Positive experience: Marissa, RN is so friendly, polite and welcoming. Leighton, APRN has a wonderful bedside manner, is patient with all my questions, is thorough in responding to them and making sure I understand my injury and the healing process. My only complaint is having to call their office. For whatever reason, they don't answer their phones, you have to leave a message and again, for whatever reason, they rarely return phone calls. I finally had to drive out there to make an appointment in person. I had to have torn meniscus surgery 6 months ago and by the time they returned my call (2 weeks later) I had already gone to another office AND had the surgery.

Fantastic experience: My experience with shoulder surgery at Ortho was A#1-couldn’t have been any better! They prepared me completely for what to expect. This was my 17th surgery in 6 different hospitals, so I know what excellent care feels like. Nobody tops the doctors, surgeons and care teams at Ortho Kansas, Lawrence Memorial Hospital and UKHS ( KU Med). We are very lucky to live in Lawrence, Kansas with such excellent health care.
