Fantastic experience: Dr. Mike and his team are the best around. I've been a patient here for over 8 years and keep coming back because they really take the time to work with me on not only fixing my issues but providing the education and tools to help prevent it in the future. I've been to other chiropractors in the area who give you 5 minutes of their time for an adjustment and send you on your way. With Essex, it's a more complete approach to care that works best for me.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Provenzano & the staff at Essex Physical Therapy have provided me with pt on a number of occasions over the past 10 years – notably tennis elbow & lower back issues. It’s a small & well-run, professional practice that treats you far beyond just another patient. They go beyond what I’ve expected from them & want to understand how my injury is limiting my abilities and interfering with enjoying life. I’ve always been able to easily schedule my appointments with them. On occasion if I was running late to an end-of -the -day appointment (traffic) they would (when they could) stay a bit longer beyond their regular work hours to accommodate me. I’ve never run into any issues with the insurance coverage I have, and insurance claims have never resulted in any surprises for me. Recently, when I needed more pt sessions than my insurance coverage allotted, EPT worked with my insurance provider to extend my sessions. Dr. P & his staff know what they’re doing & they’re good people too.

Fantastic experience: My family and I are long time patients of Essex PT&C. I am a SW programmer by trade and came in to see Dr. Provenzano after all the other docs and surgeons recommended fusing my spine because my left hand went numb. This was @2010. Dr. Provenzano did an evaluation and warned me that my condition took a while to set in and would take work on my part to heal. I had a condition called a bulging disk because of the nature of my work. Unfortunately for me, the bulge pinched the nerves going into my left hand, resulting in pain and numbness. Dr. Provenzano gave me hope and assurance. After extensive PT and Chiropractic treatments, I am now able to keep my pain and numbness away. He taught me good habits like stretching and exercises to strengthen muscles around my neck. Why did I trust him over other docs? He is one of very few Docs that will patiently listen to what you have to say. He is extremely personable and gentle. His staff is the same way very professional and personable. They come up with very creative treatments. I hike a lot, so Essex PT is my first stop when I have back pains. The pains are gone in a week. For us it is a family practice because my Daughter, Wife and Mother go there too, for all kinds of physical ailments. What does one have to lose? Dr. Provenzano is very forthcoming and will recommend a specialist if your ailment is not something he can treat or treat immediately. My wife is a Fitness instructor and a Backpacking Leader. She tends to mangle her back often to the point she is all bent out of shape. You guessed it... Dr. Provenzano has her up and running in a couple of treatments. No, he is not a MiracleMan!! He is just extremely hard-working and Top of His Class!!! He knows the physical human body really-really well to target his treatments. In a sense I can say that my family and I live life more boldly because we know Dr. Provenzano has our backs.

Fantastic experience: I have been to Essex PT and Chiropractic on many occasions for different injuries. I have found Dr. Mike and his staff to be very compassionate. They listen and work with you to help you recover and return to your normal activities. I highly recommend this practice .

Fantastic experience: It really doesn’t get any better than this place. Doctor Mike (Although he’d rather be called Mike or Michael instead of Doctor tells you something right there) & his staff are truly amazing! Such a warm practice with friendly & helpful people who really do care about relieving your pain. All of them take their time & don’t rush you out. They always greet you & make you feel very welcomed. Never mind all the services they offer. Trust me there’s no place you’d want to go other than Essex Physical Therapy & Chiropractic!
