic experience: I would easily give 10 stars if I could! My husband received care following an accident. His nurses and patient care team were all so caring and and delivered excellent care. Jerry made excellent progress with Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapies! Therapy was hard but the therapist made it really enjoyable with their fun and upbeat personalities. The facility is so clean and very up to date with equipment. On beautiful days we did therapy in their outside area! The food is delicious for both patients and guest. The in house dietitian works with the cafeteria making sure patients get their proper nutrients. Upon discharge or case manager arranged follow-up doctor appointments and home health. I can go on and on singing their praises!

Fantastic experience: I can't thank this place and the staff enough. My mom spent almost 6 weeks in the hospital and was transferred to this rehabilitation hospital. Within 2 hours of arriving my mom walked 5 feet which she hadn't done since October 18th. She made leaps and bounds progress here. She had been turned down from other places saying they didn't think she could be rehabbed within 21 days. After spending 13 days here she was able to come home just in time for Christmas. They took excellent care of my mom and was very patient with her. They do require three hours of therapy a day and if you miss a day you do make it up but this staff here was extraordinary. I can't thank them enough. My mom is doing well at home because of them. Thank you so much. My Christmas wish was for my mom to come home and she was able to. The rooms are very spacious with big bathrooms. The facility it clean and doesn't have that "hospital" smell. They even provided extra chairs when my siblings would visit our mom. They let you know what times the therapy is the morning of so if you have errands to run you can do that while your loved one is in therapy since you can't go to the therapy gym with them. The therapy gym is huge and they work with you on daily things such as getting in and out of a car, walking up and down stairs, walking around in a kitchen and more. I definitely highly recommend this place to anyone who needs any in patient physical, occupational, and speech therapy.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Mercy Rehab has been very positive. The employees, Dr's, nursing staff, housekeeping Are all very friendly and kind. I would especially recommend this facility for anyone needing care. Thank you Dr Beallis, Dr Shen all the nursing , the physical therapists, the cleaning staff. Everyone involved in my care Thank you for making my experience so good. I would definitely recommend this facility and staff for all the loving support given me. Fantastic experience: I am very pleased with the Mercy Rehab Hospital. My husband is in the therapy program here. We have been treated with nothing but courtesy and respect here. The therapist are great. They know their jobs and are good at it. The Nurses and aides are very nice. The facility is very nice, clean and comfortable. He has his own room and bathroom which they keep clean ,I would recommend this facility if you need therapy services,
