Arbor Rehabilitation & Nursing Center

Fantastic experience: I am very impressed with the services that this building offers. My grandfather was released from Arbor a few weeks ago and my family is very happy with how far he has come. Of course, we did encounter some difficulties, but the management was responsive and made sure that our concerns were addressed. I would definitely recommend this facility.

Positive experience: In general, the staff and support people are friendly, compassionate and responsive. At times, the response time is slow, I suppose due to the staff to patient ratio, which presumably is high. The rooms are maintained and cleaned frequently. The food service department goes beyond standard nutritional needs and provides meals that are tasty and visually appealing. The menu varies widely. Bottom line, the food is good. The therapy department is staffed by excellently trained therapists who give patients techniques to use away from the therapy sessions. If patients ask questions, the therapists give information to clarify concerns and to motivate patients to work toward recovery. My one complaint is that when I missed a doctor appointment, it seems that the staff could not reschedule the appointment. It took me 5 minutes to find a number, make a call and reschedule the appointment. This may be an area where staff can develop procedures to make scheduling appointments easier. That could be less stressful for staff and patients.

Fantastic experience: I have been here for 4 weeks getting therapy after was involved in an accident. I have only good things to say about the care I have had here !!! The nurses, staff, and even the janitorial persons have treated me with kindness and respect. I hope I never need to stay in a Rehabilitation care home again, but if I do, this is the place I would like to be at ! Regards, William McDonnell Lodi CA.
