Your doctor may suggest physical therapy as a treatment for minor tendon injuries, ankle sprains, hip pain, and other painful conditions. After your injury or condition has been diagnosed, your doctor will discuss your treatment options with you. Rehabilitation may be the most appropriate solution.

After your doctor visit, they may recommend physical therapy as part of your treatment. The first step in the healing process is the acute phase of physical therapy. This includes treatments to reduce pain, swelling, and exercises to increase the range of motion and strength of the affected area. This stage of therapy can begin shortly after an injury or surgery and last for 4 to 8 weeks, depending on your doctor's instructions. If you have undergone a surgical procedure, this phase of rehabilitation may begin in the hospital and continue when you return home.

Negative experience: Terrible Service from the Clerks. My Doctor fax the referral six times and they didn’t care to look for it to schedule an appointment. After multiple trips to follow up I decided to change location.

Fantastic experience: Ashley Felix is hands down the best Physical Therapy Assistant. She is hard on me and pushes me to do my best. I feel like working with her is going to greatly improve my recovery. Nate is awesome also. I think these people are amazing at what they do. Jack Houston is lucky to have such amazing employees and trainers.

Fantastic experience: Hughston PT especially the Therapist Ariz is awesome. Ariz was so helpful, kind and compassionate! I finished up PT today but sad I won’t be going back to visit with Ariz.

Fantastic experience: If anyone out there needing physical therapy I recommend Houston clinic they are the best and most caring group there are. They work very hard at getting you everything you need while in therapy they are very caring and concerned about the progress of their patient and making you feel welcome all the time

Fantastic experience: Service was great! I went in with pain in my ankles that kept me from even walking around the block. After a few treatments I left feeling great and was able to resume working out.

Fantastic experience: I would like to commend the physical therapy department of Hughston Clinic. All the employees from the front entrance to the scheduling desk have displayed a willingness to help and cheerful attitude. I especially want to thank Anna ward..she is courteous and professional..caring for her client's needs..water and a bandaid when needed. Thank you all for caring.

Fantastic experience: Great group of people. Therapists and etc. very friendly and knowledgeable. Physical therapy was very useful and I felt like a gained a new group of friends. I would highly recommend The hughston group 10 stars

Fantastic experience: I am extremely pleased with all the staff at Hughston Clinic. From the moment we walk in, the person taking our temperature is pleasant , the desk people know us by name and make us feel welcome, our PT, Travis Benn, is knowledgeable, helpful and extremely professional. Fantastic experience: All experience with Hughston has been a 5 ⭐️ From the front desk all the way to the Doctor. Rehab was so very helpful. As I progressed, my exercises were updated accordingly. I would recommend this facility over any other.

Fantastic experience: I didn't REALLY want to need surgery or physical therapy, but when the need arose i can honestly say i was blessed to be near this place. Every single person i have dealt with has been great, from the scheduling to the PT. Travis walked me through every part of my process and the exercises were tailored for my injury. I don't have one negative thing to say other than i think they deserve more than 5 stars for dealing with me!
