NEW FOR 2023 -  Carolina Occupational Therapy Hand & UE Rehabilitation is pleased to announce the addition of a Class IV Multiwave Locked System (MLS) Laser to be integrated into its daily treatment interventions/practices.  COTHUE is currently the only hand therapy practice in the region to utilize MLS Laser. The CHTs at COTHUE have been running their own clinical trials during the month of December and the results have been excellent.  Nine out of 10 clinical trial patients who received the MLS Laser treatment in our clinic reported notable/significantly reduced pain.  Multiwave Locked System Laser treatments are a game changer for many patients….. It is a SAFE, EFFECTIVE, AND PROVEN intervention.  10 years and hundreds of research article/papers/trials have all come to the same conclusion – MLS Laser works for a majority of the patients a majority of the time.  It is especially effective for inflammatory conditions.  Access to MLS Laser treatments is not limited to only patients referred to COTHUE for skilled OT hand therapy services.  ANY person can be referred for stand-alone MLS Laser treatments with a valid prescription from a licensed medical provider (MD/DO/PA/NP/CNM).  Please click on the "MLS LASER" tab above ​
