She identified the cause of my pain and spent time using several different methods to put me on the path to being pain free. She gave me exercises I can do at home and explained them thoroughly. Ellen is a gem and truly cares about her patients.

Fantastic experience: Just completed several months of PT with Dr. Clark and couldn't be more pleased. He truly listened and always explained everything in a way that made sense and I understood. I accomplished the goals I set with him and had a clear plan the entire time. I have had other PT experiences and will always come back to Mindset for any future needs. Fantastic experience: Dr. Hector and her staff are amazing! 7 months ago I had a ski accident that caused a torn ACL, torn meniscus and a fracture in my fibula. I’m a very fit and active person and I love to run. I was told surgery was the only way to fix my issue and my recovery would take at least a year. I got a second opinion at University of Michigan and was told to try physical therapy. Thanks to Dr. Hector I’m back to running and feeling strong with no surgery. She is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, kind and easy to work with. Thank you Mindset!

Fantastic experience: I have had a wonderful experience with Dr. Allyson and Mindset PT. I did PT with Dr. Allyson for five months to help treat and stabilize scoliosis, along with a laundry list of other issues. She is knowledgeable, professional, an absolute joy to spend time with, and a master problem solver. During the time we worked together, I went through a barrage of personal and health issues, but I have been able to stick with my program without getting discouraged or falling completely off track. I really needed the longer duration of physical therapy to establish a routine and see real improvement with so much going on in my life. I felt seen, heard, and respected, and Dr. Allyson always showed enthusiasm for working with me. I recommend Mindset PT to EVERYONE, but especially to people who feel like they may be headed to a hopeless place with their physical self. They made this affordable for me by spacing out sessions and offering visit packages. The facility is clean, airy, and beautiful. The vibe of the whole business is warm, friendly, and casually upbeat. With the nature of my physical conditions, I will always have to do physical therapy, and it felt really good not to receive a t-shirt or be congratulated for finishing the program. Instead, I feel free to make another appointment to get back on track should I fall off of it, need more ideas, or experience a problem. I'm sure it took Dr. Ellen a lot of courage to start a physical therapy practice that differs in so many ways from traditional physical therapy businesses, and I will always be grateful for that courage.
