Fantastic experience: I was originally scheduled for a different physical therapist and once there I was extremely uncomfortable. I called my adjuster and they recommended Cornerstone Physical Therapy. Dr. Anthony was very responsive and reassuring to my needs over the phone. I knew immediately speaking with him, that this was the physical therapy and wellness center I needed in order to heal. Arturo and Nick was very helpful and kind to my needs as well. Fantastic experience: My primary doctor highly recommended Cornerstone Physical Therapy and Wellness. I had an injury with my lower back that was very painful. The physical therapy team has been great with teaching me stretches and working on ways to build my strength. I appreciate their patience and explanations so I can understand how I am getting better. They also offer massages and acupuncture which I appreciate bc it encourages a supportive, holistic approach to my health. I highly recommend folks coming whether it's for physical therapy, massage and/or acupuncture.

Since I’ve started my physical therapy with Anthony and his amazing team I have noticed improvement from my mobility and pain levels decreasing. Fantastic experience: Anthony Tam and his group at Cornerstone are great! They have helped me begin to walk better and use my knees and legs more each time I see them. I have learned soo much about my muscles and how they work to help my knees, from them. They customize and challenge me while making sure I feel safe while doing my physical therapy. I’m 59, I was thinking I’d have to probably get new knees, but I am now feeling that I can continue with their help, to get stronger and be able to keep my own knees!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Dr Anthony Tam for many years now as I had major and minor surgeries and I highly recommend him as he is a very good, thorough, kind Dr of PT. He addressed all my concerns , as I was and always hurting mostly on both upper and lower extremities. He listens to your concerns and know exactly what is best for you. It helps me a lot doing those exercises, strengthening, stretching. It’s also a plus because he is Dr . Very compassionate.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Dr. Anthony Tam now for quite sometime. I had surgery for by shoulder (Rotator Cuff Repair). The surgery was a long process to recover, not to mention it was very painful. Dr. Tam was very patient with me. He did not over-exert, or go beyond what I can handle when it came to my physical exercises. His exercise routines were simple and easy to follow at home. I agree with the other ratings that Dr. Tam is knowledgable and listens to your concerns. If there is anything that he is not sure of, he tells me to consult with my provider. I don't think that I would have recovered as fast if Dr. Tam was not as patient, caring and understanding to my needs. I would highly recommend Dr. Tam to family and friends...100%! Thank you, Dr. Tam and staff.

Fantastic experience: Anthony and his staff are nothing short of phenomenal. I was referred to his place from my cousin after twisting my ankle playing ball at balboa park and wouldn't heal after 3 weeks. He worked on my ankle as well as my flexibility and core to help avoid any tightness in the future. His laid back approach allowed me to be comfortable with his practice and def gain his trust.

Fantastic experience: Anthony Tam provides a fine level of physical therapy. He has a well-equipped studio and two very able assistants, Nick and Wayne. The atmosphere is friendly and the therapy/workout exercises provided are excellent. On-site there is also an excellent massage therapist, Adriana. My wife and I have been utilizing Anthony’s services for over a year and are very happy with our physical therapy there.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Anthony Tam since before my total knee replacement …before to strengthen my knee, leg and muscles for the surgery and enhance my recovery. My recovery has been great, slow but sure as Dr Tam and Nick ensure ALL aspects of a normal life are met. I’m very pleased…and so is my surgeon! Another great addition (and treat) is Adriana, the massage therapist. Her treatments also enhance my recovery!

Fantastic experience: Came in for post surgery PT for my meniscus. Dr Tam was very professional and taught me exercises to strengthen the surrounding muscles, so I can get back to playing basketball. I definitely recommend Dr Tam for anyone looking for physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Tam has been amazing. I was dealing with a strained hip flexor for over a month and Dr. Tam help me get back to 100%. If you can imagine, this strain really impacted my daily life and Dr. Tam was great about communicating his treatment plan, finding the root cause of the injury, monitoring my progress and strengthening the areas to help protect me from future injuries. I can't thank Dr. Tam enough.

Fantastic experience: I don't usually write reviews, mind you, but I felt the need to this time. Aside from the amazing work Dr. Tam (he insists I just call him Anthony) performs on me, I believe his communication and his service is what sets his work apart from all the rest. For me, he continually checked up on me, would email me exercises that would target areas that were giving me pain or trouble, made sure I was keeping up with my exercises and movements, did unsolicited outside research on things that could and did help me. It all amounted to not just working on my ailments but leaving me feeling like someone truly cared for my well-being. Overall such a positive experiences and I felt the need to give my 2 cents. My body owes Dr. Tam at least that!

Fantastic experience: When i needed a Physical Therapist for my shoulder pain, my neighbor recommended Dr Anthony Tam. My neighbor is being treated for her back and shoulder pains. My first visit with Anthony was on August 30, 2020. He is friendly and caring. He treats all his patients like family. He is very knowledgeable in what he does and very professional with all his dealings with everyone. Upon learning where my shoulder pain was coming from thru xray and MRI, he then planned specific routine exercises and approaches so that my arm and shoulder can move freely with less pain. I am still under his care to this date and i am truly grateful that the quality of my daily life has improved because of his help.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to see Dr.Tam on and off for 3 years now and wanted to take a moment to say thank you for being part of my recovery. When I first came into the clinic I was confined to a wheelchair due to a spinal condition that caused severe muscular atrophy in my lower body. In a sense, I had to learn to walk again, and I know that without the help of Dr.Tam and fellow staff I would not have recovered so quickly. The level of compassion and encouragement I received from Dr.Tam kept me going forward during my long recovery.
