Fantastic experience: A family member had a driver's eval with one of the OTs. The eval was thorough and appropriate. The OT was kind and professional. The results of the cognitive evaluation indicated that a road test was not necessary. Due to the deficits identified, a road test could have ended in tragedy. It was helpful to have test results to inform the need for the family member to stop driving rather than just our opinions. The time spent and the cost of the eval was definitely worth it.
