Fantastic experience: Went to visit a church friend and she said she had a good experience staying there. The staff was nice to me and the other visitor who accompanied me.

Fantastic experience: I arrived during their Sunday afternoon church service. The members of the church prayed with the residents at the end of the service. They seemed to enjoy that alot. Then I went and swapped summer clothes out of the closet for winter clothes. I brought my little dog, Coco for company while the task was done. Dinner was served in the room and it was served at the proper temperature and looked good to eat. We stayed until the meal was complete and went home. The employees attended to those in need at a good rate of speed while I was there. They also were helpful and kind.

Fantastic experience: My wife has suffered from severe Alzheimer's dementia for more than nine years, and is a resident of the Clarksville branch of the Brookdale treatment center since August of last year. In September of this year, she had a fall and broke her left hip. She had replacement surgery at Tennova, which went well. From there she was sent to Ahava in Clarksville for skilled Nursing, the better to prepare her for in-house P.T. when she was back in residence at Brookdale. The usual, no-complications-popping-up stay at Ahava is 4 to 5 days (though I have to say I heard that from a Tennova source). It has been twice that, and she has steadfastly refused to cooperate and has made little to no progress in getting around on foot or even using the toilet; she is presently not communicating and appears quite depressed & unhappy. I base my observations on 41 years of marriage, and the fact that I was her sole caregiver from the start in November 2015 until the night of July 29, 2023, when I knew it was time for professional care. None of the preceding is the fault of Ahava, who went above and beyond in trying to work with her. Brookdale is completely aware of her present state and is well-prepared to act. According to Ms. Emily at Ahava (she is the Social Worker involved with admission/discharge) Chong will be discharged from Ahava on October 31, and will be transported back to Brookdale on November 1st. My sincere thanks to the people of Ahava for their patience and dedication to duty.

Fantastic experience: Went to see my uncle today and he was in good spirits. Thank you for the way you guys are taking care of him.

Positive experience: 4 because you have to over exceed for me to rate you a 5 that's any and all places I love that they offer activities to help engage with our loved one to get him out of his room. And they will offer something besides greens to eat. My dad will not eat greens. They have been super polite with all my questions.

Fantastic experience: My sister n law is at Ahava for probably 3 months of rehab. While visiting today Praxton and Virginia came in and assisted my sister n law to sit up on the side of the bed. Very caring and patient with her. Sign in at front door electronically was very easy. A good day today for sure.

Negative experience: Beware of this place if you are sending a loved one. They can not afford to even have a janitor clean up. Imagine what else cost cutting "procedures" they have. I guarantee it they are under staffed under trained an under qualified.

Fantastic experience: Amazing place was visiting grandma and the staff was amazing and the food is actually pretty good they give guest and visitors food as well if you ask very pleases

Fantastic experience: My 95 year old mom has been a resident for only 2 weeks now with advanced dementia and I am so happy she's here. Everyone has been so nice, the place is clean and I really feel they're taking great care of her. I highly recommend Ahava if you're needing someplace for your loved one.

Positive experience: I am so appreciative to the care that father is receiving, I have worked in healthcare and understand the difficulties that the care team face daily. I’m confident in the team’s abilities.

Negative experience: The nurse who was in the 300 hall was not pleasant. Had the call light pressed for 30 minutes had to go find someone so we could get pain medicine for a family member. That was the only time they came in. Patient sharing the room with the family member requested multiple things and when I went to tell the nurse she said someone would do it in a minute.. never did! Asked for ice water for both my family member and other patient they wouldn’t let me get it and said someone else would and to just press the button and wait. If we could I would take my family member out of this nursing home in an instant.

Fantastic experience: My dad was placed there today fur hip replacement rehab. Everyone was kind and so far has been extremely helpful . I left my dad feeling comfortable that he will be completely taken care of and in good hands .

Positive experience: My husband will be doing his physical therapy at Ahava today is his first day the staff was welcoming they also answered all my questions to the best of their ability the room however could have been cleaned better the trash looked as if it hadn't been empty since the last client however iam looking forward to meeting the team that will be working with him besides the minor room issues so far so good

Negative experience: Staff takes care of patients as seen fit which is rare some sit hrs in own feces before being checked on food is questionable at times.Mostly needed is better staff a few good ones can't take care of them all.It is the patients who pay their salary so provide better care quit making them suffer, take your people somewhere else who will care for them.

Fantastic experience: Your facility was super clean. Personnel was pleasant, super helpful and shows the patient they truly care. I am in the home care business and I have visit many health facilities. You are definitely top of the list.

Negative experience: My father was recently in this facilty for Physical Therapy only. He was admitted on a Thursday. For starters he didn't even see a physical therapist until Saturday. Now for the facility. It is a older run down facility. Security is next to 0. I walked both halls with a bag in my hand, and not the lady at the front door, nor anyone else stopped me to ask me who I was or was there to see. Could have brought anything in. Aside from his nurse Dakota, good luck getting any attention from the nurses. Of this is voted the best facilty in Clarksville would hate to see the worst.

Negative experience: This is the worst nursing home in Clarksville Tennessee my grandmother only supposed to be there 3 weeks for rehab less than a week she end up dead the nursing home failed to tell us anything on the condition of my grandmother to make things worse they have her drugged up against her will without knowing fires that is illegal what they did and to give my uncle in the same nursing home who has dementia who cannot make decisions on his own decisions that what to do with my grandmother this nursing home killed my grandmother they have failed to give us updates on her health before she died there's criminal activity at this nursing home as well they have been stealing from the patients at this nursing home mistreating them allowing them to walk around in their own mess without changing them this nursing home is being a criminal investigation for illegal activities they do at this nursing home I warned you do not take your love once here there was still everything from your loved ones in this nursing home and they were drugged loved ones up and still their money also the front desk is nasty on the phone when you try to ask them about the prolongs of a loved one they don't know what to come up with answers then make up stories exactly with a military card they are refusing to give to my family that is illegal to withhold and gets without giving that military ID that criminal offense the FBI and Homeland security will be involved along with the army this is a warning don't let your loved ones end up happening like this in this nursing home like they killed my grandmother again this nursing home is being investigated by the FBI and Homeland security in the military

Fantastic experience: My loved one has been at Ahava for a few weeks, and I am impressed each time I visit. The staff seems pleasant and caring. I see the staff smiling and they did not seem stressed out or burned out or rushed. The facility seems to operate in a very orderly manner. I feel comfortable with my loved one in their care. The meals look delicious too.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday I visited Ahava Health of Clarksville. I noticed the friendly staff were eager to assist my friend and his roommate by bringing tea and coffee with a smile. I also noticed the facility looked very clean. I would definitely reccommend Ahava to people needing rehab or extended care!

Positive experience: Patient had not been bathed since Admission in about 3 days ago And slow to respond to call light when have to go to restroom. On restriction nonweight bearing for 6 weeks and unable to ambulate without assistance. So Patient unfortunately had soiled herself on accident. Staff extremely nice and courteous.

Negative experience: I don’t even want to add one star, but I have to so I can comment. I wouldn’t recommend this facility to my worse enemy. You’ve got stuck up staff, techs, nurses. It’s not family oriented at all. Residents go all day without getting checked on or changed. Rarely get their showers. 300 hall gets neglected the worse due to their techs and the nurse who runs the hall. Very poor attitudes and behavior, not professional at all.

There has always been many people like the staff ,coming in to check on her ,they all have been very nice and caring ,I admire the technology of security at the front door. Positive experience: Was my first visit and had no idea how to check in, front desk employee showed and explained it all to me and how to leave. They were busy cleaning the floors but had signs everywhere, place was clean. Only complaint not one single nurse spoke to me. Usually they will smile and say hello but the 4 or 5 I passed didn't.say a word or smile.

Negative experience: If your a cna and black do not take a job here...they are incompetent here! They bully and harass you. My worse part is that they refused to give me my own medical information and they cut my work time that I had on record. They don't have the common sense of 10 flies,so if you don't want your own health information held hostage and your hours manipulated then run from this place.

Fantastic experience: I had a little troublee signing in until a worker helper me by turning the screen down so it could see me better . Better instructions would be nice. Once in i.had no Problem finding the room I wanted. It was the last one in the hall. There was a chair in the room. On of the nurses even brought another chair in for my grand-daugter so she could set also. The room seemed to be clean and neat. All in all I had a good impression about the place.

Fantastic experience: It was our first time to visit Ahava. We were greeted by several staff members. One thing I noticed immediately was the interactions between staff and patients. Every staff member we saw seemed kind and attentive to the patients. I love that Ahava is well staffed. It seemed as if needs were being met just as soon as they arose. Our loved one was being attended to when we got there so we had time to observe what was going on while we waited to visit. I even remarked to my husband that Ahava seems like a place I’d enjoy working.

Fantastic experience: My mother is a resident and the staff have been nothing but wonderful to her and to us. I live in Springfield and work about an hour away in the other direction from Clarksville, and cannot make it to the facility each day, but the staff are very caring when I call to check on Mom's status. She has so many people that care for her and they never seem to forget that.

She does share a room, but she likes her room mate . They are a very friendly and helpful staff. The place itself is clean and seems to be well organized.

Fantastic experience: Ahava might not be a beauty queen but I have seen nothing but kindness towards those who live here. It's a clean and fresh smelling facility. The birds at the entrance are really fun to watch.

Negative experience: my sister worked there and said it was one of the worst medical establishments she’s worked in. the staff DOES NOT care about their patients or what happens to them. the patients are not taken care of properly at all and it’s very very sad.

Negative experience: Terrible. My grandfather was transported to this facility after hip surgery. He was not bathed regularly nor did he receive an adequate amount of physical therapy. They lost every piece of clothing that was brought to him. He complained of being sick for a week and they did nothing. After no help, he called 911 himself and had an ambulance pick him up and take him to the ER where he was diagnosed with a UTI.

Fantastic experience: The folks at AHAVA are great. They listen to to family members with the wishes of the patient they are caring for. I really appreciate all their efforts they put forth to those they are caring for.

We are extremely pleased with the care they are giving. It’s a difficult time for our family, as we have a family member in hospice care here. Fantastic experience: UPDATE: STILL LOVE IT THERE~! I currently have a family member at Ahava and I am also an employee. I see how they care for my family member and they do so good with him. He is as happy as someone displaced from home could be. They go above and beyond to make this transition a smooth one. They make him feel like he is at his second home and that is much appreciated by his family.
