AHC West Tennessee Transitional Care

Fantastic experience: My brother was a patient for 6 weeks. His nurses, Sue and Lisa, were quick to respond when he needed help or if I had questions. They arranged travel for doctor's appointments he had off site. He was extremely weak when he first arrived, and Jackie helped him shave. He appreciated this so much. His physical therapists were patient and focused on his progress. He only complained about one meal during his stay. Overall, he said the food was really good. His room was always clean, and his bed linens were changed frequently. They washed his clothes daily during his stay. I am grateful for the excellent care he received.

Fantastic experience: My therapists are extremely knowledgeable, more than competent, and caring with an eye on incremental improvements. The men and women work diligently both individually and collectively. They work together with an extremely high degree of synergy, as well as, independently. they remain highly acute to incremental progress and adjust treatments to maximize results to efforts put forth. A very special ''Thank You" to Emily, Jase, and Rose for their dedication and unwavering commitment toward maximizing results in a compassionate environment. CJ is a recent addition to the gym's staff and has the same qualities that make up this great team! A huge shout out to all employees associated with the West TN Transitional Care facility located in Jackson TN. Should you ever be in need of a rehabilitation facility as I did, I highly recommend your recovery include the care, attention, knowledge, professionalism in each aspect (Nursing, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, patient care personnel, Housekeeping, Dee and all the Dietary and kitchen staff, Receptionists, and Administration).

Fantastic experience: I was at Transitional for about 3 months. I am not going to say everything was easy but it was so worth it. Therapy was hard but the therapists was very nice and they was always cheering you on. I really enjoyed activity time. We did everything from making a button tree to making bird food hangers to hang food on trees. The activity director is awesome and very creative and a worthy adversary in playing dominoes! I will truly miss the aides, directors ,nurses, therapy people and everyone else that was so nice to me.
