Pivot PT- Chesapeake (Battlefield)

Fantastic experience: This is my 4th time using Pivot for my therapy. I continue to go back because of the great care I receive there. Everyone is knowledgeable and friendly.

Fantastic experience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an excellent experience with this physical therapy clinic. The therapists were knowledgeable, patient, and truly cared about my recovery. They took the time to explain each exercise and made sure I was comfortable and progressing safely. The atmosphere was welcoming and encouraging, and I saw real improvement in my strength and mobility. I’m very grateful for their support and highly recommend this clinic to anyone needing physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was very professional and caring. I could tell they sincerely wanted to help. Communication was never an issue. Also the online portal that shows you all of your exercises was very helpful.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to come here about 5 years ago by my orthopedic surgeon following shoulder surgery. During that time i worked closely with Renee and a couple of other therapists one of which I believe moved on to become manager at another center. The atmosphere was friendly, inviting and encouraging, so much so that they graduated me yet couldn’t get rid of me. I came back at least 3 more times (for different ailments) and my daughter was treated here as well. Everytime I have been welcomed with open arms and a positive attitude. I most recently came for therapy to my knee and will once again be treated for post op care. As long as I continue to need therapy, and Renee continues to be the manager here, I will go out of my way to make this my home base.

Fantastic experience: I needed Physical Therapy and chose Pivot and I’m so glad I decided on this location. From day one I picked up on the team work between everyone who worked there. And I was really taken back by how they all worked together to help me get the most relief possible as I was being treated for severe plantar fasciitis and the pain when I started was so unbearable. I had been suffering for about a year until I finally knew I needed help. And they helped me in so many ways during my PT especially shoe recommendations which I bought two pair called Vionic’s 10/10 recommend, the Strassburg sock to sleep in, how to roll my foot on a frozen water bottle. When I tell you they all would chime in and tried their best to help me that meant so much to me. Other clients loved them as well, it was such a friendly atmosphere. I worked closely with Lauren, Janetta, Nekida and Renee, Shannon. Literal teamwork guys!! I can’t say enough positive things about my personal experience and on my last day of PT my feet for the first time in almost a year had no pain. These days I feel some medical services are rushed or little to no real help but not Pivot and this location in particular. I highly recommend them for top notch experience on your recovery. Thank you all for helping me get back to be able to go on my walks which I’ve missed dearly until now. Also the office staff is very personable, I literally had the best experience. Can’t thank them enough.

Fantastic experience: My favorite place for Physical Therapy! Cured my foot issue. No pain now. So, when my 95 year old Mom started having shoulder issues, to PIVOT we went. They not only worked on her shoulder but, noticing difficulties with balance, worked to improve that serious problem. Everyone is so helpful and very friendly. Noone is ignored. We highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: I bring my Dad, who is 89, here for his physical therapy, which was ordered by his doctor for his balance & walking issues. He has only had 2 visits but, I am very impressed with what his physical therapist has done with him so far.

Fantastic experience: Best self care classes in the area . They listen . They explain the how , and why . I don't feel rushed to get done because of insurance . Better than pills that can be ended by a Dr . I'll always have what I'm learning here . I've been to other PT facilities in the area . I walked away out of pure frustration . I have spinal injuries , so I'll always need to adjust my PT program from time to time . But I ain't never leaving here ! My therapist , Renee Midgett is absolutely at the highest skill level . Anyone would be blessed to get a referral here.

Fantastic experience: I had back surgery back in December and six weeks later I was sent to Pivot for physical therapy. They were amazing from the start both Ryans were great. Each day did was ask you how you feel and your progression to know the next steps of therapy for you. Their first week that I went there I was using a walker and by the end of that first week I was able to walk on my own. The staff is great and I would highly recommend

Fantastic experience: The Pivot PT staff are amazing! They are extremely structured in day to day business. They are professional is providing for each client. It's awesome as you go through your rehab routine as they make you feel you are their top priority.

Fantastic experience: After several years of severe back pain and pain medications, I was sent to Pivot for Physical therapy. I can honestly say, within two weeks, severe pain went for a 10 to 3 tensity wise speaking, best I have felt in four years without medications. I can't say it's a permanent cure, only that my daily life is less painful. My appreciation to each Physical Therapists.

Negative experience: I came to Pivot three yrs ago for the first time, a young lady came out to greet me , she made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I had knee replacement and l was uneasy , after leaving their l just knew that l was at the right place the care was excellent.my first knee replacement was in Cal, l had a awesome therapist in Cal so l knew l was getting good care .Now im back 4 yrs later , it's like coming home im getting the same care great staff at Pivot.

Fantastic experience: Rene Midgett, PT, DPT and her staff are wonderful. I've gone to them for several different therapies and they are always professional, compassionate and motivating. I wouldn't go to anyone else.

Positive experience: The therapy itself is nice. Billing on the other hand not nice at all. I also feel deceived by some charges on my bill. I was not told that the heat packs cost extra and one of my appointments had a charge than the others. That appointment was normal and nothing special happend. They also dont have online payment. I called to get my bill settled and told them I wanted to pay but that I dont have checks and woupdnt feel comfortable mailing something like that in. They told me they would call me back later to discuss a solution. However they never called and while I waited they sent my bill to collections. I would not recommend this place unless you are fairly wealthy to the point you dont have to care about surprise additions to your bill and that you actualy use checks in this day and age.
