It takes a village. I'm not all the way healed but now I have confidence I'll keep getting better.

I had over 40 visits here over the months following where I really got to know the team. I went from 10 steps to 15k steps with the help of them all.   This place is amazing if you need physical or respiratory rehabilitation.  I am in the health care business and was not even aware of "respiratory rehab", until my mom (Marge)... read more was referred for her COPD and Pulmonary Hypertension.  Dr. Cuomo has been great and keeps an eye on her and makes sure she is getting the services she needs. Tammy, the director has been very knowledgeable, and attentive. She was able to get my mom an hour massage each week which she never has had before and was unaware of the benefits to her movement and breathing.  They are helping my mom improve her lung capacity and become more aware of how to breathe correctly. Also, doing corrective movements to improve her strength and balance. All the therapists at the office have been very pleasant and knowledgeable. I am very thankful that my mom has a place like La Mesa Rehab - a very trustworthy place with healthcare workers that really care about their patients!!

You actually feel welcomed  very clean and very professional I used the H-wave and they made sure i got the most benefit from it by putting it different ways where the pain was. They actually care about there clients. I still continue doing streches at home to ease any tightness. Nothing but good things about them.
