Fantastic experience: As an active athlete, ex crossfitter marathoners, I have had many injruies, and I have tried so many physical therapists in the Boston area. And everytime one feels like 'one more of the bunch' very limited guidance, and takes a really long time to see progress for that specific injury and just look at that body part. When I came to Rob I realized that he is the most hands on knowledgeable therapists that I have ever worked with that can help you gain mobility, strength not just for that injury/joint but your entire body. As an athlete, Rob also understands the entire body and its mechanics, and can treat you as a whole. I worked with Rob as he helped me recover from my bicep tenedosis surgery in a very short time, and I was able to see progress in every session, and also closely followed the instructions of my surgeon to ensure a proper recovery. He works with you to ensure you can do the exercises correctly in order to get stronger to have a full life without limitations. I have also a hip labral tear, and he has also helped me gain strength in my lower body and he can also do muscle release and graston, which not many therapists can do. I have never met someone who is as knowledgeable, caring, thoughtful and such a good listener to your physical needs and provides customized exercises that you can do at home reliably everytime. He really understands the human body and cares about your progress and recovery. I can not recommend him enough.

Fantastic experience: Rob is amazing! I have been his patient for many years and have seen him for different body issues/pains. He was the only one who could help me with my lower back after seeing many other specialists through the years. He is knowledgeable, dedicated, explains the issues with clarity, and truly cares about his patient's recovery and level of activity. I have referred Rob to all my family members and friends and everyone always thanks me for sending them to him!

Fantastic experience: Rob diagnosed the cause of a long time issue I had had with kneecap subluxation. He was very thorough in his evaluation of my body and my gait, and asked extremely thoughtful questions that led to his diagnosis. He gave me a very specific treatment plan that addressed the problem. I have since returned to Rob for another injury and he followed up with me two days later to see how I was feeling. Where many PT operations can feel cookie-cutter, Rob takes the time to truly understand the root cause of the problem. I am grateful for his expertise!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dr. Strachan for many years, as have three other members of my family. He has always taken the best care of our various injuries, and provided the best physical therapy we've ever had. In my case, he was the only one out of a myriad of doctors and physical therapists over five years to accurately diagnose my chronic-pain-causing issue. He offers both spectacular care, deep knowledge, and referrals to other doctors/services for more specific problems that PT can't solve alone. I would recommend him to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I have used Dr. Strachan for a number of years for both Ironman/triathlon coaching and for the pains that come with being an aging multisport endurance athlete. He's very thorough in his approach, and always designs a program based on my fitness levels and goals. He's also very responsive on individual workouts as the results are posted, making adjustments as necessary. When physical issues have come up, he's worked with me to get me back on track as quickly as possible. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their racing performance, and to fix whatever physical issues are slowing you down.
