Positive experience: My review here is particularly addressing towards the service and attitude I received from the manual therapist LAUREN T. I have never encountered such a threatening and condescending experience at a medical setup. She did not listen to my needs and formed a prejudice against me even it is the first time I met her. I was threatened by her putting negative comments, solely based on her unprofessionalism, on my patient chart. I am glad that the marketplace PT customer advocate called me to address this issue. I am updating my review because of that.

The therapists are highly skilled and really know their stuff, making sure to explain everything in a way that is easy to understand.

Fantastic experience: I am very happy with the care that I have received from Dr Desiree Howard. I came to her with vertigo, referred from Kaiser PCP and in the very first treatment she got to the root of the problem and it was corrected. The facility is very nice, and clean. The office staff is competent and pleasant. My second visit confirmed that I have now tested negative and I have one more appointment. The maneuver worked and I went to the dentist yesterday to prove it. I have one more appointment at the end of September and I hope to be vertigo free. Thank you so much Dr. Howard for your skill and kindness. I want to say that if you are suffering with this debilitating illness, please do see Dr Howard.

Negative experience: The mini workouts were not very effective for back pain. The first consultation is considered a session & sessions are usually less than an hour. I waited quite awhile my first visit before and afterwards. Receptionist stated she was the only one working so to be patient, which I understand. One client kept complaining he was waiting too long and had to leave so I let him go before me. Forward to my third session where I was 13 mins late and when I got there I was informed the physical therapist couldn’t see me. You want clients to wait , yet the workers don’t have the same courtesy. I told the receptionist I wouldn’t be back for the rest of my sessions, yet I still received a voicemail to schedule an appointment. If they truly cared, they would have called regarding the issue on hand instead of wanting me to make an appointment so they could bill my insurance company.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Jaina Do thoroughly consulted my pinched nerve pain and explained it with easy to understand words & images. And, the physical therapists were very supportive, friendly, and eased my pain like magic.

Fantastic experience: This is the first Physical Therapist location that they really pay attention to your needs and pain levels. If they see you struggling they will assist and/or change the situation that your in. The staff is very friendly and they seem very happy to be at work and helping the people that come in! I was trying to do a certain exercise and a therapy attendant notice I was walking weird, she put me on a table and massaging my hip area and pressure in areas and next thing I was even again! Even thou my back was resisting the work out, I can’t wait till my next session! I do recommend this place!

Fantastic experience: Referred to this location due to shoulder injury that occurred at work in a workplace accident. The service at the location has been excellent, from the receptionist, to the physical therapy staff, and the facility. Physical Therapy is a hard process, and this location allows me to push myself farther with compassionate and caring staff that always make me feel welcome… Plus the hyperice feels amazing! Will be coming here as long as possible…

Fantastic experience: This is by far the best physical therapy I have ever had. I have had 4 different therapy places after various surgeries on my knee. Each of the other places were either short staffed or just didn’t care. That is not the case with Marketplace. I have never felt such a level of 1 on 1 personal attention as I do here. They constantly check how I am feeling, address any pain issues immediately and continue to update my routine as I pass certain markers they look for during my recovery. This place came highly recommended by my in home therapists after my knee replacement surgery and their faith in this company was well founded. I would recommend Marketplace physical therapy to anyone requiring therapy for any reason.

Fantastic experience: My boyfriend had major shoulder surgery. The diagnosis, treatment, and therapy exercises were superb. WE want to shout out to the entire therapy team. My boyfriend was able to return to work almost 90 days sooner than anticipated.

Fantastic experience: 4 months ago I had knee replacement surgery. After 2 weeks of home PT I was referred to Market Place Physical Therapy in Chino for my rehabilitation. Everyone I was in contact with from the gals at the front counter to the physical therapist that treated me were friendly, professional, caring, knowledgeable and easy to interact with. I primarily worked with Vanessa and Sam who were both great. At times I had other PTA’s who were also great. I appreciated the care they provided to me to get me back to my favorite activities, like pickleball. As I had my last session today it was bittersweet. I have enjoyed working with them and will miss not seeing them anymore. But that is a good thing as they have done a great job! I would not think twice about going back to them for physical therapy if I needed it in the future. Thank you again Market Place Physical Therapy!

Fantastic experience: My mother was seen at this facility. Prior to coming here she had a lot of pain walking and even sitting down. However, Dr. Desiree, Lauren, Nikki, and Sara helped my mom through exercise and even taught her how to squat/lift properly. After a few visits, her pain decreased and was more manageable. She was even able to take two out of country trips and walk/hike places! Thank you to the MPT family for helping my family continue to make memories.

Negative experience: UPDATE: After my 5th visit, crickets. Never heard back from Marketplace or from my doctor. No follow up. No closure. Nothing. Weird. Oh well. I guess I'm finished with therapy!? Original review: Dr Shayan Karim is great. Nice facility. Easy to schedule an appointment. Facility is clean and spacious. Dr Karim examined me and addressed my lower back issues. He was professional and thorough. Nice guy. He gave me stretches to do at home. His staff is helpful and friendly. Great spot. Recommended.

Fantastic experience: I Had total knee replacement. On my own, I wasn't able to reach my goal as far as to have full functionality of my knee. Though I did get physical therapy through Home Health Therapy from the hospital, it still wasn't where I needed to be while recovering, so they stretch out my physical therapy at Marketplace physical therapy at the Chino location. At the first session, I was evaluated by a physician. At the second session I was treated by Vanessa for the actual therapist. She was amazingly wonderful, she made me hurt where I needed to hurt which was necessary for my recovery. Right away I felt the difference from before the therapyand after the therapy. The therapy still continues, it is still a long process to full recovery, but with the help of these professionals, I know I will soon recover, so I can prepare myself for my second surgery on the opposite knee. Negative experience: Dislocated shoulder came for initial visit they told me it was going to be an hour and 15 mins. They were done in 30 minutes and I still had to pay full price. Recommended I come back for 8 sessions but they are booked the next two weeks as it is. You couldn’t pay me to go back to a place like this lesson learned. Absolute waste of time and money. People dealing with injuries and doctors bills shouldn’t be taken advantage of by Marketplace physical therapy.
