Fantastic experience: I can't speak highly enough about the exceptional care I have received at Spaulding Rehabilitation in Medford. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm and engaging front desk staff who deserve special recognition for their warmth and genuine concern. Their friendly smiles and caring demeanor make every visit a pleasant experience, and they are a testament to the practice's commitment to patient care. The Occupational Therapy team is simply wonderful. From the moment I stepped into their office space it was evident that they genuinely care about their patients' well-being. The pillars of the program are Eve S., Deborah R., and Rick F. all of whom are incredibly knowledgeable and work to ensure that their patients are well informed throughout treatment. Their dedication to their patients is truly inspiring. They not only possess a wealth of knowledge but also have the unique ability to empower and motivate. Their genuine concern for my progress and well-being has been a driving force in my rehabilitation. The personalized approach they take to every session makes me feel like more than just a patient, but a person with unique needs and goals. The Physical Therapy team, led by Jennifer J., Afarin A., and Dianne K., is equally remarkable. They are incredibly patient and understanding, taking the time to explain each step of the process and ensuring that I am comfortable throughout my therapy. Their expertise is evident in every session, and they consistently go above and beyond to tailor their approach to my specific needs. I would also like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Karen P. and Marie G. for their exceptional support during my transfer from Maryland to Massachusetts. Their accommodation and guidance made the transition seamless and stress-free, allowing me to continue my treatment without interruption. Being a medical provider myself, I feel as if I have a unique lens in terms of understanding everything that providers do for their patients. I can't help but marvel at the care I've received as I've navigated my journey through recovery. The team at Spaulding has created a holistic environment of care, knowledge, and empathy. Positive experience: They attack pain from every conceivable angle, in ways I never knew I was causing strain to my body. Even if my diagnosis is incurable it helps me alleviate all the unnecessary additional layers of pain. 1 star removed because parking can be atrocious due to the insane quantity of reserved spaces that go unused.

Positive experience: Staff is caring and attentive. But the model of chronic pain "treatment" is outdated and will not provide a resolution of symptoms. The TMS approach is not used here which is truly a disservice to patients. If you are a patient in chronic pain consider finding a TMS doctor or psychotherapist who uses the Dr. Sarno approach.

Fantastic experience: Every single person I've interacted with here has been amazing. I'm being treated for chronic and acute conditions. Their acupuncturist is a wizard. The occupational therapist I work is absolutely delightful and my new favorite person. Their physical therapists are great. Somehow their social worker can cut through a lifetime of avoidance and deflection to get to my issues. The team at reception always puts a smile on my face, and Dr. Colbert is hilarious and incredibly knowledgeable. Entering their functional restoration program feels like enrolling at the Xavier Institute, and I'm glad I'm finally being taught how to use my special powers.
