Established in 1990 by Steve Sobojinski OTR, CSCS, Regina Sobojinski PT, and Patti Ahrens, Office Manager, Fox Valley Physical Therapy & Wellness Clinic has evolved into a 7,500 sq. ft. facility, boasting a therapeutic pool, and fully equipped gym. Our clinic specializes in one-on-one physical therapy, occupational therapy, athletic training, and various sports analyses. This Oshkosh based practice takes pride in delivering comprehensive and personalized care, in a private setting, to our community and beyond. Our satisfied patients are a testament to our commitment to excellence.

Treatment sessions vary from 30 minutes to two hours based on medical necessity. During treatment sessions, we help patients develop internal management of their problems through individualized home exercise programs and self-treatment techniques.

We work with the entire healthcare community, including area physicians, chiropractors, nurse practitioners, podiatrists, dentists, athletic trainers, insurance companies, and colleagues. We have developed beneficial relationships with these professionals as well. Because of these relationships, the patients' best interest is the center of care.

If the patient is not progressing or is showing signs of regression, our therapists are always available to speak with referral sources to decide if further testing, changes in the treatment plan, or discharge is necessary. These immediate actions save both the patient and the insurance company unnecessary medical expenses.

About Steve: Steve has been a Registered Occupational Therapist since 1988. Over the years being professionally involved in thousands of peoples' lives through patient care, achieving optimum health is the main priority with each and every one of them. "I treat their injuries as if they were my injuries." For myself and my family, I believe staying physically active during all seasons is key to good overall health and well being. Whether it is downhill or cross country skiing in the winter or biking, baseball, and boating in the summer with hunting and fishing in between, I love being outside in Wisconsin. My wife Regina and I started Fox Valley Physical Therapy in 1990 and are very proud and excited to be part of the medical community to this day and look forward to the future.

Areas of Interest: Because of my Division I baseball experience and years of semi-professional baseball, injuries to the shoulder and upper extremity are very intriguing. My entire career has been dedicated to learning how to rehabilitate all shoulder and upper extremity injuries. I have proudly shared thousands of patients with hundreds of top physicians for over 30 years as an Occupational Therapist. From athletes in industry to professional athletes we have gotten people back to work or back on the field allowing them to regain their livelihood. I've been blessed to be part of their lives.

About Regina: Regina has been practicing physical therapy since 1987, working in private practice. She and her husband started Fox Valley Physical Therapy in 1990.

Education: Bachelor of Science in Physical TherapyLSU - Medical Center, Shreveport, LA. 1987Thousands of hours of physical therapy, continuous education in manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise and neuromuscular reeducation of spine and extremities, McKenzie Institute training in different diagnosis and treatment.

Areas of Interest: Caring for patients of all ages with a variety of diagnosis due to injury, whether personal, athletic or work related. I do not believe people should "live with pain" and strongly reinforce "movement" combined manual therapy to assist in patient goals, manual therapy/myofascial release, muscle energy progressive exercise, neural mobilization, McKenzie Approach to evaluation and treatment of spine and extremities.

About Jordan: Jordan is originally from Chilton, WI but has spent the last 9 years living in Oshkosh. He is married to his wife Kaitlyn and they welcomed their first baby in June of 2023. He enjoys spending time with his dog, family, and friends and any outdoor activity, especially golfing, hiking, and skiing.

About Stephanie: She has been a physical therapist at FVPT since 2020. She is originally from Hortonville, WI, and is happy to provide PT services to members of her local community. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and loves participating in outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, and ice skating.

About Courtney: Courtney is originally from Ripon, WI, and excited to be practicing in a surrounding community. She is married to her husband, Clint, and enjoys hiking, walking her dogs, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Courtney also enjoys volunteering with her therapy dog, Cami, at local hospitals, nursing homes, and schools. Courtney's goal is to provide quality rehabilitation services to those in the community and surrounding areas. She strives to help patients achieve their goals and needs while meeting the diverse needs of patients.

Her areas of pediatric experience include torticollis, plagiocephaly, developmental delay, sensory integration, sensory processing disorder, autism, flat feet, toe walking, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, strengthening and endurance during cancer treatment, and sports-related injuries. Her areas of vestibular experience include concussion rehabilitation, positional vertigo, and balance difficulties.

About Jensen: Jensen is originally from Kaukauna, WI and is happy to be back treating her community close to family and friends. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, camping, line dancing and reading books.

About Darrick: Physical therapist assistant at FVPT since 2005. He is married to his wife Cara and has five children, Aaron, Finn, Lulu, Tripp, and Roni. In his spare time, he loves shifter kart racing, motorsports, and woodworking as a hobby. Darrick also likes spending time hunting pheasants and ducks in the fall with his dog Meg.

About Darren: Certified athletic trainer at FVPT since 1998. He has one daughter, Addison. He enjoys watching and playing sports, particularly basketball.

Areas of Interest: Evaluation and treatment of athletic injuries. Specializes in knee and ankle injuries. Sport-specific conditioning and personal training.

About Courtney: Physical therapist assistant at FVPT since 2015. She is married to her high school sweetheart Wally and has 2 children, Oliver and Logan. She enjoys spending time outside and being with friends and family; especially loves going to visit family in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan

Areas of Interest: Treats a wide variety of diagnoses through all ages. Enjoys treating shoulder and total knees, especially patients that need more aggressive treatment with range of motion.

About Debbie: Debbie grew up on Lake Superior's north shore, enjoying sailing, skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and swimming during her early years. She spent her secondary education years in the suburbs of Niagara Falls, NY and relocated to the Midwest after graduating high school. Married with 3 daughters, Debbie calls the Fox Cities home. She enjoys exploring new cities, the theatre, mission trips, roller coasters, tasting new cuisine, instructing group exercise classes and continues to enjoy outdoor activities. Do what moves you!

Areas of Interest: Debbie has long been fascinated with the human body, its intricate design and ability to heal itself. She has experience in the health insurance industry and now enjoys being part of the treatment side of healthcare. Debbie enjoys functional fitness that leads to healthy aging - meeting individuals where they are at in their recovery journey. She uses movement and manual techniques to safely release restrictions and improve mobility. Movement is medicine! Working on proper body mechanics, balance, strength, flexibility, self-care, and postural and movement awareness can lead to moving freely and without pain.

About Josie: Physical therapist assistant at FVPT since 2016.  She is married to her husband Kevin. She went through a lot of PT as a child and has always had an interest in helping people. She decided to go into PT to give back to her community.

About Lucie: Lucie is newly engaged to her fiance, Hayden. The live together in De Pere, WI with their cat, Boo. She enjoys spending time in Door County, especially when there's hiking or being on the water involved. She also loves running and has completed 8 half marathons. When she is not at the clinic, she enjoys singing around the Fox Valley area.

About Paula: Medical/billing Insurance Specialist at FVPT since 1993. Married to her husband Scott and has two daughters, Lindsey and Martina. She enjoys outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, and boating.

About Alexa: Alexa is originally from Richmond, Illinois but has spent the last 6 years living in Fond du lac. She was brought here by her recruitment to play on the Women's Softball team at Marian University in 2017 after playing the sport for 13 years. She enrolled in the career of being Business Administrator within the field of Healthcare. Alexa graduated in 2021 with many accomplishments in both athletics and academics. She enjoys spending time outdoors, giving softball lessons to future prodigies, traveling, and serving the Healthcare community.

About Bridget: Physical therapist at FVPT since 2019. She is originally from New London, WI and excited to be practicing in her local community. She is married to her husband Ethan and enjoys spending time with her dog, family, and friends. She is energized by outdoor activities, especially boating, hunting, and golfing. She feels blessed by being able to help individuals achieve their highest quality of living.

Areas of Interest: Evaluating and treating individuals with upper and/or lower extremity diagnoses. She enjoys working with individuals of all ages and activity levels. She will continue to specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of spinal problems with further study of the McKenzie Method. Another area of interest includes treating individuals with chronic pain through continued education in the pain neuroscience approach.

We are a provider for most insurances. You have direct access to a physical therapist. You do not need a referral to receive physical therapy. Some insurance companies require a diagnosis from your medical provider for coverage.

We have several high-value private pay options available for patients that do not have insurance or are out-of-network, have limited visits and/or coverage. Physical therapy services are a qualified expense for Health & Flexible Savings Accounts (HSA's & FSA's)

You do have a choice. If your physician finds that physical or occupational therapy is needed, we can help. We provide complete comprehensive treatment, work-specific re-training, and detailed education with the goal to return workers to their greatest level of function. Our office staff is available to coordinate with your case manager and make your rehabilitation from a work-related injury as stress-free as possible. For employers, we offer programs and services such as ergonomic training and work specific conditioning to prevent injury and cut unnecessary workers' compensation costs.
