Corona Post Acute: Reviews
Fantastic experience: My family member was just admitted to this wonderful facility. You start by interfacing with the admissions people, Irish D and Iris F. These two ladies are exceptional. They are polite, friendly and very concerned about your loved one. They make the admission process easy and non stressful. Then you meet the rest of the staff. Within the past two weeks I have met numerous staff including nursing and administrative. Without a single exception, I am so impressed with each of them. This has to be a reflection of the management in how they screen and select outstanding employees. It is so reassuring that your loved one cannot be in better hands.
Negative experience: Very bad personal.Lack of nurses.Asked for help and took for ever for someone to help my dad. Don't take your love onces there.
Fantastic experience: My grandmother was there for rehab for a few months. The rehab services in this building really helped her. Service is excellent. They have several staff that are really dedicated to helping our elderly family. The admission department are really attentive to what my grandmother needed. Very patient and kind. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone that needs rehab services.
Negative experience: Where is the CEO? For profit ? STOP LEAVING PATIENT’S in Urine and POOPs for hours. Shower them Daily! Clean your Facility! Clean the dirty walls too. Clean the windows, repaint the walls.
Fantastic experience: I've been a resident in this facility for over 3 months and I can say it's one of the best facilities I been to. Great services good rehab, activities staff is great, The office staff very helpful but the Admissions department the two ladies name Iris Are one of the best amazing people very funny with a beautiful soul very helpful. The building it self is beautiful. I will recommend this facility to anybody that needs rehab. I will do this all over again.
Negative experience: This place is horrible!!!!!! It's so sad to see how they treat the patients here how they neglect them and only shower them 2xs per week and leave them in soiled diapers for hours and when your walking down the halls you see all these patients in the hallways lost and confused they just leave them there in their wheel chairs they don't even pay attention to them and the staff in the middle front desk is just socializing talking and laughing there not even attending to the patients in the nursing home not to mention the rooms are disgusting there dirty they don't even change the sheets and pillow cases they don't mop the floors it really bad the condition of this place they lack knowledgeable staff the staff there looks lost themselves and careless some of them yell at the patients they really need to upgrade this place with more updated beds and supplys for the patients so sad to see the condition these paitients live in i do not recommend this facility at all dont send your family members here they neglect them
Negative experience: Place is terrible my dad wa treated terrible I need people to know to never l Place your loved ones in here.
Fantastic experience: I'm very grateful with all the staff at this facility. All the staff is wonderful treated me with respect and dignity. Very clean and beautiful building. I will recommend this nursing home to everyone that needs rehab and to does who are in need for there family members to receive services. I'm so happy & so satisfied I will definitely come back if needed. Thank you so much to everyone in Corona Post Acute from Marialena Espinoza and family.
Negative experience: Do Not Send Your Loved Ones Here. Horrible Place. Their Rooms Were Dirty & They Neglected My Loved One. If You Do Have Someone There I Suggest You Relocate Them.
Negative experience: Awful. Please do not send your loved ones here. Not enough staff. Leave the patient soiled for hours. Push the help button many many times with no response. We were told they are only able to shower twice a week. Leave them soiled for hours and you’re not allowed to shower. Physical therapy is a joke. They didn’t show up one day and the next day was a 20 minute session. Our roommate was not able to communicate so her situation was way worse. The urine smell is strong. The food is served cold. If you speak to management you get empty promises and excuses about how they’re doing the best they can. Unfortunately that is not good enough. These patients deserve better. Even the over worked staff speaks negatively about how difficult it is for them.
Negative experience: DO NOT send your loved ones here. My mom is staying there because she had lumbar spinal surgery. She was cut through her back and her stomach and had her spine shoved back and bars placed. She’s suppose to get her medication every 4 hours to handle the pain and they made her wait 8 hours after she asked multiple times to have her medication (this isn’t the first or second time this has happened) the only reason they took her medication to her when they did is because I called and went off. What about the people who don’t have someone to call for them?!
Fantastic experience: My uncle was brought here after a fall and I was a bit hesitant with the mixed reviews but corona post acute took good care of him. They helped him recover with the amazing physical therapy team. My uncle was here 3 weeks and was discharged. I would recommend this place.
Fantastic experience: Im enjoying the time here at the facility. In the beginning the noc shift was a bit slow but the nurses here are caring and very attentive.May, rocío, diana, aloha are my favorite nurse and always make sure I'm well taken care of. The therapy team goes above and beyond to help me get better and I would bring my family and loved ones here knowing they will be in good hands.
Positive experience: My uncle stayed at this facility for a period of time, and I must say that the service was excellent. Throughout his stay, I did not encounter any problems and had a positive experience overall. The staff were friendly and kind, providing great care. A special mention to Yesenia from admissions for her outstanding assistance in making the transition smooth by promptly addressing all my inquiries. I would definitely recommend this facility to my family and friends.
Negative experience: Horrible place, do not send your loved ones here. My 82 year old Father was sent here for therapy after getting Covid, so he could get his strength back, but unfortunately very little therapy was done, and he is in the same shape or worse after 18 days in their care. After speaking to the case manager, he tried to tell me they had documented they were doing therapy three times a day, which is simply not true, and also insurance fraud if I'm not mistaken. Documenting something you didn't do, and trying to get paid by the insurance for it, seems sketchy, and fraudulent to me. My Dad said he was lucky to get therapy once a day, if at all most days. They don't answer the phones, and if they do, registration just transfers you to voice mail at the nurses station, of which they never return the call. They left him sit in a chair for hours in discomfort, they had his bed on the floor, they have cords running all over the place, the TV was unplugged most of the time, with no remote control. Worst of all, they didn't respond to my fathers nurse button when he would need something, they simply ignored it. Do not send anyone you love to this horrible place. Id give 0 stars if possible, unfortunately I was forced to give 1 star to write the review.
Positive experience: I'm only giving 4 stars cause the food they serve the patients is something left to be desired Staff is caring and do a good job. Housecleaner are on it. Overall a good place, but if you have anyone as a patient here, bring them home cooked meals and make sure the have groceries at their disposal.
Negative experience: I would give it a zero if I could!
Negative experience: Management is terrible. Don't take anyone there. Get better care at veterinarian.
Negative experience: This place sucks mother stays here hates the staff and I can never get any information about her well-being. I give them numbers to call back and never get a call back. Never leave a family member here. Worst place ever.
Negative experience: The nursing staff, they shouldn’t be certified, complete, ignorance, they have no idea what are they doing, they gave my mom two blood medication from the same drug family her blood pressure was so low for 2 days in the row and they didn’t do nothing, I told the “ nurse “ that my mom got a side effect from one medication DO NOT give her that , and the nurse told me OK the second day they gave her the same medication that gave her the side effect . A Huge gab in communication between the nursing staff and the patient/ patient family. The doctors if you complain enough you will talk with them. I took my mom from this facility to the ER. And she spent 2 days in the hospital recovering from lungs infection that they neglected. This is a slow killing machine for the one you love.
Negative experience: This is a horrible place to send anyone that you care about. My wife was transferred there from the hospital because there was no other place to send her at that time and I am not qualified to administer IV’s. As it was too late (6:00 pm) in the day for me to visit her during the check in process, especially since they still Covid test any visitors and I live about an hour away, I decided to wait until the next morning. BIG MISTAKE. When I arrive the next morning at 10:00 am, I Covid tested and then walked into my wife's room. I almost wet my pants. They left my wife for sixteen hours coughing up blood in her bed and used a bib and sheet under her chin to catch the blood with. She was also to be hooked up to and IV machine for antibiotic’s to treat her infection. None of this occurred. The “nurse” arrived and frantically looked busy and asked me if she should call and ambulance (?). OF COURSE, YOU SHOULD. Anyways, the paramedics did show up and brought my wife to the Corona Regional Medical Center. Although my wife is doing much better, thanks to the excellent care provided by the staff at CRMC, it should not have had to happen if the Corona Post Acute facility had done their job (called an ambulance immediately when my wife began to have issues). I am not asking for perfection, just do your jobs. You know, the healthcare profession which you chose to be in. The health and well being of those you chose to look after.
Negative experience: Horrible, most of the cna’s dont know where things are at or what the protocol is.they don’t check on patients unless they feel like even if 10 call buttons are on. They can’t answer simple questions or even keep track of the medications charts for the patients. They don’t keep their phones on for even the pharmacy to get through and it smells so bad, they don’t have the right stuff to keep the smell down. Worst of all they just don’t have enough people to take care of All the patients there the first time I went there was a patient wheeling herself down the driveway to the street and the nurse wasn’t bothered enough to run after her she waited and called someone else as she’s yelling at the patient not to go.
Negative experience: This place maybe fine for people who are still somewhat mobile but if you are confined to your bed, it is a nightmare. My mother has poor eyesight and the only thing for her to do all day is watch TV. They were suppose to be doing therapy with her 3 times a week but haven't bothered. I realize they are short staffed but that is managements problem not ours.
Negative experience: If I could give this center a ZERO I would. This is the most DISGUSTING & UNPROFESSIONAL rehabilitation center ever. Many things are wrong with this place but here are major factors. 1. COCKROACHES! There were roaches on the CURTAINS. This place serves food!! Who’s to say if the curtains have roaches that the kitchen doesn’t? Our loved ones are living in a place that instead of healing them could possibly make them sick!! 2. NOT ENOUGH OUTLETS!! This place initially told my grandmas insurance that they WERE EQUIPPED to care for someone on OXYGEN & a TPN. When we got there, each patient only has TWO outlets. So one for the bed & one for either your oxygen or tpn. Because of this they had my grandmas TPN context to her VIA EXTENTION CORD. That’s absolutely ridiculous!! How can you be equipped to care for someone on oxygen and TPN WITH ONLY 2 OUTLETS?! 3. NO ONE WRITES ANYTHING DOWN. Nothing is RECORDED. Because my grandma wasn’t being given anything by mouth, she was given insulin via IV port. Well in the 48 hours she was there no one knew if she was given her insulin or not. Because of this when we removed her, EMS recorded her sugar at 489!! 4. They do NOT care about your loved ones. They had my grandmas bed on the floor because she is a fall risk and nobody goes in to check up on them. UNLESS YOU SRE THERE, THEY DONT CARE. WHATEVER YOU DO, PLEASE TAKE YOUR LOVED ONES ELSE WHERE!!
Fantastic experience: Service, staff.
Fantastic experience: Mmmmmmmmmmmmm
Fantastic experience: My Grandma ended up in the hospital for about a week and was unable to eat because of stomach pain. After the issue was identified and surgically corrected she had lost significant weight and came to this facility to stay until she gained the strength to come home. The staff was caring and attentive. Grandma enjoyed the meals eating more and more as she healed. Staff was on top of her schedule and lovingly firm in encouraging her through physical therapy sessions. The facility was clean, quiet, and provides well maintained grounds for visiting. I see some low reviews and that rings strange to me. I think people are probably going through very difficult times when they write them. I don't know what more you could want. Corona Post Acute did a great job for our grandmother and we appreciate it. Thank you!
Fantastic experience: I HAVE BEEN A RESIDENT OF CORONA POST ACUTE SINCE NOVEMBER 2022 THRU APRIL 2023. THE DIRECTOR MS. G. IS TO BE COMMENDED CONSIDERABLY FOR HER HANDS ON APPROACH TOWARD THE ORDERLY PERFORMANCE OF THIS PLACE. YOU MUST KNOW THAT EVERYTHING STARTS WITH MS. G. I PERSONALLY KNOW THAT THERE IS AN OPEN DOOR POLICY IF YOU FEEL THE NEED TO EXPRESS YOURSELF.. THE STAFFING COMPLEMENTS THIS PLACE. THERE ARE MANY QUALIFIED PERSONS IN THESE DEPTS.. MY STAY HAS BEEN A JOYFUL EXPERIENCE WITH POSITIVE RESULTS. DUE TO YOUR INFLUENCE MS. G. HOW YOU ENVISION THIS PLACE SHOWS THRU THE DUTIFUL PERFORMANCES OF THE COMPLETE STAFF.... KUDOS...
Fantastic experience: My Grandmother got wonderful care here while recovering from a surgery. The staff was friendly and caring. They were able to help her recoup so that she could return home. I highly recommend this facility!
Negative experience: Iwasincoronaposycitefoe 5months easdosxhargedwithoutanexitplanbecamehomeless hadaskedfor 5 monthsforhelpwirhfilingformystatedisability and gotnnohelp veryis satisfied
Negative experience: Once you walk in its clean and nice but once you go to the back its dirty there's patients on there wheelchair everywhere there asleep waiting to be put in bed the rooms are janky and dingy you can tell that they treat patients differently by how much they pay
Negative experience: I know they killed my dad my dad passed away April 2022 they said from a heartattack the day he supposed to be discharged. He has never had heart complications. He went in for amputations due to diabetes . He used to be in pain and nurses never checked on him. One of my sisters or myself had to be there to be on nurses. My dad was supposed to be here home where he belongs. But the week of his passing they closed the place down for covid. Nobody checked on my dad, he used to tell us with his own cell phone Please read the reviews before you take or allow your love one to come to this place i really hope they close this place down
Negative experience: They removed my family member immediately without considering our wishes to have her closer to home. Without advance notice, they moved her hours away from us and left us to figure out how to move her to a closer home. Poor customer service from top to bottom.
Negative experience: I wish I could provide a better review for the care provided to my elderly mother, Elsa Farrow. I don’t have the time or energy to write a comprehensive review. At this time I can only offer up; please if you have the opportunity which in some cases you don’t please do the best review you possibly can and be there to fight for your love ones because healthcare has really shifted downwards in patient care both in the hospital setting and in the post cute facilities as well.
Positive experience: From my experience being a patient still here. The staff is great along with the food and everyone is polite, respectful and always willing to help me any time I need it.
Fantastic experience: After being here for close to a month. I have been able to see and talk to most the medical staff. Had my dressing changed regularly my meds on time. If I am in pain given the meds for that on file.the staff is professional and nice. Response to call button has been prompt . My case workers and social worker have spoken to me and will assist me in locating place to live once I am done healing and the staples are removed. The rehab and exercise staff see me two times a day and are good at what they do. Over all I am thankful that I landed here. Thanks everyone keep up good work. Michael Jacob
Fantastic experience: Debbie was in my room asking how everything was going, how the food was and if I had any bad experiences. I told her the food was good. The Nursez we re good. They answered my call light within 10 minutes.
Negative experience: This place is terrible and does not care for the patients.. They ignore your calls or emails, move patients to different felicity with the vicious attempt to not bring the patients back and not telling the truth. The current facility also told us that they do this all the time
Hi Alex,Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We sincerely apologize for your experience, as it does not reflect the standards we hold for our organization. Someone from our team will contact you directly so that the appropriate steps are taken to make this right.Thank you,Beecan Health Team
Negative experience: Besides barely taking any care of her & having no TV they lost all of her personal property when they moved her to a different room then chuckled at her like owe well who cares. Riverside community care was even worse.
Fantastic experience: When I was being transported from hospital to CPA I checked reviews online about the facility. 3.6 of 5 was acceptable then I read posted comments and thought this was probably going to be a short stay. But from the moment I was brought to my room room the staff has been amazing. Very professional and and kind. And would have to say the food was great. . And if you have to go to a place, this is the one one you should choose. Thanks to all the staff for a pleasant experience.
Negative experience: not even worthy of any star at all.they care more about profit than patients health. i had to call police to find out where my father was, they were improperly discharged and transferred my dad to another facility with out noticed my family and consent of the patient.the in room toilet would not flush for almost a year the entire time my dad was there. i mentioned it at least 10 times to the management but they did not care. the room smell horrible most off the times.they did get a citation from the health department for improper discharge and transfer of patient.
Negative experience: This place is horrible. I don’t understand how they are still open. The staff is neglectful and uncaring. Many times we found my father in-law in a state of neglect when we came to visit- we found him on the floor once after he had apparently fallen out of bed. Many times he was soaked, dirty, and unchanged. He would go hours without anyone checking on him. Do not go here for rehab or allow your loved ones to come here!
Hi Heather, we are so sorry to hear about this. Your experience is atypical for our residents and their families so we definitely want to look further into this and make this right. Upon looking at our records, we were unable to find such an occurrence, so we would like to reach out to get more clarification and identify the resident you're speaking of. Please reach out directly to us by either emailing the administrator at [email protected] or calling her directly at 951-736-4700 ext.4703. We look forward to connecting with you. Thank you, Beecan Health
Negative experience: This facility was really good when we first took my grandmother. Once they started changing ownership it went downhill. You call to talk to a nurse they don’t answer the phone. I’ve called for 2 days straight and each time I let the phone ring to the point it goes to the attendance voicemail. Nurses don’t check on the residents for 3-4 hours at a time if that.
Fantastic experience: This place is amazing! Staff is top notch especially James in administration! My father was dying back in December when he was admitted (under hospice) but now my father looks amazing and is doing very well thanks to the staff! Thank you so much for your hard work!
Fantastic experience: Staff are nice and treat residents/patients as family members. Facility is clean and orderly.
Positive experience: Overall my experience was very good. I visited my grandmother from out of state. I called and spoke to nurses and staff at the front desk and they were kind and helpful. During my visit the staff were also professional and kind with me and my grandmother and the clients. They handled the clients with care and attention to detail and treated them well. The nurses seemed to care and I was impressed with their calm attentive work. Chris R
Positive experience: I had a neat experience visiting your place.
Positive experience: The staff was very friendly. Everyone was proficiently and knowledgeable about the facility rules and regulations. The facility was clean. The patients and the patients rooms were clean.
Fantastic experience: Corona Post Acute provides quality of care and great rehabilitation services. The staff are friendly and helpful. Residents enjoy the comfort of like being in a home. I highly recommend Corona Post Acute.
Fantastic experience: Hi my name is Lisa Perry and I resign at Corona Post Acute I am at a very good facility home you have very good people here like the men of the ministrator Miss Heather you have emissions Miss Minnie Terraria and James and my case manager mr. Camilo excellent social worker EJ and Joanna you have a Southside Station that's excellent I rate them 100% your CNA latrease Karina Ava Sandra and Rosa very good CNAs I wouldn't trade them for the world here at Post Acute they keep all games and activities for the residents we have a ice cream parlor that's open on Tuesday Thursday and Sunday but the residents and I also have the RN here which is Percy excellent and very helpful,SP excellent a morning nurse named Julie excellent they make sure all residents have their medication every day they make sure residents is bathed and in clean everyday and that rooms are clean everyday beds in and sheets are changed every day covers every day and they make sure they're take their medication every day this is the best facility home I ever been in if you must have bring your loved ones here you would not have any regrets
Negative experience: I went to visit my grandmother there it smelled like poop please dont send your grandma or grandpa there ,my grandma was there and they gave her medication that was not authorized, she has a pacemaker they could of killed her ,she was yelling it wasn't her she had a Chemical imbalance so bad ,who knows what else they gave her ,my grandma put poop in her hair twice that's a Red flag and they should of had a shadow nurse on her every move to keep watching her .Then when I got to her room the nurse in her room said she wasn't in there she was in hall way so I go looking for her and she was no where to be found, but that was a lie she was in restroom in her room ,how dont u know my grandmother was in the restroom she came out and she had Syrup in her hair and she had no socks on it was freezing she look so different and confused plus the next day my other family went to see her and she had a bruised forehead now they moved her for they dont have to be responsible for nothing, It breaks my heart how can the facility be so heart less .
Negative experience: Wouldn't even give a star but there isn't a half star ! The worse place ever! Mold in my mom's straw...clothes missing....floor sticky....with food all over.. dust all over. She almost died from a UTI and dehydration. ..wow! Also my cousin went one evening to visit she could smell the urine , she asked them to change her...took an hour !
Negative experience: This place smells like a wasteland the strong smell of poop when you first walk in, i blame the supervisors. They should keep the smell under control. There's way too many patients and not enough professional staff and the residents literally roam the facility, its way out order. There's screaming mentally ill parients screaming 5 ft away from sane sick patients what kind of placement is that??? The only reason i gave it 1 star is because there are few staff that actually care about the well being of these people. My gramma was only there for 3 nights and the service sucked, some staff was very rude, and they told me and my family that her dialysis transportation would be arranged for 3 days , and when it came to it, they failed to secure transportation so we had to take a stroke patient on our own. The appropriate medicines were not given in the time of needed. Some weren't even given period! When the physical therapy came in the evaluate her, and them knowing she is a stroke patient with no good control of her self they had her get up with one tiny girl holding her by the shirt. When they are to have a special belt around the patient since there is fall risk. Wow there is so many things. I dont like to complain, but i seen the depression that was falling upon my grandmother and i took her out. Please if your consider this place , consider something of more quality, care for the patient. God bless i hope your loved one is worth it.
Fantastic experience: I visited a relative at Vista Cove in Carona. I was happy to find him happy and we’ll cared for. The staff was very pleasant and the facility was impeccably clean. The grounds are well maintained and we had the opportunity to sit outside and enjoy the weather. I would not want him to be anywhere else!
Positive experience: Vista Cove is a nice looki g facility and the staff is kind and friendly. When I arrived on a Saturday there was a check-in reception desk. However, there was no one there. There was a sign that says that all visitors should have visitor badges. That should be eliminated if there is no one to disg fa tribute them. There was an electronic sign-in / sign-out device--we utilized that. There was no one to direct us to our destination after sign in. We asked around and finally got directions. We visited our friend a leasr an half hour and stood the entire time because of lack of chairs. Sue, our friend we visited was happy being there and that was our main concern. If Vista Cove make a few adjustments, the facility would be awesome.
Fantastic experience: This facility is clean the personnel is very friendly and food is good thank you for takeing good care of my dad
Positive experience: Very difficult finding parking. One nurse talking too loud in hallway while instructing another staff member. This was near a dying man’s room, while his family were there.
Fantastic experience: As a Hospice Chaplain I arrived at Vista Cove to complete a spiritual assessment with my assigned patient. Arriving to his room and speaking with him I realize that he spoke very little English. I decided to go to the nurses station to see if I could receive some help from someone that spoke Spanish. As I was leaving his room another Vista Cove employee saw me and asked if I needed help. I inquired of her, If she spoke Spanish? She immediately came to translate for me with the patient. Not only were my needs being met to complete the spiritual assessment but most of all the patients needs were met. Patient requested prayer and a visit from a pastor of his faith. All was provided for him through the translation. Thank you Vista Cove for caring employees.

The grounds are well maintained and we had the opportunity to sit outside and enjoy the weather. I would not want him to be anywhere else!
Fantastic experience: The staff were thoughtful, attentive and compassionate as it relates to the care of my Mother. It's challenging seeing a loved one in her condition, so I appreciated the patience the staff had with my questions on her care.
Fantastic experience: Hello I want to thank Vista Cove for doing a wonderful job with the care of our loved one; we came from another facility and we were there only 2days and it was the worst experience ever at this other facility my love one was sent there to live out the last of her days and to be made comfortable well that was not the case God had another plan and the last say so. This place didn't have the decentsy to call us and let us know our love one has waken up since we have been with Vista Cove they update us on everything that's going on with my love one they answer any questions are if we have any concerns with her they get right back with us its a very clean facility they're caring friendly so if your looking for love and compassion for your love ones please Vista Cove and trust you will not be disappointed thanks again Vista Cove
Positive experience: We are grateful for corona post acute for excepting my brother Kevin. The facility is clean, the staff is really friendly. They comment on how they like my brother and that is special to us. He is being taken care of really good
Positive experience: My grandma is at this point in her life that she has to stay in the facility and she is doing well im glad she is happy
Negative experience: They touched me inappropriately
Negative experience: This place sucks ... my mom got sicker being in this joke of a place, bed sores, phenomena, infections DONT take your love one there. She only got shower on Tuesday's and Fridays .. I ask the nurse do you only shower twice a week ? Then why should she
Negative experience: My father is a patient. Dr requested a change in meds to prevent his blood pressure from dropping too low and he could engage in PT. In addition she requested a new med to be introduced to assist with getting his BP higher. After almost 2 weeks of continued low BP my mother inquired to find the change in meds never occurred. Today, after a dr visit we saw they reduced a medication required for his heart transplant with no approval from the dr. Very disappointed.
Positive experience: I didn't feel they made sure my dad ate what he was supposed to, they would make excuses for why they couldn't shower him, often I would hear from other nurses how the plsce is not good and there is not enough staff, plus, the place kind of smells. I was happy to get my dad out of there. I feel they have a lot to work on in terms of organization. They lost a lot of important documents my family had signed about what to do in potential circumstances so I had to sign again, and even when we would check him out, they would misplace the sign-in sheets and have to make new ones. Some of the nurses were very nice though
Positive experience: Last night my mother was taken to this facility. When I arrived it was 8:00pm and the nurse at the station greeted me kindly. She was helpful had a smile and directed me to where I needed to go. My mother was happy so far so I'm happy. I must admit a year earliar both my father and mother were here and the experience was poor. Why is she back? Insurance and available beds in the area. Yet I have hope that changes have taken place that will allow me to come back and give a 5 star review. I do know issues are not always the hard working staffs fault but the fault of the bottom line, profit. Let's hope the realization has taken place that long term profit and happy patience and family go hand-in-hand.
Fantastic experience: As far as the nursing comments about Filipinos. Good nurses, but can u handle team work if your eyes are slanded.
Fantastic experience: My dad was very happy and well taken care of here.all the staff were very friendly.
Positive experience: My husband was there 61 days...the staff is wonderful and food is good...they took great care of him...thank you all!!!

Fantastic experience: The staff is really caring and patient. Mike is a great caregiver, very patient. Most of the caregivers there are very nice. The place is pretty clean and undergoing renovations, activities are available for the residents. Even the food is not too bad! Mary, the case manager, keeps me up to date and really has been a great help. I definitely Recommend this place
Fantastic experience: My sweet friend has been in vista cove for some time now. She is going to be a very young 97 years old and we love her dearly!! She loves the nurses and that speaks peace to my ❤... I want to thank all those on staff at Vista cove. The one thing she would like to see is Bingo where she can win some money thankyou again!! J.kreisher cohen
Fantastic experience: Really enjoyed visiting Vista Cove staff was very friendly and helpful. Appreciated seeing the staff interacting with the patients. Patients were clean and appeared content.
Fantastic experience: This is my mother's second stay here. The care has greatly improved. I would further recommend that all staff smile and greet visitors. The care given is very good.
Fantastic experience: Visited my nephew two days in a row. Staff was friendly and kind. The facility was clean. Staff busy but still available to help.
Fantastic experience: Staff tend to sit around and chat with each other , ignoring patients calling numerous times for assistance. (Yes, personal, not work related)
Fantastic experience: Rachel came right out and was so gracious. She patiently listened to me with a prompt response. Very cordial...had to run next door for an emergency.
Negative experience: This place is horrible they really need to be investigated for every person who has got hurt or who has passed away at this place.Do not recommend this place for anyone.
Negative experience: Place ia dirty,no A/C during summer, many lawsuits for wrongful death
Positive experience: Great staff, and wonderful care
Negative experience: This facility was horrible for my dads care at end of life with hospice care needed. The LVN and RN would not provide proper care to my dad when in major pain.He suffered for days without his proper meds that hospice instructed them to do.They have no customer service needs at this facility for families loved ones.
Positive experience: It's a nice secluded spot up in corona, but the inside of this place just looks old. . . .they need to remodel and bring some life to this place .
Positive experience: The only great in this place is the Filipino nurses and CNA. Thank you guys... Filipinos are the best!!!
Negative experience: Its an average place. My Dad is here and you just always wished that your loved ones are in a place you don't worry about. This place is not reliable. Times I call and can't get through. When I do get through sometimes the nurse is unable to talk to me...I am told she will call me back. Doesn't happen. Not all nurses that my father has had are great. There are a few that do an awesome job. .reason I say is that my last visit to my dads nurse seemed bothered that I would come looking for her(I was there for 3 hrs she never came in to check my dad) so yeah I went looking for her. Unfortunately unable to move him due to health insurance ...
Fantastic experience: My dad spent his last year in Vista Cove. They took good care of him. They loved my dad. My dad loved them. When my father was passing away, he had the sweetest night shift nurses watch over him. When he passed the one nurse stayed and held his hand and prayed with Dad. I was 3 mins late getting there. It warmed my heart that she stayed so he wasn't alone. May God Bless the workers at these types of care centers. It's a hard job. Especially knowing that most will never get out alive.
Negative experience: Would not even get my friend a bedside commode so she could go to the bathroom. She's terminally Ill and too weak to walk all the way to the bathroom and sometimes have to push another heavyset older lady sleeping in her wheelchair
Negative experience: My grandma lives here and has had a horrible experience since they got a new director. Lynn is AWEFUL and harasses her daily. Stay away!
Negative experience: The food here sucks. No flavor. You see and hear other patients in the hallway asking for help all day and getting ignored. When you call the number posted on the website you never get an answer. In fact they sometimes just pick it up and hang up just to stop the ringing.
Negative experience: Came to visit an aunt I am sorry for her that she has to live there because Dr. recommended. This place is dirty and smelly carpet is a mess, the nurses are help less when a patient ask to be turned in the bed as they get tired of being in the same position for hours, they are not treating the patient with love when they have to change their clothes the nurses are rude seems like they are not getting paid for their job I saw a patient on her wheelchair her legs was hanging for hours the blood concentration was on her foot her legs was very swollen that if you touch them with your nails they will explot
