Fantastic experience: The building is very nice and unique. The staff are very friendly and welcoming to people. I love the actvities department and how much they make the residents happy and keep them busy with different programs. I will recommend this facility to friends and family anytime.

Fantastic experience: Kennedy and Sky are two of the nicest people I have ever met. They genuinely care about their patients and listen to family concerns. Healthcare is difficult these days but they are doing a great job. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I am a current patient here and I have to say at first glance when I got here coming from the state of the art facility that I was in, I was devastated. My first couple of days I was met by many of the staff doing their normal intake routine. The staff was very warm and welcoming. They did their very best to make me feel comfortable. Every CNA that assisted me did so with a smile on their face, even when I was not being the easiest person to deal with. After spending a couple months here and getting out of my room and taking the time to learn the new faces that were around I never met anyone that wasn’t there to help with whatever it was I may need. The rehab that I have received here has been absolutely amazing. I never thought I would have a chance to walk again with what I considered to be limited equipment in their gym. Now this was based on coming from a facility that had all the top technology a rehab could possibly offer. I have been proven wrong. When you have skilled therapist like they do here, and ones that care about you as much as they would as if you were their own family. It’s amazing what you can accomplish. I’m happy to say that I am now walking. Thanks to Dr. Al, Teka and Kyle. I’m getting better everyday. The nurses here have hearts of gold!! They are truly angels among us. They have been there for me more times than I can count. When I had a bed sore on the heel of my foot they were on top of it right away. Making sure that it was properly treated everyday. Within a matter of time the wound was all healed up. The nurses I am naming are the ones that cared for me day in and day out, Megan, Tiffany, Crystal, Tanya and not to be forgotten the D.O.N. Laura. She is without a doubt the one who keeps this ship afloat. She is always buried with work but would always make time for me to resolve any problems I may have had. Thank you to all the staff at Lynchburg Health and Rehab for making my stay so great and making me feel like I was part of a family. I love you all!!
