Focus On Health Physical Therapy

Fantastic experience: Incredibly healing experience that you'd be pressed to find elsewhere. All the therapists are like seal-team 6 level of expertise, each one with their own unique skill set. My family has struggled with various health issues and exhausted all the traditional options. My insurance doesn't cover my care but the value is well worth the out-of-pocket expense. After churning through the medical system it feels like I'm cutting right to the roots of my issues here. I can't over-sell how different the healing process is at Focus on Health. You will feel better the moment you walk in and talk to Amy, the office manager - humanizing and personal.

Fantastic experience: "I think we can really help you," Tara said after my first visit. I teared up then and still do now thinking about it. After having multiple doctors not know how to treat my chronic dizziness and neck pain, this response meant everything. It was a turning point, catharsis and relief all rolled into one. From that first visit, I had a renewed sense of hope. Tara's compassion, kindness and support as well as her passion, knowledge for the field and individualized holistic treatment have given me my life back. Fantastic experience: I feel extremely lucky to have found Focus On Health. FOH is a unique setting. One google reviewer described it as an “oasis,” which I agree with. The therapists look at the “whole body” with a focus on healing from the “inside out.” Having suffering from knee pain for years, (even after having surgery to correct the problem in the first place, I continued to have pain), I finally found relief by going to FOH. The therapists are AMAZING, educating me about the methods they use and how their treatments affect my body, inside and out. And I feel the difference! Their expertise not only relieved my knee pain but by learning about their other therapeutic practices (e.g. Visceral manipulation), I saw changes and felt improvement in other areas of my body! Thank you to all of the FOH staff! I will continue to refer others to your practice.

Fantastic experience: FOH is fantastic! Tara, Kim, and Miriam have given me an entirely new avenue to improving my health. I had oral cancer, which left me with a glass jaw, poor speech, and difficulty swallowing... these are very complex and intractable problems. After just 6 sessions, I can see definite progress. The therapists are very highly skilled, and they also have been jumping in to explore emotional causes of my problems, which I have invited. Going forward I will be working more on the emotional aspect. You can't go wrong, the office is an oasis of kindness and good cheer, and with the talent they've shown me, I believe they can help anyone, with any physical problem. I just wish I knew of this place 10 years ago.

Fantastic experience: I started coming to Focus on Health about 2 years after I had a baby. I had massive back pain that was not resolving after having my daughter. To make matters worse, I broke my tailbone during delivery so I was in extreme pain with sitting. I also have scoliosis, muscle weakness, disc issues, and soft tissue pain. When I first came to Focus on Health, I could hardly walk or sit. I had an extremely hard time doing day-to-day tasks. I could hardly watch my daughter on my own, as I could not carry her. I had done cortisone injection, physical therapy, and acupuncture elsewhere and nothing was giving me relief. I thought I was doomed to a life of never knowing if I would need to spend the day in bed and in pain. Focus on Health was different than anything I had ever experienced! Kim, Tara, Andrea, Michelle, Jeff, and Amy are all amazing! I had my initial consult with Kim and she listened to my entire story, connecting dots about my health history and gave me a plan to resolve the issues with my pain as a whole. So far I am doing many things in life again that I haven't been able to do - working, enjoying time with my daughter on my own {without help from family}, walking at the beach, and traveling for work! I would like to encourage anyone reading this to check out Focus on Health - they are all amazingly talented, skilled at how they approach each individual health situation, and very attentive to detail.
