Kinetic Wellness, PLLC: Reviews
Fantastic experience: I’ve received physical therapy from Dr. Chelsea Moehlenbrock of Kinetic Wellness, PLLC for one year. In 2019, at age 64, I was diagnosed with moderate osteoporosis. Four years later in 2023, despite taking the prescribed oral osteoporosis medication, having good nutrition, and modest exercise, the latest bone scans revealed severe osteoporosis. My new rheumatologist was emphatic that weight bearing exercise be increased in tandem with the monthly injections for osteoporosis that I would receive for the next 12 months. The weight bearing exercises would help to stimulate new bone growth. Given this recommendation, I was seeking someone who could emphasize a safe weight-bearing approach with a rehabilitation emphasis. Researching possibilities, I discovered Western Slope Rehab and Performance in Grand Junction. In a call with Western Slope’s Blake Miller, DPT, PT, he recommended that Chelsea Moehlenbrock, DPT, PT would be a great match. I was also overjoyed that Medicare and my supplemental insurance covered the bulk of my therapy. From the onset, Dr. Chelsea Moehlenbrock had keen assessment skills considering my physical abilities and acknowledging my fears about osteoporosis. Over the past year, she carefully tailored exercises that protected my lumbar spine and which provided weight-bearing exercise through free weights, kettlebells, resistance bands, and barbells. Dr. Moehlenbrock coached me through proper spine alignment when lifting, bending, and carrying items, both for functional living as well as the activities that I love. I hike, snowshoe, walk, bicycle, and workout at a fitness center. I’ve added home workout equipment to complement my workouts at the fitness center. Additionally, Dr. Moehlenbrock provided me with a “toolbox of exercises” through PhysioApp. I am much stronger physically than a year ago. Mentally, I’m rejuvenated with confidence, deep relief, respect for my body, and immense joy! I highly recommend Dr. Chelsea Moehlenbrock!
Fantastic experience: Chelsea is great, very knowledgeable but will tell you if she is not sure of something. I'm a personal trainer and a professional dancer, and she has been able to help me recover from injuries and develop more range of motion than I could have on my own. I highly recommend her!
Fantastic experience: Kinetic Wellness is just an overall great experience. Chelsea is AMAZING and super patient with all of her patients. She really takes the time to listen to you and what is going on , without rushing you. She genuinely cares about you and your healing process, compared to a lot of other physical therapy places where they rush you when explaining things, and tend to keep prolonging the healing process just so they can take your money. This is just the opposite. Chelsea is also super understanding that dancers can’t always just “stop and take a break and rest.” She finds great ways to help strengthen the muscles that are injured instead of waiting it out / resting it until it doesn’t hurt anymore. Highly recommend if you are any sort of athlete. She is great !
Fantastic experience: I am a professional dancer with Colorado West Performing Arts, and Chelsea is an invaluable resource for the company dancers. She is knowledgeable and helpful with providing both an immediate and long-term solution. I would recommend her to any dancer in need of PT.
Fantastic experience: I brought my daughter here for PT with her feet. She is very kind, knowledgably, and thorough. She spent a lot of time with us. The studio and space was nice and clean. She followed up with a plan and exact exercises to help strengthen at home. Would highly recommend her for any dancers in the area!
