Fairfield Village of Layton Transitional Rehabilitation: Reviews
Fantastic experience: I was here for a short stay after surgery. The People were wonderful. The food was good the physical therapist and occupational therapist were excellent and they made my stay very pleasant. I would highly recommend this great facility to anyone.
Positive experience: Overall averaged out rating is 3 stars. Breakdown of rating is as follows: Physical & Occupational therapy: 5 star rating. They are excellent. Attentuve & they really cared about your healing & safety. Great staff. Food: 2-3 star rating (bland, sometimes too far out instead of simple everyday meals. Most meals I hardly ever ate much of it. Breakfasts were good because it was standard everyday simple things. Had my kids bring me regular food a lot. Didn't go to eat a lot because didn't want to eat their food. Was worse than school lunches. Nurses: 3 stars rating. Day nurses were 4 star, but hardly ever saw early evening/night nurses. Didn't really know who my nurse was most of the time. Some were very attentive & made rounds & checked on you. CNAs: 2-3 stars. Many acted like you were putting them out by even pushing the call button for help (especially those in early evening/night). Others were very on the ball, but very few of them. Only on stayed in my room while I showered. And in the 21 days I was there, my sheets were only changed once a week. Not every time I took a shower. I would go there again just for the therapy staff, but I would take my own food (have fridge & microwave in room), ask for clean bedding more often, etc. I would suggest they get a nurse call PA system like the hospital has so that when you push call button, someone answers & asks what you need, then someone comes down to your room. The way it is now, you push call button, CNA/nurse come to your room & ask what you need, then (if not just need to go the restroom) they have to go back to nursing station to relay need, then CNA/nurse come back to your room with whatever you need.
