Rehabilitation Hospital of Southern New Mexico

Fantastic experience: I am so thankful that I was sent here. I have always heard bad things about in patient rehabilitation facilities, and I was so nervous, but this place is amazing. Everyone treats you well, and several go above and beyond. Junior in physical therapy was so helpful and kind, answered every question he could for me, making me feel comfortable going home. He saw that I would benefit from an AFO, and when they didn't have one to fit, he improvised instead of giving up, and it made all the difference in the world for me to use my foot again. Megan in occupational therapy was absololutely amazing, sweet, kind and helped me understand as well the best way to not aggravate my other discs. She went above and beyond in so many ways, and especially helped with my mental health just by being the kind compassionate person she is. They were a great team and I'm glad I had them. I can't remember all the techs and nurses names, but Ashley my night nurse was also a huge blessing, never minding helping me and checked on me several times a night. My day techs were all wonderful. Nursing was also amazing. I may have another surgery in a few months to repair more discs and pray if I need in patient I get to go here and have the same therapy team!! Thank you RHSNM !!

Fantastic experience: This is an amazing fantastic hospital where you receive the very best of care. I spent two weeks there the staff is magnificent. Can’t say enough good things about it

Fantastic experience: I have to say something but where do I start. This is my fourth visit, and I haven’t had a bad time. The staff here surpasses any other hospital in las cruces. Facility is clean as a whistle, well used but kept up and comfortable. They care and it shows, not many words just action. Last but least, the most important staff. They are sent to those of us that have are having a hard time. Whether it be a stroke to a major surgery, that needs a person with a lot of knowledge and compassion to help us get better. I found that there more than once. I wish I could single one person because there are many that deserve it. The food isn’t the best but I guess I’m not there for the food. I thank god for people that enjoy there job and they show it. Even when I’m sure it’s hard at times

Positive experience: We have been there in and out patient. We have always had great experiences. The staff is fantastic! We felt the food was good. You can't expect home cooking in that venue but food was really pretty good. You have to pick what you like. Not a hotel. We have had wonderful results. Ya don't go there to eat. The only issue is staffing flux.

Fantastic experience: My father has been in two rehab hospitals. Both have been great but Southern stands out for its professionalism, it’s amazing staff, it’s delicious food, it’s cleanliness, it’s modern equipment and technology. My father was treated with I dare say love, kindness, respect, patience and care. I cannot thank EVERY SINGLE individual that assisted my dad in room 408 enough. From the bottom of my heart THANK YOU for what you are doing in our community. Your training and hiring techniques are impeccable.
