Fantastic experience: An incredibly clean facility with wonderful caring staff who really care about their patients. I have experienced nothing but good things at CPA!

Negative experience: I spent about 2 1/2 weeks here following a shoulder replacement. The staff was fine and prompt when needed. I got covid while there along with about 10 others. Was confined to my room for 8 days. Don't know why...visitors allowed in, no mask required. Staff was to gown up, wear mask and gloves into room. Only therapy did and housekeeping. Big thing.. I lost 16 pounds because the food was so bad. Be sure and have friends and family bring you something to eat. Lots of frozen, not fresh. Sandwiches with no condiments. It was just really terrible. Won't go there again.

Positive experience: My husband spent nearly 6 months at Columbia Post Acute following extensive surgeries for poor circulation in lower extremities. I have nothing but the highest praise for the wound care he received. His wound care nurse saved his legs. Physical and occupational therapy sent him home able to do much of his own daily needs. Friendly, pleasant staff interaction. And the nicest facility I've ever seen.

Fantastic experience: Mt Dad was in the care of Columbia post acute for over 5 full months. Our experience there far exceeded any expectations that we might have had for a care facility. The entire staff was great to work with around the clock as well. His wound nurse, Felicia Thewlis, I give credit to for saving his leg after healing complications after leg bypass surgery. I give this facility the highest marks possible and they would be the first place that I would look to for any need of future care. Thank you, CPA! Bryan Reasoner

Fantastic experience: Wonderful Facility!! My 80 y/o mother spent about 3 weeks here after a massive surgery on her leg. The rehab they do is nothing short of miracle work. now 6 weeks post surgery she's home, not far from back to normal, and been release by her Dr. All contributed to excellent care at Post Acute. The facility is extremely clean, and the staff is friendly and make you feel at home. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: This facility is trash and their “nurses” are a joke.

Negative experience: RN was rude and had an attitude about answering my questions I had about my mother’s care. Will not recommend

Fantastic experience: After my heart surgery, I wanted a facility to stay at that would help me gain my strength and be able to attend to my medical needs. I did as much research that I was able, and made numerous phone calls. My stay of just over 2weeks made me realize this facility was the best choice I could have made. Columbia Post Acute facilities physical therapy staff were fantastic and put confidence into me to be able to achieve my goals. You could not have a better, friendlier staff of knowledgeable people to attend to your condition. Never was there a time when I pressed the button for assistance that my call wasn’t answered within a minute. The nurses were always helpful and friendly All of the staff are polite and courteous and friendly and willing to assist you Also, due to my very restrictive diet, the dietary staff did everything to assist my condition, and were just great. Columbia Post Acute facility will be my go-to place if I ever need a repeat visit. Thank you, John

Negative experience: The food menu served my husband was highly inappropriate for his diabetic condition; therefore, his sugar was consistently high which resulted in them regularly giving him additional insulin, rather than addressing the source of the problem, his diet. PT did an excellent job, professionally. For the most part, the staff was courteous and helpful. The gentleman who did laundry was outstanding.

Fantastic experience: Visited this place while out of town and it was very clean and residents had nothing but good things to say while visiting.

Negative experience: I will always regret taking my family member here. It is horrible. Please do not let it happen to yours. Nursing is so bad. I could write a book. I am still upset with this place. I really miss my dad and regret putting him in here. I cannot believe they are still in business after the abuse he suffered.

Fantastic experience: My wife had a couple of bad caretakers and was not totally satisfied on that stay and almost immediately had to go back, was put in another area, and is absolutely overjoyed with the way she is being treated I have witnessed on both stays, and she was absolutely right about both of them whatever your business is, you are going to have a bad apple or two no matter how hard you try to meet the standards that you expect ITotally recommend Post Acute.

Fantastic experience: Words can’t express the gratitude my family feels toward Columbia post acute. They went above and beyond what was expected and truly made our loved one feel at home. The nursing and administration are top notch! You might find a bigger facility in town but in now way will you find a place that takes as much pride in the care they provide and ensures their patients have EVERYTHING they need to heel. The facility and staff are truly the best anyone could ask for. Thank you post acute.

Fantastic experience: Great staff and quality care.

Negative experience: Pretty place nice large rooms with plenty of space, but unfortunately that's about where the good stops. In the time my grandfather was there the weekend staff was Just plain lazy did not want to do their jobs correctly. My grandfather is deathly Allergic to Tylenol and they gave him a medication with Tylenol in it and then flat out just tried to give him Tylenol, they do not pay attention to what is in the residents charts because if they did they would not have tried to give him Tylenol. Strongly do not recommend this place to anybody

Fantastic experience: My grandma spent the last 4 months at this facility! Our family can’t say enough about the excellent care she received. The staff are top notch and treat patients like family. The rehab is amazing there. My grandma spent her last days there before she passed and could not be more pleased with the great care she received all the way up to her last day. Fantastic experience: Really enjoyed having our loved one in this facility. We could tell the second we walked in for a tour that the staff cares about providing a great place for their patients. The staff was so kind and caring. Definitely recommend this facility.

Fantastic experience: Cool man hi my name is James Langford I'm a patient I was a patient here at Columbia Post acute just calling and talking about how good this place is it's a beautiful facility the staff is just wonderful I've been blessed with great people that work with me the therapist the doctors the nurses the mad nurses the age just everybody's been a pleasant experience I've been in four of these different type places near my walk with with the covid-19 and diabetes and it's been a wonderful comeback but above all this has been the best place that I've ever been in in the carriage just wonderful just wanted to say that about the place and if anyone you know that one needs to be in a place like this this is the place to be without a doubt thank you for your time bye

Fantastic experience: I had a very positive stay while at Columbia Post Acute. The doctor the nurses and all the staff were wonderful help to me. They treated me like family. All the rooms have everything you need just as if you were at home. When I got to Columbia Post Acute I was using the wheelchair and didn't have the strength to walk after being in the hospital. Before I left I was walking back on my feet with the aid of my trusty cane I can't ssa enough about how good I was treated while there. The kitchen staff was wonderful and the food was magnificent. I actually felt spoiled during my stay there, all the way around it was a good experience. I am glad to be home but I truly miss my new friends that I made during my stay at Columbia Post Acute. I look forward to stopping in and saying hi next chance I get. If you have a friend or loved one or you need some rehab after a hospital stay yourself I highly recommend Columbia Post Acute.

Fantastic experience: Having been in 4 different rehab facilities ,facilityf In in a unique position to say my Columbia Post Acute was the best of the 4. They were a great choice for my recovery: caring staff, excellent therapists, and good food. Went in flat on my back and bedridden; came out for healed with all the OT life skills solidly in place to transition back to a normal life. Kudos to Bailey and Rachael for their innovation in developing therapies to deal with the unique challenges of my recovery.

Fantastic experience: Amazing! Need I say more? This is the most beautiful facility I have ever seen. It is truly focused on helping people get better and return home as quickly as possible. The staff is all so warm and welcoming. The therapy team is extremely knowledgable and patient. The nurses and aides are so polite, caring, and passionate of their work. Did I mention the chef?! He takes so much pride in the gourmet food he serves each of the patients. I can’t forget the administration at the facility. They have many years of experience in the area and are extremely integrated in the community. Columbia Post Acute would be my first choice for myself and loved ones after a surgery or major operation for therapy and rehab.

Fantastic experience: I came to the open house and was greeted immediately, and then received a tour from Jana Williams. She showed me around to the rooms which were very modern and welcoming. Everything was so fresh and beautiful and user-friendly. I really loved the barn-style sliding doors for the baths. I was totally impressed by all the amenities including the salon, the gym, the open areas and can’t wait to meet the therapy dog! Columbia Post Acute really knows how to draw in the community. Informative tour by a knowledgeable and passionate team member, the staff are friendly, and the facility is top notch!

Fantastic experience: I was at your amazing facility July 26th during your Open House. What a lovely experience. Your staff treated me like family. Everyone was so positive & happy to be working there. The cuisine was delicious, music was so relaxing and the fireplace was so well made and beautiful in the lobby, it really felt like home. My sister will soon need a place to Rehab and I for sure will be bringing her there. A very classy facility.

Fantastic experience: I am a nurse and have been in the skilled nursing community in the Columbia/Jefferson City area for some time. Working for the Providence Group has been amazing. Their philosophy of allowing administrators to be the decision maker locally benefits staff, patients and local businesses in Columbia which benefits all of us in in the community. They are sincere about how much they value our team! However, that’s not the most important thing I would say about Columbia Post Acute. My mom recently suffered a stroke and would benefit from a bit of rehab. I wouldn’t hesitate to bring her here for the amount of time prescribed by the MD and the length of time she agreed to stay. We didn’t have this option in April so knowing some of the experiences she’s heard from me and others in the past she elected to stay home. I would encourage anyone to trust the staff at Columbia Post Acute with their loved ones to provide top notch care every single day and night. We are fully invested to get parents, neighbors, friends and family back home to their lives and loved ones.

Fantastic experience: Columbia Post Acute has been a wonderful place for my grandmother since day one. The facility even ensured she was transported to their facility from the hospital with no issues while I was at work. My grandmother is currently one of the first residents in this facility and they have done nothing but spoil her. This is an excellent new rehab facility with many amenities that include a fully equipped rehab gym, family Lounge, hair salon and outside patios. The staff has been very professional. They have also kept me informed and up to date with my grandmother’s progress. I have not heard one complaint from my grandmother which is very unusual for her since she used to work in a nursing home. I would defiantly recommend Columbia Post Acute to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Columbia Post Acute was a godsend for my mother and our family. When our mother became ill and was no longer able to remain in the hospital she became the ‘first lady’ of CPA. It is difficult to convey how much each staff member helped all of us, especially mom. She was treated with dignity, respect and compassion from the moment she arrived and throughout her stay. Your staff made us all feel welcomed, answered questions patiently, and went to great lengths to help us remain strong during a difficult journey. It is hard to put into words how much we all appreciate our CPA family. Each team member is there because they obviously care very much about helping their patients. Our mother was proud to be a pioneer and thankful for the opportunity to be the first patient as you opened your doors!

Fantastic experience: I toured Columbia Post-Acute transitional rehab facility today. This is a brand-new goregeous state of the art modern rehab facility. The facility has all private rooms and bathrooms which is very different then the other facilities in town. The rehab gym for physical and occupational therapy is the largest gym I've ever seen in a facility like this. The facility has some really cool additional features including a coffee bar and bistro as well as a sports bar with large screen TV. This facility is clearly tailoring its rehab care to the baby-boomer generation and anyone that appreciates luxury hotel like amenities while recovering from surgery or serious illness. I met the lead therapists and Administrator today and they are committed to sending patients home stronger. 5 STAR!
