Negative experience: I want to preface this, with the therapists there have been AMAZING! I wish I could write a separate review specifically for them! They had amazing (and flexible) communication skills, were highly knowledgeable, and always went above and beyond to help THEIR clients achieve goals, and are LITERALLY life savers! This review is for whoever ran Ross! To give only 2 1/2 weeks notice to patients AND counselors of their permanent closure June 30th was downright UNETHICAL! For facility owners to be well aware that it generally takes at least a month for patients to get an intake with a new mental health provider, could cost people’s lives. Not to mention they gave the same lack of notice to all of their wonderful therapists as well! Getting through to their front desk was always a nightmare, and we relied on having to contact counselors themselves to do those administrative duties to get those, or to handle any sort of new-patient scheduling… but they should have just hired someone more competent, and left the doors open… or at least given therapists and patients (clients) ample notice, to plan a change in services. I sincerely hope a legal investigation is launched into whoever it is that owns (owned?) the ross center, and I further hope it’s ensured they never operate a mental health facility, or any other business for that matter, ever again. This was outright CRIMINAL!

Negative experience: Do not use these people. They have been lying to me for months telling me "We are just waiting on a signature" for paperwork I needed, when obviously, they just don't want to provide it.

Negative experience: No one answers the phone you will be calling all day what kind of establishment is this

Negative experience: Still waiting for a phone call to inform me my therapist is no longer with this group. Is this how you treat your patients?! I had the BEST therapist I’ve ever had in my entire adult life. I finally found someone that aided me in my healing. She listened. She genuinely cared. I want someone in this office to explain to me how it is ethical to leave patients high and dry? Not even the decency to properly transition patients. Fairly certain you have a legal obligation to do so.

Negative experience: I'm feeling extremely frustrated, because my therapist got terminated. Not only did she get terminated, no one from Ross Center reached out to me about it (you would think they have a protocol in place for situations like that? Either way, it doesn't seem like they're in the business of "people" with the way they've handled --or should I say-- the way they HAVEN'T handled everything). Had my terminated therapist not informed me, I would've been trying to attend my scheduled meetings with no answers. I finally decided to reach out to Ross Center and ask about it, but of course, they had no answer for me. I decided to schedule a phone meeting with a NEW therapist for yesterday and no one ever called me. No one ever reached out. So not only do they lack care for their patients, they clearly don't value us enough to be reliable and trustworthy. I'd say if you're looking for somewhere to go, don't go here.

Negative experience: My therapist was very warm and welcoming with me at first. We were scheduled for both one on one sessions and family therapy. The atmosphere and evrioment was not very comforting or safe for a minor like i was at the time. And being young and impressionable i was told to sign papers and they gave me no time to read them so i had no idea what i was signs but i did with the pressure of multiple adults watching it felt as if i didnt sign the papers i would be shamed. Family therapy started not long after i started going to therapy the therapy was with my abuser i stated how uncomfortable i was with the entire situation but my therapist practiaclly forced me. I felt unsafe and dreded going to every session. The sessions were mostly filled with my therapist and abuser ganging up on me even after i again stated that it made me extremely uncomfortable. It got to the point my therapist told me i HAD to contact my abuser multiple times a week and disregarded my restraining order agaisnt them. Being a minor who was terrified and uncomfortable i did. My therapist completely disregarded my boundaries. I do NOT recommend coming here especially for minors!

Fantastic experience: I have been going here for about a month and a half now and my therapist is an absolute dream. She’s so kind and caring and I always look forward to our weekly meetings. I cannot say enough good things about her. I have already seen so much progress in myself even though I’ve only been going for a short amount of time.

Fantastic experience: Excellent staff and great therapist.

Negative experience: Upon my intake session, I felt super uncomfortable. The therapist seemed nice. She greeted me and talked to me. I felt okay after that. However, when I went back to my second appointment, first time for basic counseling, the therapist stood in the hall way and giggled with another coworker for about 15 minutes. Making my appointment late. She sees me looking around seeing if she is coming out and when she finally did she did not acknowledge me or greet me. She stood there waiting for me, or anyone honestly to get up. We went back for the session. As I was about to leave, she reminded me of what we had discussed. As she continued talking, I grabbed my stuff and as I turned around, she was rolling her eyes at what she was reminding me to do. Needless to say, not only was she late and did not make sure to see who I was, she was annoyed at the fact of talking to me for whatever reason. My session also was not filled and was only given an entire 38 minutes, when I am to have 50. If she had been on time, I would not have had such a short session. I will not be returning. I will not be treated like crap and only as a paycheck.
