Rogue is a wellness program for people with Parkinson's Disease located in Orange County, California. Our goal is to help you live your healthiest and most active lives possible!
Hopefully you have heard that exercise can be helpful for people with Parkinson’s disease, but you might not have heard what to do or how to do it, that is what we are here for!
After working out of a local gym for the past few years, we grew to the point we were ready for our own space! We moved into our new location in November and...
We believe that everyone with Parkinson Disease should have continuous access to high quality exercise programs from diagnosis through their entire life.
There is substantial research that indicates that exercise can have a positive benefit on symptoms, quality of life, longevity, and may even be able to slow down the disease progression.
Throughout our 10+ years of experience working with this population, we have seen amazing improvements in how people feel and move. We are motivated to help as many people as possible to participate in this type of exercise.
With exercise what you do and how you do it is important. We are here to help you discover what is right for you, so that you can feel your best and live life to the fullest.

Over the past 10 years working with individuals with Parkinson Disease, I have seen the amazing things that are possible with consistent, challenging, Parkinson-specific exercise. Here is one of my client’s experience:
We have 5 different types of classes ranging from Cardio, to PWR! Moves, Boxing and more!! We have different levels of classes catering to all athletic abilities.
Regular assessments are a cornerstone of the program. The assessments can help us determine when a bout of Physical Therapy is necessary, to set goals and to measure improvement over time!
Some class members attend one class per week (~1 hour ) and exercise on their own the other days. Others attend classes up to 5 days per week (~5+ hours)!
Our main focus at Rogue is to offer a variety of Parkinson's specific exercise classes, to allow for the most access with the least amount of out of pocket expenditure. After enrolling in the first, each additional class can be added at a discounted rate.
We also offer individual wellness exercise sessions. These are ideal for individuals who prefer working with someone 1 on 1 rather then in a class setting. These sessions may also be ideal for those with more physical or cognitive limitations.
Although the classes and individual sessions are taught by a physical therapist (unless noted), this is not physical therapy. The classes and individual wellness are recommended to occur following physical therapy, or in addition to physical therapy.
Physical Therapy can be extremely helpful, but is often limited due to insurance restrictions. Rogue Physical Therapy & Wellness, Inc. was started to allow for continuous access to high quality exercise so that individuals can maximize their function and stay active in between bouts of physical therapy.

Rogue Physical Therapy & Wellness: Reviews
Fantastic experience: Rogue has been a huge benefit to me since I was diagnosed with Parkinson's. I do everything online with them, but nonetheless I feel I have made friends there who care about me and motivate me. I do the exercise classes almost every day. They are suited to my issues and give me a really good workout. I also enjoy the cooking/nutrition class. It makes a great difference in my life to know there are things I can do to stay well despite Parkinson's, and I really credit Rogue with building that mindset in me.
Fantastic experience: I can't say enough good things about Rogue Physical Therapy and Claire McLean! I have been doing the online classes which really help my Parkinson's symptoms, but beyond that, there is a sense of community that is so wonderful. Parkinson's is a very complex disease, and there is research going on all of the time. Claire keeps us informed through zoom sessions. I honestly don't know where I would be if I hadn't have stumbled on this website when I did! I'm really grateful for the resources that are available through Rogue, and also for the friendships that have developed as a result of taking the online classes!
Fantastic experience: Rogue's online workshops and exercise classes are the best out there. I have had Parkinson's disease since 2017. I researched exercise programs and initially signed with a local San Diego program at 3 times the membership cost of Rogue. One day I looked up Claire's name (because she was the teacher) and discovered she had her own program. The Rogue program encompasses so much more. They offer quality speech, exercise, food preparation, support in a complete program which has helped me in my journey. I am so thankful for Rogue.
Fantastic experience: Rogue PT and Wellness is quite a find! The program addresses all aspects of Parkinson's. In-person classes are led by experienced and caring therapists. Their online program covers many, many other issues PD patients experience, and you can even make up classes you may have missed. My husband feels quite fortunate to have found this amazing program.
Fantastic experience: Rogue Physical Therapy Wellness is fabulous! And so much fun. I never thought I would box and dance, while enjoying it so much. The online voice therapy by Stephanie, has improved my breathing, swallowing and speaking. My neurologist is thrilled as I am doing way better now than 5 years ago. There is so much support and encouragement from cheerful staff. Thank you Claire.
