Fantastic experience: The staff here are great... and I mean all of them they all go out of their way to help their patients. Even having some therapy supplies that you use for sale. They offer dry needling, chiropractic care, aqua therapy, physical therapy, and child speech therapy. While seeing my therapist and asking questions about possible treatments, they alway try and help

Negative experience: I feel this place makes it difficult to effectively participate in therapy when they are still forcing you to wear a mask that makes an already difficult task, more difficult when you can't breathe.

Fantastic experience: I’m a very healthy person but due to the aging process, have some neck and back issues. Dr. Martinez has helped me tremendously. I honestly wasn’t expecting a lot of relief, but even after the first visit, I could certainly tell a difference in the way my body felt. Dr. Martinez offers relevant advice and suggestions, and does not make you feel like you are being rushed in and out. She sincerely cares about her patients health.

Positive experience: They were able to correct what my doctors misdiagnosed. I had a pinched nerve and the doctors insisted it was muscular. The therapists here relived the pain in the first visit!

Fantastic experience: I felt the need to see a chiropractor. I had stiffness in my neck when I turn my head to the left. Also very bad pain in my left upper shoulder area. Dr. Victoria Martinez was able to rectify 75% of my issues in the first two visits. The office staff are very kind and does a very good scheduling. I’m very happy with the service I received at this location. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I had my very first adjustment with Dr. Martinez yesterday and the entire day I was bragging about her work!! I don't have any past injuries or any major issues with my body but I knew my alignment could be better. After just one adjustment I knew I was in the right place. I swear I could hear better. I felt lighter and taller. And the release had me in this blissful high! She is very knowledgeable about her craft. She walked me through every detail. And had so many suggestions about things I can do at home to assist in my overall alignment. I'm such a fan!!! I'm trying to figure out how to give back. Fantastic experience: I had a very good experience at Sentara Therapy Center on Battlefield Blvd. in Chesapeake, VA. My appointments were always on time. Everyone always greeted me with a friendly greeting and very professional. The center was immaculate! This is a happy place to visit!

She jumped right in after i had been told by other MDs that there was nothing that could be done. Fantastic experience: I've been doing a circuit of doctors, neurologist, technician, and physical therapist appointments since a car accident I had about 6 months ago that damaged multiple areas on my left side. I was at the point where I had wrapped up with the doctors, wrapping up with the neurologist, and required no more test. I had even completed the physical therapy with another company. Even with all the work I put in I was still having shoulder blade pains and honestly never though I could or would walk normally again, let alone run. Working with their new Chiropractor Dr.V has been about the closest thing I have seen to a miracle after only a few sessions. I have gone from not being able to put my full weight on my left leg to the point where I can hop up and down on it. We are still working on it to gain my freedom from pain, but just the progress I have made in the few weeks is more then 11 weeks of physical therapy. My shoulder blade also feels less and less like a wound up rubber band after every session. I highly recommend this location and wouldn't recommend anyone before them. They put a lot of care and work into their treatment. Dr.V herself is a breath of fresh air and ray of sunshine in the darkness. She'll get you straight, no pun intended, and have you smiling the whole time.

Fantastic experience: Went by Sentara to talk too the staff after they were suggested by my Dr. I was diagnosed with a bulging disk which was creating alot of sciatica nerve pain. On my 1st visit my PT Dertick told me that although my Dr prescribed 18 visits he thought that if everything went well he'd have me feeling better in 6 visits or less. Not saying they can do the same for everybody but they were right on the money with me. After I was finished I felt 100% better and should completely heal on my own without surgery. Overall they are extremely knowledgeable and qualified and I couldn't have made a better decision. They were extremely prompt on appointment times and unlike another reviewer, I found dealing with the front desk and scheduling appointments & make payments to be very easy. Sentra Rehab is a fantastic place for anyone in the Chesapeake area and I would definitely use them again. Make sure you ask for Derrick or Vicky!
