Fantastic experience: As a two-time patient with both hips replace over the past 6 years, I confidently support the staff of the Edinburgh physical therapy team. Each staff member was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. They took their time to work with me ensuring maximum results while being aware of and limitations or discomfort during each session. Fantastic experience: I have severe spinal stenosis in my neck and was ordered physical therapy as a path to surgery. The physical therapy got my pain somewhat manageable but I decided to start getting weekly dry needling and it's changed my life. I had trigger points in my neck and back that were over 30 years old and they are finally starting to release. It takes time but this is the first time I've felt relief in so long I wasn't even aware how painful and tight my back and neck were until the it started to get better. I will continue dry needling indefinitely and put off cervical spinal surgery as long as I can. This place has given me a higher quality of life and I'm so grateful. Also everyone there is so friendly and positive. I went in there with a horrible attitude thinking it was a waste of time but it wasn't. I want to take this time to apologize for my bristly demeanor my first few visits. My pain levels left me with no ability to even think clearly. Thank you so much.

I’ve learned so much from her in guiding me through this process! I cant say enough good things about her and the practice.

Fantastic experience: After total knee replacement, they got me walking pretty quickly. Friendly professional and they work well as a team. I have a second knee replacement scheduled and will be returning to Sentara therapy -Edinburg Thanks girls for all your help.

Fantastic experience: Stephanie Jones, OTR/L, CHT is fantastic! I broke my distal radius in my right wrist, requiring surgery, a plate and nine screws. It's amazing how much motion you lose in just a few weeks post-surgery. Stephanie was amazing, however, and within 6 weeks of following her directions to a tee (yes, this is something you have to do on your own as well), I am happy to say that I have all of my wrist motion back. I am now focused on rebuilding strength. This is a fantastic center, and Stephanie is personal, gets to know what you like & what you're unable to do, then develops a thorough plan and helps you set & accomplish goals to get back in your game! Amazing experience, and highly recommended!!

Fantastic experience: Stephanie (OT) was wonderful getting me as close to prior injury status as possible. Her innovative.ideas and tasks took therapy to another level! She worked me hard (and gave me homework)…. The results paid off. Thank you for everything!

I recently completed my PT and was extremely impressed with each therapist; given the level of knowledge, care shown to my individual needs and overall support in helping me accomplish goals set. Fantastic experience: I received excellent care and physical therapy for my total knee replacement at the Sentara Therapy Center - Edinburgh, Chesapeake, VA. The complete staff was professional, knowledgeable and very experienced in dealing with knee pain/issues. I received therapy three times each week for ten weeks. My physical range of motion continued to improve throughout my ten weeks. The Edinburgh facility enabled me to use the most advanced / best equipment and ....make a complete recovery. I feel lucky to have had the best therapists and facility . I cannot say enough good things about the therapists. Their personalized treatment plan and coordination aided in my speedy recovery.

Fantastic experience: I have been to other physical therapy places but this one is by far the best. I have Kristen & Kayla. They are absolutely amazing. They actually explained in detail why we are doing the exercises that we are doing and what muscles they’re supposed to help. I highly recommend this place. I wish I could give them more than 4 stars…..BEST PHYSICAL THERAPY place & people I have ever been to…..

Fantastic experience: All the ot and pt's are wonderful. I would highly recommend Sentara Therapy Center. They are very conscious of pain and what you are able to handle. Well done ladies, well done. .

Positive experience: This therapy center has a wonderful staff; they were timely, efficient and the exercise was helpful to my recovery. However, the bills I received afterwards were what caused me to write this review. I paid a co-pay of $40 per visit upon arrival. I asked twice how much each session would be and was told I was paying a co-pay of approx. 25%. That seemed reasonable. After I was done with therapy, "Each" session was then billed to my insurance at $703, not the approx. amount of $160 I was expecting. 9 sessions were bills at a total of $6,186. (My surgeon only charged $4,200 for my hip surgery). What's wrong with this picture??? Whatever insurance does not pay towards PT is your responsibility. I am now receiving bills to that effect. The parent company is Sentara Princess Anne Hospital. I would highly recommend NOT going here unless you have the world's greatest health insurance (Gucci or better) and it pays for it.
