At Borgess Place in Kalamazoo, MI our care teams help provide compassionate care for your loved ones. We offer Short-term Rehab and Skilled Nursing.

We offer both short-term post-acute rehabilitative care and long-term care. Because we're dedicated to addressing each resident's physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs, we've created a comfortable atmosphere that's welcoming to both residents and their families, and feels as much like home as possible. This includes our 6 outdoor courtyards complete with covered seating, flowers and vegetable gardens. We make every effort to ensure dining is pleasurable – both in the quality, nutrition and taste of the meal itself, and in the overall dining environment. Our staff activities director organizes social, spiritual, intellectual and creative activities in individual and group settings. And our Spiritual Care Department, which includes a board-certified chaplain and community volunteers, is dedicated to assisting with residents' spiritual needs and interdenominational services. We don't have set visiting hours. Instead, family and friends enjoy the convenience of visiting their loved one whenever they wish.

Fantastic experience: Good morning! So far I'm happy with the service and caring for my mom this far. I like the staff that is taking care of my mother and the food is good. I thank you for being a part of my family.

Fantastic experience: My 94 year old father was placed here for rehabilitation following a week long hospitalization. From the moment we arrived for his admission at 6:30 pm on a cold, snowy Friday night, we have been greeted and met with the most professional, kind, and caring staff. During his 16 day stay he was able to participate in therapy, join in group/resident activities, socialization and meals with fellow residents. Each and every staff from the ladies at the front desk when walking in the door to the CNA's, therapist, social work, Life Enrichment, nurses and administrative staff were all very kind and would do what they could to address questions or resolve any concerns or problems. I never encountered one staff person who was too busy to talk, help, or support us. Additionally, each resident we encounter was friendly, happy and easy to engage with. They would comment that although they would prefer to be home, they said it was nice there and the staff were good, which I attributed to them being happy. If you have to consider rehabilitation or nursing home care for your loved one, I would highly recommend considering Borgess Place. They have a 10 star rating from us!!

Fantastic experience: Seemed very clean & organized. Pleasant staff. You know I've seen some negative reviews about this facility but honestly...this place is miles ahead from the facility we did have my mom at. (Medilosge of westwood). So far the communication is better...the whole atmosphere is different in a good way

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this place my grandmother has been there for 4 years now she loves it and the staff. Every time I go to visit the staff is very polite and welcoming. My grandmother is always clean and you can tell that she is being cared. Thanks to everyone the family appreciate you all for what you do. I highly recommend :)
