Mercy Health - Fairfield Hospital Acute Rehabilitation Unit

Fantastic experience: The team at Mercy Fairfield ARU were incredible to my dad. His care was top notch and the attention to his feelings were appreciated. The communication between the team and our family was consistent, including team rounding several days a week. The team took time and had patience with a man who is hard of hearing and cantankerous at times. I highly recommend the ARU at Mercy Fairfield.

Fantastic experience: I was greatly impressed with the professionalism of the rehab staff! They built my confidence back so I could tackle the daily living skills they gave me to complete. Having the rehab center being part of the hospital complex was a bonus for myself and my family! I'd rate them very highly.

Fantastic experience: I’d like to thank the entire staff that helped my dad through a very scary and trying time after having two mini strokes on top of other health issues. We were treated like family and I am happy to say he is leaving doing better than he was prior to being admitted! Thank you to all the Doctors, Specialists, Nurses and the rest of the staff for sending him home healthy and strong! I would recommend this program to anyone!

Fantastic experience: My husband had 2 mini strokes and also has Parkinson’s. I can say Mercy’s Rehabilitation center has the most amazing /caring therapist ❤️and Nurses! Dr. Heis is wonderful Doctor and stayed on top of all his health issues. With top physical therapy, fantastic speech, therapist and wonderful occupational therapist. We treated like family. My husband is walking out here better than when he came in before the stroke. We are very pleased and would highly recommend coming to Mercy Fairfield Inpatient rehabilitation center. Here at Mercy you are invited to a monthly gathering to show off your recovery and socialize with other recovering patient . Thank you Mercy Fairfield fo such wonderful care❤️

Fantastic experience: My husband received exceptional care at the Mercy Hospital Fairfield Inpatient Rehab Unit. The nurses and therapists were very caring and knowledgeable. They helped my husband recover well. I highly recommend this Inpatient Rehab Center.
