Positive experience: We haven't actually started counseling yet, but so far the experience with their system has been nothing short of obnoxious. First appointment you'll get several text messages asking you to fill things out, every day, multiple times a day, until the day of. Once you think you've already filled everything out- surprise! You have more to fill out. I am honestly really scared that we will have to do this every time. But considering this is the only place we can even find who is willing to do in-person sessions and takes Tricare, we are giving it a shot. We actually already cancelled the first time we had an appointment, because in the midst of going through some really hard things in our marriage and our lives all at the same time, already doing very poorly emotionally, the last thing I want to deal with is being harassed to fill things out over and over and over again. The only reason we came back is because everywhere else we tried would only do zoom, and never mentioned that until the day before the appointment we scheduled, and I refuse to do therapy over a screen. So here we are. I will update the review once I know how it goes after we start. But so far, it's not been a positive first impression.

Fantastic experience: Morgan has extraterrestrial capabilities to look into your soul. I feel comfortable sharing some of the darkest moments in my life with her. Unlike the VA, where I feel everything I say can and will be used against me.

Fantastic experience: I went into therapy not expecting much out of it considering my problems were minimal- but after opening up a few cans of worms with my therapist, Mark, I was able to bring my overall anxiety down immensely across multiple factors of my life. We touched on things like work, money and health (which were my main concerns). He was very practical which was something I prefer, rather than just ranting to someone, I appreciated that he actually gave me things to try to do and goals to work towards, something tangible. He helped me learned how I best navigate my own anxieties in my head as well as how I can elevate anxieties when it comes to health, finances and work. It was all about finding what works for me personally. The conversations felt very on point and never strayed too far from the issues at hand, while also leaving room for some casual remarks in between to make it feel not so structured which I appreciated as well. Overall I feel that Mark helped me set a fresh foundation for my life from here on out which will help me immensely and it’s greatly appreciated! If you’re like me and just want to do therapy for every day anxieties I highly recommend, you would be surprised what you can uncover about yourself.

Negative experience: Ariel (a receptionist i assume) talks to clients in a condescending tone as if I'm below her for wanting to get help You'd think the Cohen Clinic hires people that are passionate about their field, and not just there to collect a paycheck. Ariel treats people like a number instead of a person and her unnecessarily snarky attitude does not align with the values of the Cohen Clinic Shoutout to Mark though! He's a solid guy all around and, unlike Ariel, he's actually passionate about his profession.

Negative experience: Came in with my wife to receive marriage counseling. The therapist insured that anything that was said inside the meetings would be confidential and not held against us or our continued therapy (if nothing of self harm or harming someone else came up). That sure wasn't the case. There was something brought up about our marriage during a session (again, nothing violent) and we were promptly kicked out within the week. I'm not a guy to open up, but I did with these "therapists" and was punished for it. I've had therapists on Fort Campbell do better than this place and if you're a veteran, you know what I mean. If I could give this place zero stars, it wouldn't be enough.

Negative experience: IF I COULD GIVE "0" STARS, I WOULD IN A HEART BEAT. They try to get you to feel comfortable enough to open up about your REAL life struggles and problems.. ONLY to get NO help whatsoever with any of my issues, AND kicked out of any remaining sessions I had. You are better off dealing with your real life problems on your own (or with a mental health care center that genuinely cares about you, what you are going through, and your mental health). If your lifes "too much" you will be left to deal with it all on your own and kicked out of the clinic!!! I swear this is still unbelievable to me, i can't believe you can get kicked out for telling someone what you are going through in life!!.. The point in going here & talking to someone is to get help, to better yourself, and or move past tramas you may have experienced in life, etc. ... and they did NONE of that in any way shape or form. Extremely disappointed and let down. Previously recommended this place to many other people/families and will 100% let them know what happened, give my own personal explanation on why people shouldn't go there or even open up 100% to them, and we will no longer recomend this place to anyone nearby. Caring, listening, trying to help, and being there is all I (or anyone) wants when seeing someone like this. I don't want anyone else to ever regret opening up about tramas, or just life ingeneral.. It shouldn't be a punishment going through all the trials and tribulations you may have gone through or experienced throughout your life (especiallyyyyyy if it's things in life that people may have done 2 you, and u had no control over in any aspect).. and this place 1 million % makes you feel like you will be punished if your lifes too crazy or whatever the case may be. I really didn't want to do a review, but the more I thought about it and talked about it with others, the more I feel punished and betrayed by this place and NEVER want anyone else to feel how I do. People should seek help, people should be open, especially to a mental health clinic! I truly want to see this place care more and do better because if they did this 2 me and left me out to dry once I started talking about my real life, then how many others have they done that to, and or will potentially do that to in the future. If you need REAL true help, this is not the place.. At least, right now. Praying they fix this problem and do better for their clients. We need places like this in life and I don't want something like this happening to someone who NEEDS help and is left all alone after finally opening up to someone, it's hard to get deep with someone you don't know so if someone let's you in, don't make them regret it to the point they never ask for help again. It's important people feel safe enough to ask for help and seek it, this place needs to do better at doing so forsure. Now, as for me.. I'm not sure if I'll EVER, EVERR, EVER open up to anyone again after this!!!!..Raither it's a different mental health clinic, family, friends, or even strangers. I was shown (from this place) that my lifes too much for others..But I'm hoping this review will help & keep them from maybe possibly doing this to someone else who genuinely wants or needs to talk to someone.

Fantastic experience: Best place for therapy

Negative experience: Google review is just like this clinic- unprofessional and incompetent at its Best. Furthermore, this place is so ridiculously downright awful. It is true in the reviews from the past. Cannot give a ZERO, so instead I had to give this one for the review in No Effort using therapists. Cannot see how this place is still holding up. They make you feel easy going at first, then things change later on during week out sessions. I guess the founders were trying to do a good deed, but then they hire the family to keep it running. Bad idea.. My problem was w/ the therapists and disgusting leadership here. How is it that you discontinue services for no Real reason?? You have scheduled days for visits once a month and lie trying to contact when you know it’s not true. This therapist girl pushed back appt two weeks instead of weekly appts and say we failed to complyWho does that when we were told it’s weekly sessions? Well.. it’s a good thing for Evidence when you need it. In case you didn’t know my phone records conversations. So that last phone call got all info on how things w/ this place really went down. And.. who bribes you to get a $5 dollar Walmart gift card??!.. for services no matter what services provided you just do you best @ the “title” degree you have.. oh, Unlike this one..This girl Brianna bitt bitt Brittany whatever her name is and the so called Stephanie girl are the worst. I see why the last reception person left. These goons act like clowns, and don’t care about anyone but themselves.. they look up certain info and call it their resources.. it’s on the internet goof troops. So.. I guess the tornado and snow were reasons you didn’t communicate on a timely manner, and this is the only excuse you can give to end sessions. I did my part better than you, and I’m glad the light shown on how this place really handle things in unprofessional manner. I also guess they do get mad or feel some way if visiting their office isn’t more accessible and convenient for them. Home visits were durable.. easy and made sense then driving way over there having to make my daughter even more late for school. My daughter cared more about school then coming there. And.. to add on to her sessions, she wasn’t comfortable w/ the awkward conversations this girl therapist put her in. She’s not in a damaged home or w/ parents who beat her in case you don’t get that in the beginning of conversing w/ us. At least my husband was right. I shouldn’t have contacted these has beens in the first place. And.. now I see the truth in past reviews. I’m glad the service was discontinued for us. Not mad just expressing things. I see why you still have the 13 old reviews.. Please citizens who live in this city, go elsewhere and do yourself a Huge favor.. shop around and discern your own best places to handle Professional business for your child mental health. Clarksville and this place just isn’t it.

Fantastic experience: I just finished my treatment today and I absolutely recommend this clinic. Every time I was treated with compassion, and I felt so comfortable here. I am forever grateful to the clinic and my counselor, Melissa. Thank you for helping me become a better version of myself and work through my trauma.

Negative experience: If you have the need for a service dog or an emotional support animal for a diagnosed health condition with an extensive history, they will not write you a letter or complete disability paperwork. They also will not show you the policy against it or write a letter stating that they cannot complete the paperwork. I was given an excuse about not being licensed to complete the forms or the letter. It makes me question their licensure to be able to provide services at all. Please save yourself the trouble and find another clinic or medical provider.

Negative experience: Absolute garbage. Business conducted in an unprofessional incompetent manner. Harassing in nature. Go somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: I was referred here via military one source and was assigned to Morgan Pospisil. She helped me tremendously and I would recommend her services to anyone struggling with anxiety or depression. Their virtual services are wonderful for those with busy schedules or limited transportation.

Fantastic experience: If You Are Serious about Getting Help and Overcoming anything in your Life... this is the Best Place too Start and Thee most Profoundly Lovable and Professional Staff i have ever had in my Recovery Process and Very Fortunate as well for the “ Gate-Keepers” Veterans Peer Group and it is A Amaizing Place to be able to Meet Other Veterans and Realizing we each have our own Story and Are Not Alone and Can Vent what bugs us with other Veterans with no “judgement “ and this is a God Blessings!! And Sure wish other clinics could Get this kind if Perception and Follow thru in the CARE Philosophy!! Thanks, Blessings

Negative experience: This place treated my son awful. He has PTSD and because he had alcohol in his system they stopped all his meds abruptly which is why people go nuts. Go figure. Heartless heartless. The psychiatrist sucks.
