Fantastic experience: Love the staff go above & beyond excellent program the work out is distinguis Strenuous but effective I love it I had a stroke in 2021 I have a paralysis on my left side of my body 24 & On my way! Fantastic experience: Brett Garstick is an excellent Physical Therapist at The Recovery Project. He was able to identify the root cause of my neck and radiating discomfort to my arm. He implemented a stretching and strengthening regime to alleviate discomfort.

Fantastic experience: I find Rachel to be a very competent physical therapist. The series of workouts she has given me are working and stretching my muscles. She guides me through them and lessens my fears. After my sessions I know I will be in better condition.

Fantastic experience: My father has been going to The Recovery Project in Livonia for outpatient rehabilitation (OT and PT) since March 2023. We're extremely pleased with the treatment and support he has been receiving there from Gabby Tremp, Jaynel Denomme, Jessica Somerville, and Charlie Swingle. The therapists are really attuned to my dad's specific needs following his rare and acute bilateral thalamic stroke in January; they combine expert knowledge with true compassion--a winning combination. Prior to The Recovery Project, my dad was in the ICU and then an inpatient rehab hospital for close to 2 months (Beaumont Taylor's amazing Traumatic Brain Injury unit.) He has gone from being in a coma in the ICU to being able to walk up and down 2 flights of stairs with assistance. His vision impairment (third nerve palsy) has also shown signs of improvement since last month. The progress he's made at The Recovery Project is remarkable. Moreover, the facility in the Livonia clinic is top-notch. We are always impressed with the equipment and also the different tools/ideas employed by my dad's therapists. We'd highly recommend TRP to anyone seeking neuro-related rehabilitation!!

Fantastic experience: I am so happy & grateful that I met Lindsay Vos at a fun run in Livonia. As a former patient, Lindsay, didn’t steer me wrong when she directed me to the Recovery Project to get the help I needed to recover from plantar fasciitis. I really wanted to get back to the hobby that I love to hate… running! There are a lot of wonderful therapists that I trained with during my recovery including Mari, my main PT who is awesome! This amazing team, including Charlie, Brie, Corinne, Jaynel, & more, have all listened to me and adjusted plans from evaluation, to stretching, massaging, balance, & strength training all to help me get back on my feet. I could go on about how wonderful they are and how grateful I am to be able to exercise this way again… but I’ll just say this… If you’re thinking about PT but on the fence… get started now so you can feel better already. It is so worth it. Thank you to everyone at the Recovery Project! I really appreciate all you’ve done for me.
