Physical therapy and wellness, including the Schroth Method for scoliosis and wellness packages offered in Grand Junction, CO.
Physical therapy is often thought of as a way to recover from injury, but it can also have a positive impact on your overall health and quality of life. Physical therapists are invaluable resources and act as clinicians, coaches, teachers, and guides. Read on to learn more about my services and if I’m the right fit for you.
If you (or your child) have been diagnosed with scoliosis, you may feel unsure what this means for your long-term health or what you can do about it. Depending of the severity of your symptoms, you can gain control over the progression of scoliosis (or excessive kyphosis) and learn conservative strategies to take care of your spine, improve your posture, and optimize your prognosis.
The practice of yoga offers strategies to improve mind, body, and spiritual health. You don’t need to be flexible or fit to practice yoga. True yoga meets you where you are. You may invest as little or as much time as you want into learning how to apply yoga concepts in your life.
I’m a physical therapist and also a yoga therapist. You may benefit from working with me first if you have underlying concerns that make a group session intimidating.
You don’t need to be injured or sick to want to feel better. Wellness is essentially proactive and preventative medicine. It’s the decisions you make everyday towards improved mind, body, and spiritual health. I’d be honored to be a part of your network of providers guiding you to towards optimal health. Check out my offerings to learn how I may help.
Happy New Year! This month, I share research on Iliotibial Band Impingement Syndrome, tips on reducing sugar intake, and how to do a Bulgarian lunge.
With over 25 years as a physical therapist (PT), my career has predominantly focused on outpatient orthopedics. I love learning about the body and mind and how they work together. I value research and do my best to stay at the forefront of evidence-based practices. I also see the value in alternative therapies and am continually learning more about the complexities of health and healing.
I hold certifications in orthopedics, manual therapy, yoga therapy, and specialize in areas such as functional breathing. These diverse skills provide me with a comprehensive view of health and wellness. My background has enriched my understanding of pain, disease, and dysfunction, enabling me to offer an integrated approach.
Two Rivers Physical Therapy and Wellness: Reviews
Fantastic experience: I am a resident of Grand Junction and a retired Registered Nurse with over 30 years of health care experience. I had a left total knee replacement and chose Christine for my rehab. It was a great decision. She is so knowledgeable, caring and compassionate and has a wonderful personality. She continually adjusted my therapy as needed based on her evaluation of my progress. She did the same for my home exercise routine which was really helpful. I would recommend her to anyone requiring rehabilitative or wellness therapy.
Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Christine enough. Her level of knowledge, attention to detail and the way she cared for myself as a patient is superb. She helped me get back to my daily routine and exercises with minimal to no pain in no time and ensured that I understood how and when to do the exercises she gave me for my own time!
Fantastic experience: Christine is amazing! She is caring, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. Especially in regards to orthopedic issues. She takes time and really listens. I would not go anywhere else.
Fantastic experience: I want to give Christine the highest recommendation possible! I recently saw her for a rotator cuff tear. I have had PT many times in my life, but have never received the level of care I have with her. She addresses neck, back, arm- all connective areas. The massage techniques she used, along with the exercises were so complete and were very effective. Almost more important than that, I felt she truly CARED about my progress. I was extremely impressed and recommend her most highly.
Fantastic experience: Christine is an amazing physical therapist and I would recommend her to everyone. She is kind and is so knowledgeable with my messed up back! I give her a 20 out of 5!
