Positive experience: Had to wait over an hour for a chest x-ray.
Fantastic experience: Dr Macdougall of pain management is a phenomenal Dr and very good at what he does! He makes you feel comfortable and the process of a spinal epidural injection is a breeze with him and his team! They are always so polite!! I was petrified my first time but now I won’t go anywhere else!!! Thank you to all the staff!!

Negative experience: I dont want to give one star.the emergency room department is the entrance to hell not only are the nurses rude so are the doctors.i have has covid for over a week i went to sango first and was flat out told to leave i came in Christmas eve to the rudest staff ever known to man.ive since been admitted and I promise you its night and day besides my first overnight nurse every one else has been wonderful.its sad when you would prefer to die than come to an emergency room

Negative experience: My mom is 83 years old and her immune system is very low. We came in the ER yesterday at 5pm because she is in very much pain. They found a problem with her gallbladder and are planning on removing it on Monday but she has yet to get a room. We spent the night in a hallway where she has been exposed to 100s of sick people of all sorts. This shift told me when I asked about a empty room I see that it was reserved for patients that are coming in ambulance. Well Mom came in the ambulance yesterday and she should have been placed in one of the rooms before the people arriving today. She has not been able to get any rest and hopefully she doesn't get a new problem by being exposed to so much other germs. I'm very at this care for the elderly people. After I called the number and they got my Mom in a room it's worse now. They hooked her up to stuff so I can't get her up to go to the bathroom. Room 17 in ER my mom is in so much pain since she had some kind of procedure 3 hours ago and I have pushed her nurses button 3 times and no one has been in here to help her get to the bathroom or to check on her after this procedure. I have even opened the door and screamed at the nurses several times and they just ignored me. This is messed up and as soon as my brother gets here we are going to get her the hell out of here

Negative experience: Im new to Clarksville and my experience here was worse then I ever could’ve imagined! I came in experience chest pains after a month of having pneumonia. After waiting 6 hours I asked the nurse when I would be called back and she said I was waiting to be discharged! I have never even been seen. They told me I needed an IV and bloodwork and I never even received that. I’ve been waiting 6 hours, very sick, for absolutely nothing. When asked who I could talk to that could help me they told me there was nothing they could do and I had to wait to talk to discharge. I’ve never felt so neglected at any medical place in my life. There’s people laying down on the floors here throwing up. The place is ran down and disgusting. I will be driving to Nashville if I ever need to be seen again. Worst hospital ever

Positive experience: My appointment was at 12pm. I arrived an HOUR early. Wasn’t seen until about 1:30-1:45pm. I was getting an ultrasound. I told the tech that she was hurting me. Now, I’ve had three babies, I know what an ultrasound consists of and what it feels like. I’ve NEVER experienced pain with an ultrasound. She was ROUGH! I have a very high tolerance for pain, I told her, “ hey that’s hurts.” She didn’t adjust her pressure or even bat an eye to me wincing in reaction to her movements. Bedside manner was at an all time low!

Fantastic experience: From the calls the weeks before, prep the day before and the day of out patient surgery, everyone was pleasant, helpful and professional. Every step was explained. Every person introduced themselves. Every question was answered. To call surgery a great experience is odd but this was a great experience.

Negative experience: Had a 230 appointment. Arrived early like I was told to do, so I can register. Was given a buzzer and had to wait to be called to register over 20 minutes. Then had to wait some more for my Ct scan. It was over 2 hours wait time. Longest I've ever waited. But the CT technician was very nice.

Negative experience: Tennova his hands down the worst medical group to deal with! I've been trying to get a yearly physical since the beginning of the year with Michael hibbs, he's either out sick on vacation or all their computers are down. Rescheduled appointments are 2 months out every time. At 40 minutes away from this clinic they wait till the last minute to call and cancel after I'm already on my way. Should be negative one star option

Fantastic experience: I would recommend Tennova Healthcare to anyone needing a procedure, especially Dr. Craig Ennis and his whole staff. I was especially nervous about the procedure, but the whole staff at Tennova, including gastroenterology, anesthesiology, nurses, etc. were wonderful and calmed my fears and treated me with respect and kindness.

Negative experience: I went to ER because my Tennova Dr. would not see me until end of month . I was in the ER for over 10 hours they kept drawing blood but telling me nothing. I was admitted at 1:00am Sunday. I was not given any food or drink. Because the incompetent lack of communication they forgot to erase the last patient who had heart surgery and I was refused food and water because the off going nurse did not do her job. The oncoming nurse I had to make her call the Dr. so I could eat.

Negative experience: I took my 18 month old to the Sango ER.. horrible customer service!! The nurse sitting behind the desk (back in the actual patient area) was so rude, I wanted to walk out just speaking with her! horrendous wait time, and again that’s not even in the waiting room!! Receptionist was perfect! Everything else, -5!

Fantastic experience: Even though their computers were down when I got to Tennova for a CT scan, they got me in and out in an hour. Pretty impressive I think! Did I mention how nice everyone was? I was very satisfied with the experience!

Negative experience: My experience in the ER was better than most times I have been there, however when I was finally admitted Dr.,Jad**v and Ibra**m were truly rude and dismissive of my situation and feelings. I felt unheard and was even told that basically nothing was wrong with me and I shouldn’t even need to be admitted. The neurologist in the ER was absolutely amazing and like mentioned above he listened and did everything to try to put me at ease.

Fantastic experience: I know Tennova has a bad rap, however, I wanted to share my experience from today. I guess it really started yesterday. Unfortunately, I do not know the ladies name who helped schedule the appointment. She was so polite and helpful. I also can not remember the lady who registered me but she too was amazing. Today, I went in and had a Venous ultrasound on my leg to check for clots. The young lady at the front desk De’Aira (I hope I spelled this correctly) was so polite and helpful. She provided amazing customer service and her energy was excellent. I’m leaving this review not only for De’Aira but for Mike the vascular tech who did my ultrasound. I can’t put into words how comfortable I felt in his presence. He put my mind to ease when I really wanted to cry from the fear I was feeling. From his stories about his children or his previous job, it felt like a friend. It felt nothing like a Dr appointment, which was a relief. I hope this positive review makes it to the people who matter and I hope that both are made aware of the difference they made this morning.

Negative experience: I preregistered for my mammogram. Arrived 20 minutes early for 10:30 appointment. Computers were down. Had to fill out form again. 3 people ahead of me. They all are called back and then leave. The office goes to lunch. Another person comes in and after a bit asks me what was going on. About 11:45 a tech is in the office and asked the lady her name then her appointment time which was 12 something. I got up and told her that mine was 10:30. She started looking fro my paperwork and shortly called me back. She takes me into the bone density testing room. Tell her I am there for a mammogram. She was very kind and provided me with an extra gown as it was freezing in the room. When I left I told the desk that it was a good thing I had gotten up on the right side of the bed as I had been there 2 hours and 20 minutes! I think they were really hungry for lunch. Make note that I was in plain view from the office window. This is not good!

Fantastic experience: I have been fortunate enough to have been referred to Tennova Wound Care and I am thankful for it. A lower leg wound that wouldn’t heal was worsening by the day. It was immediately diagnosed, a treatment plan coordinated and implemented. Dr. George Valentini and his team are marvelous! All of the office staff and medical staff are friendly and helpful. They are professional and highly skilled. The specialized treatment and care is unique to wound care practice which I was unfamiliar with. I firmly believe they saved my leg! I highly recommend Tennova Wound Care.

Fantastic experience: This was actually the best experience I've had at Tennova , the nurses were great , I was there because I had pneumonia, the emergency room was even tolerable, except for the beds , so hard , I was there from Thursday night to Tuesday and everything went fine , the doctor was great .

Fantastic experience: I recently had surgery at Tennova in Clarksville. My wife and I were both impressed with the efficiency, timeliness, care, compassion and willingness of the staff to inform, listen and comfort me in what was the most challenging healthcare procedure I had ever had. They called to check on me at home and reiterated to call if I had any questions about the recovery process or changes in my progress. I wouldn't hesitate to return for any needs in the future. Surgeons get the Glory, but the anesthesiologists was a gem and I have to give a spcl Thank 'yous' to the 3 RN's that cared for me, Cindy, Samantha and Stephanie. Thank You ! ❤

Fantastic experience: I didn't have any problem whatsoever for this appointment! I got there early and they took me back in less than 5 minutes! I was impressed! Didn't take long for someone to come in and get test under way! I wasn't there very long! Very happy with this visit!

Negative experience: It is absolutely ridiculous for a hospital to be so terrible and in my opinion they have not gotten better at all. Everytime my husband goes there it is such a bad experience. He was sick so yesterday and called the ambulance to pick him up. He got there and sat in the editing room for hours with no treatment. Finally good later they run his visits and say there is nothing wrong. Well that was not true and he tried to tell them he didn't feel right at all. They literally had the security guard come and kick him out because he was refusing to leave without being helped. He gets home tried to rest and instantly becomes incoherent. He is rushed back to the hospital so to finally find out he is going into DKA. This is so infuriating. They don't care about the patient's lives. We literally have to drive my husband to Vanderbilt just got him to get the treatment that he needs. It's scary dealing with such an unstable illness and when you can't rely on your local hospital or is for right terrifying. I can not stand tennova. Worst hospital I've ever experienced

Fantastic experience: I had a MRI completed on September 30, 2024. I was anxious and concerned about this procedure. The entire experience from checking in, speaking with the nurse, as well as the technician w as completed with professionalism and politeness. I was very satisfied after the procedure and my anxiousness and concerns were put to rest. I would recommend Tennova Healthcare for any medical procedure needed.

Positive experience: I was impressed with the kindness of the employees! A little confusion with the Dr’s orders. I was there for ultrasound on leg and they pulled my LAST order several years ago for a mammogram. But they got it worked out and I had a good experience.

Negative experience: Never had a problem here till our run in with so called Dr. Charles wren, your absolutely pathetic and a sorry Dr. we bring my son in who is clearly having trouble breathing and really sick and you make a smart comment to my father in law “we can wait and let him sit for hours and check him again later”. How bout you just do your job and get over yourself.

Fantastic experience: I had a fall at home, and I was very pleased with the care I received in the ER. I was there in 2018 for food poisining, and the ER has improved tremendously since 2018. I'm not sure if the personnel or management has changed, but there is definitely a greatly improved ER.

Fantastic experience: I was sent to Tennova by my Primary care Doctor. I arrived on Friday afternoon and stayed in the ER until Sunday afternoon. My heart was in Afib. The nurses and staff were very kind to me and kept apologizing because there were no beds available on the floor.

Fantastic experience: I will start of by saying I’m 38 and never had any surgeries. So I was worried but they did give me anesthesia so I was out. The nurses and doctor was really professional and friendly.

Fantastic experience: They said I had to be the 2 hours before my procedure and is sat in the waiting area about 90 minutes. Was a waste of time. On a positive note everyone was very nice and things went smoothly once I got into the prep room!

Fantastic experience: Went in for a x-ray. No appointment needed. I got to pick day and time most convenient for me (loved that!). After going through registration, which took about as long as getting called back for the x-ray!!! The two girls were courteous and very friendly!!! Made my trip to Tenova a pleasant ☺️ one!!!

Negative experience: I would give them a negative 5 star if the option is there. First of, I live 3 hours away from this hospital. They contacted me at 6 am and told me that I need to come to the hospital to sign my son out since it was the safety care plan they come up with. I arrived at Tenova hospital and first impression, the lobby was dirty, blood splatter on the glass where registration is. I told the lady at the registration that I am there to pick up my son and she replied that your son circumstances he can't have visitors and that I can not go back. I told her that I am there to pick him up not to visit. Her attitude is very sassy. If you are not happy with your job, find something else. I would not recommend this hospital. If you need medical care go somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: I was treated by Tennova starting from the check in to check out very professionally. Everyone was great to deal with. The nurse in the imaging and the assigned nurse were awesome. They made me feel comfortable with every step of my process. Everything was well explained. I was in and out in 3 hours. I would recommend anyone to them to receive a stress test. A friendly reminder to future patients: 1. Listen to what the doctor says 2. If you take blood pressure pills, you can take them before attending your appointment. If you are on Bata-blockers your doc. is correct in saying to not take those. 3. No caffeine prior to appointment 4. Be patient. The test process does take up to 3 hours. 5. The staff have more patients to handle and not enough nurses. They did a great job with me. I was amazed how they handled the patient load. They were really busy while I was their.

Fantastic experience: Had all great nurses through labor and delivery as well as postpartum. They sent me home with essentials needed to help me heal and recover. Couldn’t have been more pleased with the service and support that these staff members have provided during my stay.

Positive experience: All but one of the people I came in contact with were great. Even in the despicable ER, everyone was very pleasant. When I got upstairs, everyone was great, save one. I so appreciate all the help I received from everyone there. You’re in such a vulnerable position that it’s important for people to remember that we’re human beings. We will all end up in a hospital bed.

Negative experience: I had to rush my wife to the hospital Saturday night. She had heard horror stories from long-time residents of Clarksville, but I thought they were exaggerating and took her to the hospital with an open mind. Upon entering the emergency room waiting area, I quickly realized that there were probably some truths about the hospital. The waiting room was extremely cold as if they couldn't afford to turn on the heat. There were people lying around with sheets, someone in there with an IV, people sitting around with IV parts hanging out of their arms, someone who got an IV while sitting in the waiting area, trash all over the floor, and just a host of other concerns. Due to the state of my wife's emergency, she was sent back to a room for screening..., but after running test, some unnecessary in my opinion, she was sent back to the waiting area also with IV parts hanging out of her arm. We soon learned that people had been in there for 6+ hours just waiting. My wife's pain increased, and after speaking up about not having any pain management, they brought us back inside - this time to hang out on a bed in the hallway right by the emergency room door. Seven hours later after watching total mayhem in the hallway, we were told that we could go home, but not before paying $100. Mind you, we have insurance, and I can only imagine what the insurance company is being billed. I would add that the staff was extremely friendly, which is the only reason for 2 stars, but SHAME on the administrators for running such a horrible hospital. I've seen better field hospitals than this in the Army. The staff actually has shirts that read, "Nacho average hospital." If we ever have another emergency, I will be driving to Kentucky or Nashville as this hospital is not an option.

Negative experience: My provider has not received my XRay yet, 1 week tomorrow. I waited over 2 hours for something this simple. The tech was going to do the wrong side. I had to stop her so the correct side was done, still no results.

Fantastic experience: I had a really good experience at the Women’s Health Clinic. I was nervous because I had a bad experience (not in Tennessee). The office environment was friendly and professional. The lady that did my mammogram talked me through the entire process and made me feel comfortable.

Negative experience: If i could give this place no stars I would. Had my grandmother seen if you’d like to call it that. Waited four hours for her results not once did any doctor come in. Heard the nurses talking about not knowing their “baby daddy” who got her pregnant. Heard another nurse talking about how these phones won’t shut up. Obviously not knowing if it’s a life or death situation on the other end of the line. If you are not there to try to make a difference don’t be there. The cleanliness was absolutely disgusting. The guy at the counter looked like he absolutely hates his job even though he just calls back to find out if people can have visitors. I WILL NEVER go back nor do I recommend anyone else to go there. Definitely need a second and more professional hospital. I never write reviews but this was one for the books.

Negative experience: I went for a Mammogram a couple of days ago at Tennova. The clerk taking my information had the most welcoming smile and was so very nice and sweet. The technician who performed the "evil deed" lol, was also very nice and put me at ease. I was comfortable. Both women were professional and nice. I would recommend Tennova to other women for this procedure.

Negative experience: Kind nursing staff . But they don’t give a damn about anyone and will take as many breaks and lunches during your visit as they can. Waiting four hours on a xray to return, bc they’ve chosen to have lunch and leave us here is unprofessional. I’d literally never call 911 in Clarksville Tennessee unless I’m dying. And even then I’m certain they’d leave me to die. Avoid this place BY ANY MEANS

Positive experience: My experience wasn’t that great. Didn’t know where to check in. Got sent in circles. Then after my mammogram I was told to wait for imaging but when I sat there waiting the lady tried to chastise me for being where I was told by staff to sit lol. I left after that. I’ll try again another day. I’m hoping it was an off day and next time won’t be so bad.

Negative experience: Well I arrived at 703 am at Tennova today to bring my mom for a procedure . Never again will I even walk in the hospital. Ridiculous rude worker at the front desk to the left . I asked where a wheelchair was then asked if she was going to help me get one of them from around the back of the counter area her response lol this is a hospital mam not a hotel . Should have know that’s how your treated from a second class hospital you want excellence you truly need to go to nashville period .

Positive experience: If this were for the ER I'd have to give a minus 5 because I've nearly died there three times over the last ten years, only to be saved by my family taking me on to St. Thomas and Vanderbilt after being sent home from Tennova. Once, I needed immediate emergency surgery to save me from dying by ischemic bowel. I presented with severe pain and was only semi conscious. The Tennova ER resident said I was constipated and had a touch of viral pneumonia. Neither were true. The second time, I arrived by ambulance after passing out at a friend's house. My daughter told them I was a severe NON- diabetic hypoglycemic person and had had some sweet tea that must have caused an insulin surge. Their ER doc declared to the staff I was diabetic and had had too much insulin despite my daughter's telling them that was not true. I was put on a glucose drip, (which was correct regardless) only to have this stopped so they could take blood an hour later, and the drip was never started again, so my blood sugar got so low over the next six hours as I continued to lay unconscious in the ER that I went into cardiac arrhythmia, and had to be shocked. I was later set to go the CICU, when my family asked about the drip being off. It was immediately restarted. I regained consciousness the next day still at the ER, and left with a now damaged heart that should never have been touched. Now - aside from the ER, which I wish they could sell to St. Thomas or Vanderbilt I have had almost all excellent care. The radiology, and Interventional radiology staff are excellent. My Vanderbilt specialist uses Tennova's radiology department regularly and I've had numerous CAT scans, MRIs and several interventionist procedures there including closing a wound fistula and spinal injections. 5 stars.***** The wound care clinic: also 5 stars. ***** They cared for me weekly for 18 months for 1) my massive ischemic bowel surgical incision (31cm) that needed to heal from the inside out, and 2) third and third-plus degree scald burns on 50% of my left thigh and leg that happend while I was still recovering from #1. Fantastic, personable, professional people. I would have never believed I would heal so well. The Women's Breast Health Center. 5 stars ***** Always busy, they do manage to squeeze everyone in without losing their cool. Mammograms are never fun, but they take the time to make them as comfortable as possible and always follow up faster than my GYN. I can't give the med/surg nursing floors a great grade but I was only in them twice. The problem wasn't so much the nurses or med techs. They were just overworked on 12 hour shifts, and understaffed. The bed I was assigned was broken the whole first week I was in it and the bloody center bar stayed shoved up my back causing me immense suffering. My husband finally went to the supply people with my visiting neurologist and got a better one. They had received no request from the floor for a replacement they said. Of course the floor said this was not true. Labor and Delivery: four stars **** The only trouble we had at the excellent L&D dept was a lack of nurse anesthetists for the number of women present when my daughter gave birth to our granddaughter in 2014. By the time the NP got to my daughter, it was too late to give her an epidural. She delivered and had a vaginal tear without any pain medication. All in all I think Tennova, as a private, for-profit hospital is okay: three stars *** not counting their less than desireable ER. They really should not be the only hospital in Montgomery county for the population. I will continue to take my emergency needs to St Thomas. Maybe one day Ascension will put a hospital in Clarksville and put Tennova out of business. There's a lot of great staff could use working for a better company.

Negative experience: This hospital is absolutely filthy. If I can figure out how to attach pictures I would. I am in the emergency room with my mother, and I have never seen a more filthy hospital than this. And the man that came up to take my mom down for a CAT scan was absolutely so rude.

Negative experience: I came in because I felt very weak by emergency vehicle. My blood was taken and they put me in a waiting room for 3 hours before attempting to start an IV. I had to ask for one as I was starting to feel more weak. The blood test I had came back fine and they sent me home with an antibiotic. I didn't even feel safe leaving because I felt almost the same leaving. I wish for Tennova to change their protocol about sending people off based on what blood work says. I feel further testing could have been done but they just sent me away. It's called healthcare for a reason.

Fantastic experience: I was at the hospital to get some tests recently. I was in a time crunch because I had a doctor's appt soon after. Tony in Respiratory was able to get me in early. He was very professional and knowledgeable. Betty and Cheryl at the DI desk quickly got Jason in DI to get my x-ray done. Jayden in the lab was able to get my blood drawn in a timely manner so I could make my appt at the doctor's office. This was the smoothest and most professional visit I have ever experienced at Tennova. These employees know how to treat each patient with respect and care. I felt like I was the only patient there that day. Thank you for stepping up Tennova.

Fantastic experience: Went for a colonoscopy. Dr, anesthesiologist, and entire staff involved were pleasant, professional, and efficient. Sent me a card with good wishes and signatures. Very nice and timely. My wife had an MRI resently and found her experience to be as good as mine.

Negative experience: If I could give a zero I would. Hands down the worst hospital ever. I’m 21 weeks pregnant. Went in the ER at 1:30pm complaining of lightheartedness and shortness of breath. Stayed in triage for an 1hr. Moved to isolation which is just curtains separating patients. Sat there for 45 min before they drew my blood. Found out I needed a blood transfusion. Moved to an exam room still on the ER floor. Told I would be going to L&D. Never made it. Then told I would be getting in a regular private room. Never made it.. didn’t start getting transfused until about 8:30pm. Kept saying the hospital was full. Never moved to room. Slept in the ER. Had an ultrasound. Never told the results. Never hooked up to a baby monitor. Asked for food at 7:00am. Order was made for them to get my food order until 8:15am. They brought me sprite and crackers as if that would do anything. I don’t even drink soda. Didn’t come to check my blood until 8:30. Asked me what time I had my last bag. Can’t understand why they wouldn’t have kept a record of that themselves. Currently waiting to get results from test so I can go home. Completely unorganized. Nurses show no real concern on the ER floor. Will never come to this hospital again. Nurses talk about you right outside your room as if you can’t hear them. The lack of care and concern is definitely there. Just not a good hospital. Definitely wouldn’t recommend anyone pregnant to come here. I will take the trip to Springfield for sure next time.

Fantastic experience: I had an MRI done. The technician was friendly and professional. I was taken back exactly at my appointment time. However, the registration process is a involved, more than it needs to be, in my opinion. Just to register took over 20 minutes, plus wait time from when I spoke with the technician at the front desk, to the time I actually spoke with the registration clerk. It was almost as involved as if I were having surgery! I've had MRIs done at other places and, in comparison, this registration process seemed excessive.

Negative experience: I will NEVER go to this hospital again! The facility needs to be shut down. Mario was very disrespectful as well as Leslie H. They both work on the 5100 floor. Riley Carlos and Kari was amazing. I had to call multiple times about my prescription it was a hot mess and I do not recommend anyone ever coming if you don’t have too!

Negative experience: This was my first time at Tennova and I was not pleased with registration at all. Had I not been there to make sure I didn’t have a blood clot, I would have left! I have never gone for imaging or any procedure at a hospital and told #1, you have to provide a credit/debit card to place on file to pay, #2, I have NEVER been told I could NOT pay more than the payment arrangement because I did not want to prolong the remaining amount for 8 months, instead, I would have liked to have it paid off within a month. Per the registration tech, that was decided by the financial advisor, who by the way ONLY communicated through the registration tech and not conversing directly with me. Not to mention, no one called to even inform me of the amount due, which I was prepared and knew it would be high due to my insurance just starting over and deductible had not been met.

Fantastic experience: I had a knee replacement at Tennova Same Day Surgery. The Staff and Nurses were very professional and treated me with kindness and tended to my needs in every way. From the pre-op classes and registration process through to the follow-up after I came home, I have no complaints about the entire process or the departments involved. The facility was clean and every effort was made to protect my safety and to keep my family informed of my well-being during my procedure and recovery. It was a very positive experience for me.

Fantastic experience: I had to have surgery for a hernia. My doctor was Francis. From the time I walked into Tennova til I left I was treated with nothing but respect and kindness. My nurse was Sonia and I can say she was fantastic, she explained everything with me from when I needed to get my IV to the meds they were giving me and what to expect. Sonia made me relax at a time when I was nervous, I couldn’t have asked for a better nurse. After surgery she was there to help me with my paperwork and discharge. From the anesthesiologist to my doctor and the nurses who took care of me made this experience a little better considering I was nervous and having surgery and no one looks forward to that, but they made it a little easier for me. Just once again want to thank Sonia for being such a wonderful nurse and a special person. God bless the doctors and nurses that took care of me.

Fantastic experience: I was treated with the most outstanding respect by all that I encountered. The girl that drew my blood in the out patient lab is to be commended. She was great & I didn’t even feel her stick. I’m very very difficult to find a vein but she had no problem.

Positive experience: I was admitted to Tennova Hospital for a bleeding issue. I was admitted to the ICU Step-Down Unit, I loved all my nurses and aides. I had to have 3 blood transfusions and I was very anxious about them as I have never had to have one before. The Nurses were very understanding and knowledgeable and was able to keep my anxiety down. Dr. Afflick is a wonderful Doctor….he explains everything straightforward and in terms that non-medical people can understand. A huge thank you to everyone who participated in my care while I was there.

Negative experience: Waiting in the ER for 7 hours so far (in the waiting room). My wife and I have gotten two reasons why my 80 year old mother-in-law who has severe back pains and is dehydrated for the delay. This is unacceptable. Shouldn't happen, but only in 3rd world countries. The waiting room is a mess (see the pictures). If someone would give me a broom I would sweep all this stuff (being nice) up. I bet someone who works here or with connections this wouldn't happen.

Fantastic experience: I applaud the doctors and nurses at Tennova Hospital. I had never dealt with them before but in having two surgeries in barely over a month, I was taken good care of by everyone involved with me. All were good and only one RN was slightly negative. The Techs were great, as well. Both of my surgeons did a great job for me.

Fantastic experience: I had an MRI done and i had an allergic response to the dye that was injected. The way that the department and the Rapid Response Team was top notch. They were all so efficient and coordinated in their efforts to treat me. Not only were they professional but each one of them made a point to individually come and check on me before i was discharged.

Fantastic experience: Couldn’t have been better. The radiology department deserves kudos for sure. They communicate caring and patient focused interactions. This done from check in with them. I had a bone scan with a CT another day. I asked if they might possibly do my CT while I was there. They worked this out. Saved me a trip back. All staff helpful & professional.

Fantastic experience: My dad was in Tennova for 10 days after a UTI infection that lead to a slip and fall. Everyone was fantastic but especially the nurses who went above and beyond to take care of my dad. 10 stars!!
