Alpha Project Phyzio & Performance - Frederick

Fantastic experience: I decided to try PT for some knee pain I was having while training for my fourth marathon. Dr. Matt assessed my strength, mobility and running form to find the root cause of the problem, and identify weaknesses impacting my training. I was given a variety of exercises to do in the sessions and at home. After six sessions, the knee pain is gone! I also now have a much better idea of what exercises I should do based on my personal strengths/weaknesses to keep me running injury free.

Fantastic experience: I first saw Dr. Matt at an F45 workshop giving a hip mobility workshop. After just an hour I noticed relief so I signed up for a free consultation session. I had pretty bad neck, back and hip pain. I had done physical therapy in the past, but the exercises only helped with certain parts of my back and the therapist never seems to take too much interest in what my problems were. Dr. Matt always asks me many questions and really takes the time to try to tackle the root of my issues. Now, after 5-6 sessions I notice a large difference in my mobility and flexibility and I have a lot less pain. The exercises really target my problem area and give me lasting results if I keep up with them at home. I would really recommend Alpha Project to anyone that really wants invest time and money into their health and really be free of pain.

Fantastic experience: I’m a distance runner and a coach. I started working with Alpha Project Phyzio when knee pain was impacting everything from running to walking and even sleep and it did not get better with rest. I felt improvement after each session with Matt. He identified errors in my form that I wasn’t aware of and taught me exercises to improve control of the knees. I’ve come out of PT pain free and a better runner.

Fantastic experience: Working with Alpha Project has been amazing. I’ve been active my entire life and currently go to Orange Theory and was training for an Ironman 70.3! After my last marathon October 2022 my body hurt so badly I couldn’t move normally for 3 days. It was early in my training for the Ironman when I met Dr. Matt and told him I need to learn how to run without feeling terrible afterward. First we worked on my running form that needed a lot of work! I went from feeling miserable after a few miles of running to running 6-7 miles no problem AND I was running faster. After that we worked on stiffness, mobility, and strengthening some muscles that were not as strong as they should be! I finished my Ironman 70.3 a week ago and felt great afterwards! I was in the gym sprinting and lifting 2 days later! Highly recommend if you’re looking for physical therapy in Frederick (or farther away) that works with more active people AND will give you the 1 on 1 attention needed to solve your problem.

Fantastic experience: I came to see Matt at the Alpha Project after constant hip pain that was interfering with my goal to get back into running. After a few sessions my hip pain was gone! Matt is highly skilled and I trust his knowledge and expertise. When I go in for a session, Matt focuses only on me. This is different from most PTs. If you’re looking for truly individualized care and attention with actual results then go to Alpha Project! Thank you Matt!
