As soon as an orthopedic surgeon diagnosed me with a frozen shoulder and instructed me to schedule an appointment with a physical therapist for the day AFTER surgery, I made an appointment on my own with Gani Azeez, the therapist who treated me for a previous injury. No promises were made during the assessment but by the end of four weeks of physical therapy it was evident that surgery was no longer necessary.
