Fantastic experience: This place did everything for my family member it was supposed to do. It got him out of an acutely dangerous situation, allowed him a safe place to stabilize and resume his meds, provided him with stern guidance and structure, and helped him find resources when he was discharged. I don't know what people expect from these types of places--leather couches and one on one time with Sigmund Freud? A permanent housing solution? A massage and foot rub? Mental illness is a lifelong struggle. This place is a stop gap for when families and individuals can no longer deal with that reality. Sad but true. It is a good place for being medicaid funded and a jewel resource for the poor and unhoused. I hope my loved one never has to go back there again, but I'm glad this psych hospital exists to help in some small way.

Fantastic experience: I had a good experience. The nurses that I was assigned to were very understanding. The staff as well. Thank you Tamika, thank you offelia there is one more just that I never got your name, you showed me love for helping out someone that had trouble walking back to his room,Thank you. The therapist team Mary, Angela, and Morgan were extremely awesome. I got so comfortable that I didn't want to go back home. Just to think about returning back to work and facing all responsibilities that led me there. I even got a ride home. I live 45 minutes away.
