Thatcher Brook Rehabilitation and Care Center

Fantastic experience: Number one: it doesn't smell bad! Number two: some of the kindest people work here. I have been impressed with the scope of knowledge of staff, particularly the director of nursing. Number three: the food looks delicious most of the time. Number four: I would send my family here.

Fantastic experience: I just spent 2 weeks at this facility. Clean, Friendly, and responsive. The nursing staff listened well and did their best to take care of all concerns, they communicated with me when they could and couldn't do things and offered alternatives. The personal care staff were professional and always had a smile. They were considerate of my beliefs and looked to make sure I was taken care of and informed. The rooms are large and I was able to do the things that I needed to as I was in a wheelchair with a full leg cast. I found the meals to be excellent and the portions to be the right size. They have a dining area if you are social or can eat in your room. They also have daily activities that you can participate in if you are so inclined. The therapy area is geared to both patients who need basic movement therapy to more extensive therapy. I had a little trouble being on the same page with them at times, as we seemed to have different goals, but overall they did a good job. The Director of Thatcher Brook is very personable and made sure that we were on the same page for my needs as well as my future needs in one-to-one communication and it was very much appreciated. Lastly, I found the entire staff to be friendly with each other and considerate of their responsibilities helping out where they were needed even if it wasn't their responsibility. It makes a difference!

Fantastic experience: My husband's grandparents were both at Thatcher Brook after hospital stays and were able to recover quickly because of the therapy. I work here now and I absolutely love the team here. We all communicate and work well together to keep a positive air on the facility.
