Physio - Town Center: Reviews
Fantastic experience: Been receiving therapy from Josh here for a couple weeks and I have improved and appreciate the effort being put forth by Josh. He's quite professional and knowledgeable. Only thing I would have to say is that the place gets very busy so the schedule gets filled up quick. Other than that, good facility to visit if you need rehab.
Fantastic experience: My first visit was amazing.. everyone was very kind and considerate. My pt , Joshua was very professional and knowledgeable. .. explained everything to me which made me feel better about my upcoming visits. Great experience ????
Fantastic experience: For the past 3 years I have been dealing with lower back and leg pain. I was diagnosed with sciatic. I tried chiropractic sessions and physical therapy. I was trying to be active walking every day and doing stretches. It was getting worse. Doctor referred me again to physical therapy,I chose Pysio on Barrett parkway. Since the assessment Laura Beth was very knowledgeable. She noticed right Away that something was wrong with my hip. He recommended hip X-rays. I asked my PCP for the X-rays. Doctor called me urgently after she read the report. I have osteoarthritis in my left hip and it is almost bone to bone. Finally I have the correct diagnosis,I was referred to have a MRI and orthopedic appointment, now I’m in the right track. Thank you Laura Beth, for your care and knowledge. You are a gem.
Fantastic experience: Ashley has been amazing helping me rehab after being struck by a truck. I was in bad shape, but almost 3 months of therapy with Ashley's guidance has me getting back to my old self. I've never dealt with an injury like this and it can be just as tough mentally as physically. Ashley could sense that and did an amazing job of keeping me positive and moving forward. Joey, her manager, is also doing great work. They make a great team. Mary, she is doing it all too, wearing many hats and she even made me feel great about going to every visit. There are times when they have a rush , numerous people are getting checked in all at once. Mary can only handle one person at a time, and does a great job getting through their busy times. To the person below with unreasonable expectations, I suggest leaving your card on file, so check in is nothing more than waiving to Mary as I walk in the door. Mary, you have zero to apologize for, some people are never going to be happy. Hate seeing you go Ashley Hopefully they realize how valuable you are and make a big $$$ offer!!!
Positive experience: If it wasn’t for Ashley, the OT student, then I would never go back strictly because of Mary, the lady at the front desk. Ashley gets 5 stars! She’s great! Mary gets 0 stars! She needs another job! Customer service is not her specialty! After waiting several minutes for Mary to finish her personal conversation and acknowledge that I walked in, she didn’t greet me. She simply said, “Let’s get you checked in.” She never verified my name or any identifying information. She then proceeded to be rude, loud, and wrong! She said “Your prescription expires on 7/8. Therefore, we can’t schedule any visits beyond today and any visits that you have scheduled will have to be paused.” She then asked me if I had the doctor to extend my prescription. When I stated that I did not because I was not aware of the expiration date, she said “Well, it’s your job to read. The patients are expected to read. You are responsible for knowing what your policy covers. You are supposed to read through your policy. As a courtesy, I look up things for you and tell you, but it is your job to read.” I informed her that my policy states how many visits it covers, but it doesn’t have an expiration date for an order from the doctor. She said, “Well, it’s your job to read. Again, I give you information as a courtesy. You’re supposed to read through your policy.” She began to pretend to thumb through a stack of papers as if she’s demonstrating how I should read through my policy. After informing her that I was at the orthopedist today, she looked in the computer and saw that the order was actually extended. However, she continued on about what she does as a courtesy and my job as a patient. I asked her several times not to talk to me like I’m three years old. The OT student and my teenage daughter witnessed her continuously talking to me like I was uneducated and didn’t earn the two Bachelors, one Masters, and Doctoral degrees that I posses. I write initial therapy orders and approve to extend them for patients after the report has been faxed to me with the therapist’s recommendations. I know that it’s not the patients responsibility to extend their own orders. That made the interaction even more irritating. I’m sure that I’m not the only one that has had this issue with Mary. She was too comfortable belittling me and telling me over and over again that she does her job of insurance verification and communicating benefits to the patients as a courtesy. She explained that to me over the phone when I made my first appointment, during my first visit to the facility, and at my recent appointment. I’m not sure what all she is paid to do, but I’m sure that talking to me the way that she did is not in her job description. I’m ONLY going back because of Ashley!
