Vidant Outpatient Rehabilitation - Adult

Positive experience: I went here for occupational therapy for six months and made zero progress in regaining the use of my arm and hand after multiple stro. Instead of taking ownership of their role in my lack of recovery, they blamed it on me by putting in my chart I wasn’t doing my home exercise plan. I bought my supplies like the ones we used in sessions to continue working on my recovery at home. People who buy their own therapy equipment for home use are doing heir therapy. It’s just easier for them to blame the patient and give up on helping the patient recover than it is to own their part in my lack of progress. They showed no compassion, empathy,caring, or interest in how hard all of this washas been on me. They were more interested in playing gotcha. Your shirt is on inside out. I thought you said you don’t need help dressing yourself. My PT Josh was absolutely awesome!!!!! I added stars back for him. Beware the uncompassionate, and ever ready to criticize blonde bitties inoutpatient occupational therapy. I’m now seeing a therapist in Wilson who is patient, honest, kind, empathetic,encouraging, and compassionate. If I had her before going here, I truly believe my arm and hand would be working no..

Positive experience: It’s hard to go to pt referring dr need to wait over a month to get in and I feel with a elastic band I can do at home which I do looking for more relief myofascial release dry needling pain is there but drs are in give up mode I feel

Positive experience: We were fortunate to get two weeks of rehab for my husband after a 45 day hospitalization. The therapist were wonderful, but the case manager was not. She dropped the ball several times including arranging for the purchase of a rollator for him to use at home. We were promised that he would have one and had to scramble at the last minute to borrow one. Three weeks after the original mix up and we are still using the borrowed rollator. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the rehab therapists; Zero stars for the case manager. (Louise)

Fantastic experience: I’m speaking on the pediatric department. The staff are so amazing. I’ve been taking my daughter for two years and every experience has been great. They are so professional and really care about the progress of the child. She went from not being able to move her arm to having almost 95 percent mobility. I highly recommend this facility.
