ProMedica Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation (Lancaster)

Fantastic experience: Wonderful, clean environment... amazing staff! I'm SO THANKFUL for Abbeyville! We have had a poor experience with a different rehab facility in the past, so Abbeyville is a breath of fresh air for my father and our family!

Positive experience: The nurses & nurses aides work very hard on the rehab wing to take good care of the patients. Abbeyville gets a “4 for nursing care. Nursing supervisor, “Gwen” was outstanding responding to our needs and requests as well as nurse “Andrea”, “Erin “, “Crystal” and the transportation coordinator. All the PT, OT providers were also very kind, knowledgeable and compassionate. Sadly, there are not enough nursing staff to get to call bells and needs in a timely manner on evenings and weekends. The facility, however, and administration is a “1”. I believe that Genesis Corporation needs address the problems in a facility that is broken down/dirty and sorely in need of attention. I am also disappointed in the fact that no administrator identified themselves to family while there. I spent over a week for 6-8 hours a day with my mom and I never knew if any of my messages were being received by the nursing administrator/facility administrator/ independent practitioner.
