Dr. Joel, a Savannah, TN native, received his degree from Life Chiropractic College in Atlanta, Georgia in 1990. Durham Chiropractic was established November 2000, soon after Dr. Joel’s return to west Tennessee from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. His love of sports, fitness, and a healthy lifestyle motivated him to pursue a second degree, this time with the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians, earning him the title Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician in 2002. Dr. Joel is a servant at heart. As well as being an active member of the Tennessee Chiropractic Association, Dr. Joel has served on their Board of Directors, and is a proud alumnus of Leadership Jackson. Durham Chiropractic has been awarded the coveted Chamber of Commerce Pinnacle Award for small business excellence, as well as a Civic Pride Award, and Reader's Choice Favorite Chiropractor.

Laurinda is our office manager as well as our insurance guru. A Lambuth University graduate, she has been on staff at Durham Chiropractic for over 10 years and loves her job here so much that she drives from Collierville now just so she can continue to be a part of our team!

A Jackson native, and Lambuth University graduate, Ashley may be the first person you encounter at our office. She brings enthusiasm and joy to everything she does, and is a delightful addition to our team.

Great bunch of people. More like friends and family than a doctor's office. i was told in 2005 that i would need to have back surgery to stop my pain. A friend introduced my to doctor Joel. After several visits and some time no more pain. No surgery and no mention of it. THANKS DOC!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I started going to Dr.D's office due to pinch nerves in my neck, I was scheduled to get an injection in my neck, but wanted to get therapy before I went. I felt so much better before getting the injection that the pain that I was going through was almost gone. Thank you for bridging the gap, before my scheduled procedure. Also thank you to Ashley & Melinda... awesome staff

Fantastic experience: Dr Durham is great! Very compassionate and caring. Under his care, my lower back and neck pain has decreased dramatically in a very short time. Staff is great too. I would recommend these folks without hesitation.

Fantastic experience: Dr.Durham, Ashley and Melinda are the best! I have never been to a chiropractor before Dr. Durham.But I definitely wish that I would have. If you want your issues fixed not covered up, this is the man to see. Today at my appointment i literally had tears of relief. I have always had neck pain issues that resulted in migraines. At this point I cannot remember the last time I even had a headache. He corrected my lower back issues and helped me to lift properly to avoid future injuries. They will always work to squeeze you i. If you need them. They are just wonderful. Stop taking medicine to cover up pain and get real help!

Fantastic experience: Durham Chiropractic has helped me for many years. I knocked my C7 forward in High School while working out with weights. Joel has removed discomfort from several parts of my body over the years. He is quite good!
