At Resurgence, our focus is on treating not only addiction but also the underlying causes and co-occurring disorders like trauma and other mental health conditions. Due to the way it affects the brain and the body, alcohol is a difficult substance to detox from. You should not attempt to detox from alcohol on your own. It is strongly recommended to use a medically assisted treatment (MAT) program under supervision by a qualified alcohol detox specialist so you can remain safe, and avoid discomfort. The severity of withdrawal symptoms varies from person to person, depending on factors like your age, body weight, metabolism, how much alcohol you were consuming and for how long, and other variables like genetics.
At Resurgence, our detox program takes place in a home-like room, with qualified clinical caregivers available 24 hours a day. They will administer medications as needed so that no severe withdrawal symptoms occur, and you can rest comfortably as you detox. Psychiatric medications may be administered to those with a co-occurring condition so that their dual diagnosis treatment can begin.
Alcohol detox generally takes about five days, but the timeline varies from patient to patient. We will also introduce therapy and counseling so that you can work through any emotional issues or trauma that may come up during this difficult period. We want to ensure that nobody suffers unnecessarily through this period, physically and psychologically.
Medically assisted drug detox is the first stage of a drug addiction treatment program. When you stop taking any drug that creates a physical dependence, your body begins to adjust, causing withdrawal symptoms to occur.
Symptoms can become serious to life-threatening if untreated. This is why medically assisted treatment (MAT) is important. As detox is only a short-term solution and does not cure addiction, the next step is to move into our rehab facility for a 30-, 60-, or 90-day program that includes therapy, education, rest, and activities, all in a program designed by you and our staff to get you to where you want to be in life.
After your alcohol detox in California, you will be moved into our residential rehab program, which is located in the same facility. Your rehabilitation plan will have been worked out with you during our intake procedures, where we interview you, do a physical and mental health screening, and find out about your history, your goals, and your life. Once you have stabilized from your drug detox, you will be ready to move into our residential rehab facility, which is located in the same place as the detox facility. You wonât have to get new doctors and figure out any transfers, everything takes place in the same location, with the same care providers.

With our short-term program, you will still have a full month away from temptations and old habits, with therapy, education, and relaxation, so you can re-train your brain and figure out the best way to return to life, and what changes need to be made so you can live confidently in recovery.

Resurgence California Alcohol & Drug Rehab: Reviews
Negative experience: I interviewed many places and chose Muse. Their medicated detox was touted as being very individualized and current. My son arrived on a Thursday evening. On Friday evening I received a call that my son was in considerable physical pain but doing fine otherwise. The next day (2 days after he arrived) I learned that NO MEDS at all had been prescribed yet for his "supervised, medicated detox." I spent the better part of the day trying to get them to have the detox medication administered to him but to no avail - just promises: "a couple of hours" - which he had been told when he checked in two days before. A "couple of hours" turned into 36, then 40 hours and I finally had to pick him up (at his insistence). I must say that outside of that ineptitude, he really liked the facility and the staff that he said was super open-minded and sensitive and understood why he needed to leave - it was beyond their control. So overall, probably great for residential treatment as long as you do not need medicated detox.

Negative experience: Based on my phone conversation there is no way I would ever attend, or allow a family member to attend any facility even remotely connected with Resurgence!!! Anthony was especially rude!!! Go to an actual rehab facility!!!! Not here! I doubt this even qualifies as sober living!

Positive experience: i was at the madison location april - may of this year. all the techs were nice crystal the therapist was rude and joked about my trauma to my face. hopefully she got in trouble. it was a decent experience before that happened.

Fantastic experience: What an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING facility, the staff ..... Stunning, amazing, passionate and nothing less than ALL in to see you through the steps to sobriety. Positive experience: I was apart of Balboa Island we were literally a block away from the pacific ocean. We attended groups sometimes at the beach. Most staff was hella welcoming, supportive, and helpful. Groups were hit and miss, but my favorite facilitator was Geoffrey he had a great way of breaking things down and helping breakthrough the confusion of myy mind up. Thankful to all of the people who worked so so hard to make it happen for me and my partner!

Positive experience: I am currently at Balboa Island with my gf and we are leaving in 2 days to IOP. I would recommend this place. I'm literally 2 blocks away from the beach which is cool. They take us to Target runs every week and vape runs too. Being a couple in RTC can have its drawbacks but it's pretty typical everywhere you go so I get it. Staff is pretty cool and groups are really helpful in my recovery. As far as detox goes it's a good place to be with nice scenery.

Fantastic experience: I was out of my comfort zone from my normal situation, but with the welcoming staff and clients along with a very clean environment in the house close to the beach, I couldn’t be more pleased with the 31 days I was there. Fantastic experience: Hi! I'm Sammie from Enid Oklahoma and I checked into Resurgence Newport Beach detox at Balboa on April 18, 2023. I was in detox for 39 days and I had a transformation that I couldn't ever have dreamed of having anywhere else. When I first got there for intake at Balboa, I found out that I was pregnant and I was 9 months into my drug habit! Resurgence guided me through the next steps during my miscarriage and stayed with me all the way through my hospital visit when the miscarriage went sepsis. I was hospitalized for 3 days. When I was discharged they took me back in with open arms and I couldn't have been more blessed with the knowledge that I received from the staff, group facilitator's, and clients. After I graduated detox and residential, I was transferred to outpatient in Fountain Valley at Cedar. I absolutely loved this house and the vibe I felt here. Most of all, your voice is heard by the staff members, directors, managers, etc. I truly felt true love and gratitude with my recovery family and I'll never forget the kindness, happiness and hospitality they had showed me until the very last day! Fantastic experience: Resurgence literally saved my life. From day one I knew I was where I was supposed to be. They went above and beyond, they done everything they possibly could to make me comfortable. Lauren was the most compassionate, she loved me thru the hard days. Nikki was the one that truly helped get and me clean , every day she gave me the motivation to get off methadone and stay off methadone matience or any kind of maintenance, she gave me faith that people can recover. Fantastic experience: I loved it here, and I never thought I would say that abt a rehab. The staff is amazing, they care so much abt each and everyone of the clients. We go on fun outings multiple times throughout the week, so you never feel like you are stuck in the house all the time. The group facilitators they bring to run groups are top tier. Thanks to Resurgence I don’t think I will be going to rehab again, but if I do, I will definitely be coming back here!!

Fantastic experience: Resurgance (balboa) not only saved but changed my life! I was really hesitant on going to balboa at first considering it is an all women’s program- but those were the best and most transformative 34 days of my entire life. Im 26 years old and this was maybe my 11th inpatient rehab I’ve been to since I was 12. There’s some kind of magic at balboa I swear. The groups are so in depth and personal- you truly have no choice but to get real and vulnerable with yourself and the girls around you. Recovery isn’t for people who just want it- but actually do it. And at balboa you’ll put in the time and effort to get recovery. The case manager Trish is absolutely amazing and she’ll help you out with absolutely anything you need plus your after care plans. The staff will become like family to you and they really do their best to help suit everyone’s needs. I by no means was an easy client with my strict dietary needs (organic and vegan) but even with that they did their best to accommodate me. They even would take us to the beach and the staff would get in the water with us! I’ve never been in a program with such involved staff. They even would let me surf. At nighttime we’d spend time together making cookies, watching movies, playing games and I swear it’s been only 5 months since I’ve left but I truly miss them everyday and the memories we’ve made I will treasure forever. Balboa taught me how to be a woman , how to have genuine connections, talk and trust women… I will be forever grateful to them. Lauren, Carina, Trish, Kaitlyn…. I love you guys. You saved me. You helped me find myself. Don’t hesitate! Just take a leap of faith and dive into this magical place.

Fantastic experience: Arrived at Resurgence with addiction and behavior health issues that I have been battling my entire adult life. I required detoxification, residential treatment, and a complete overhaul of my current ineffective mental health treatment. Therapy was introduced to my regimen and I was able focus on my recovery in a comfortable environment that felt more like a home than anything else. Fantastic experience: My experience here at Resurgence was absolutely wonderful. Incredible staff members that actually treat you with dignity and respect. People I could very easily trust and interact with. I was extremely impressed with how patient they were with me. Group facilitators never failed to bring us relevant topics and useful tools we need to achieve long term sobriety. Food was catered to us, and never failed to be delicious every single meal. I have been to many different treatment centers, and was really starting to lose hope of there being any real recovery left. But Resurgence is not your typical cookie cutter treatment facility. They provided effective therapy, group and individual...they helped me find work...they helped me with my legal issues, and they even gave me the information I needed to get sober, and stay sober. This place honestly changed my life for the better and I know they could do the same for you!

Fantastic experience: Great facility with even better staff! It literally changed my life! They really care about the clients! Offered everything from yoga to massages to dream analysis and even a dietitian! It's really was the best place I could have asked for! By the grace of God I found this place and they put me on a plane the next day. It's everything they say it is. Negative experience: This place is horrible! My wife was in here just for a short time. The care was so awful I had her moved to another facility. They kept most of her stuff as they kicked her out the front door because I told her I was switching her to a new place. They kept at least 2 new bottles of perfume that I had just purchased. $200+ down the drain for that, and wasted 4 days in there where she could have been getting real care.

Negative experience: Facility has no organization between chain of command. I was aware of at least 3 mishandlings of medications just within 2 weeks. When clients are in need of serious physical medical care staff complained before and during the process. When having to return to urgent care/ER because physical issues were not being resolved staff continued to complain about having to do it. After having problem after problem staying in this facility I was finally able to talk to the program director and was told that if any more problems ensued to ask staff and I would be able to speak to him directly. When there continued to be issues and I did exactly that, I was treated with nothing but disrespect. Facility tried to force both my roommate and I into a quarantine after being medically cleared by a hospital and having discharge paperwork stating specifically that the skin condition I had developed was NOT CONTAGIOUS. The lower level staff (nurses and BHTs) are phenomenal, but the problems with communication between chain of command and the way the program is run overall, should be considered gross misconduct.
Negative experience: Balboa boulevard in Newport Beach is a decent location, but the admissions people are designed to lie to you and they will tell you whatever you want to hear to get you in. You go two weeks without your phone and they tell you you can't leave against medical advice only because they want to suck everything out of your insurance. There's no air condition in any of the buildings in California and they say they concentrate on mental health which is the bare minimum of everything. They basically do the bare minimum and spend the bare minimum. Even though your insurance pays a lot, The food is mediocre and the care is mediocre. If you get better, it's because you pretty much do it on your own

Negative experience: EDITED… READ BELOW… I started my recovery at Advanced Recovery Solutions. Ive been at Pacidic Manor Recovery for almoat three weeks now and I absolutely love it here. I go home tomorrow and have to say in a way it saddens my heart. Ive learned more than I thought possible. Ive been blessed with an amazing staff including my claims manager Kimberly, therapist Amanda, program manager James, David Mendez for the amazing amd much needed outdoor hikes and his motivation to never give up on myself. Let’s just say I won’t ever recommend this place to anyone. The staff made promises of aftercare (Dynamic Virtual IOP) I could receive after I got home all to be told that I wasn’t eligible because of the state I lived in. I was initially told I wouldn’t ever receive a bill because one my insurance company would cover it. Well I just received a $10k bill eight months later. My last day there I was so excited to get my coin and have everyone put something into it but that never happened I was never given a coin out, a certificate showing I completed the 30day inpatient program or so much as any heartfelt goodbyes. Instead, I was waiting around, down and depressed because I was denied all of my morning medication, didn’t receive any heartfelt goodbyes from the staff and was over an hour late getting to the airport which resulted in a $150 check in luggage fee due to not having time to switch items around to adjust bag weight instead having to run the entire way to my after going through the security check point (which was an easy process surprisingly, thank you TSA). To make a long story short.. (A)dvanced (R)ecovery (S)olutions is a joke. Nothing they say can be trusted as they’re literally just there to be paid.. it’s sad but true. I relapsed three months later
Negative experience: HORRIBLE experience! The mental health program it is a complete disaster. Staff was useless, including the program director! No one paid any attention to safety. Razors, knives all over the place. I was given other clients medication! I was discharged without warning in the middle of my stay, resulting with no place to go. ( I traveled to resurgence) without any help or resources. No help with after care, or even a ride to the airport! First time in treatment and I came out worse then when I arrived.
Fantastic experience: Resurgence is an amazing program. The staff really cares about the clients. They offer a comprehensive treatment experience that gives their clients the opportunity to learn new coping skills to change there lives. Resurgence has helped so many people return to a normal life without drugs and alcohol.

I spoke with a woman named Alyssa and she did everything she could to secure a bed and a plane ticket to get me out here from Oklahoma and once I got here the staff was amazing and they honestly cared about me and treated me with the utmost respect and dignity and guided me through my detox and when it was time to move on I didn’t want to leave but they help set me up with an iop program that best suited me and now I’ve completely turned my life around. I will always be immensely grateful to resurgence and all the people there who influenced my recovery.
Fantastic experience: Being my first time in rehab I didn’t know what to expect. From day 1 to day 75 I was treated like family not a client or addict. All levels of staff were professional, kind and attentive. I learned many coping skills I never knew existed. The atmosphere at campus and at all the houses are safe, warm and well kept , and minutes from the beach. I definitely chose the right recovery the first time out.

Negative experience: Super shady program. They manipulate young people by confusing them with insurance policy terminology that they don't have much knowledge of. Then later will start billing your family members for fees that didn't even exist while you were there. I'm writing this review because I was personally there and they are a breeding ground for revolting and absolutely heinous habits. Send a sober person there, and they will come out injecting heroin...

Negative experience: This review is not about the staff or capabilities of this rehab… this is about the way this rehab was “sold” … a total bait and switch…we were looking for a rehab for our son in order to detox him off of methadone fentanyl and benzo‘s. We were assured that There rehab facilities would do a methadone taper. In addition, we were told this would be in a home environment and we were specifically told it was a “luxury“ rehab. We’ve been to dozens of rehabs and I am certain you could get clean anywhere. They had a hard time finding a bed but finally found one at their Riverside location called Pacific Manor Rehab. We drove into this neighborhood which was completely dilapidated, the facility itself looks like in abandoned old apartment building that’s being used as a rehab, windows were off the tracks, there’s a trailer park across the street and everything is surrounded by chain-link fences. It was nothing like we had been told. Inside, it was very reminiscent of an old hospital with white walls and nothing else. The staff was welcoming and assured us that they all have had experience in their own recovery. I have no doubt that they may be able to deliver what they said, but the kicker was that they do not taper off of methadone. They offer something called a codeine bridge. The entire experience felt like a bait and switch. The facility felt like a county run type facility, not one through private pay health insurance. If we had been told exactly what to expect, in treatment and atmosphere, we wouldn’t have had such a visceral reaction to the entire thing. When you’re dealing with addiction there’s enough lies already, that you don’t need the lies also coming from the rehab admissions people! So disappointing.
Fantastic experience: If I could put into words how this company changed my life... I would... but the truth is I cannot. I cannot verbalize adequately enough how Resurgence completely saved me. Saved me from my lifestyle & my addiction. Saved me from my warped mindset and gave me a sense of hope that allows me to actually live again & truly love myself for me. Resurgence saved me from the prison I locked myself in mentally, gave my kids their mom back, gave me a life worth living and taught me how to get honest with myself. From the groups, to the therapy, to the outdoor activities, daily morning Meditation... this program gave me a foundation in which I built my sobriety from the ground up on. I am blessed to be able to help other alcoholics/addicts like they once helped me. “We can’t keep what we don’t give away.” Help another suffering addict today. Help them find peace. Help them find H.O.P.E. Hold On Peace Exists Had I never found Resurgence, I would’ve never found Peace. & for that I cannot thank them enough.
Fantastic experience: This place definitely changed my life. I’ve been in and out of many different treatment centers and this one was different. A lot of the staff are previous clients of the facility so they definitely make you feel at home. My favorite group facilitators were Tim and Geoffrey! I’ve never had the support even after treatment than what this place provided. They always check up on graduated clients after they leave. Camile and Erin are definitely the girls to go to if you have a problem or an issue. The case manager Sean is pretty cool too I guess

My sister went to this program and in return I have my sister back and her kids have their mom back. She is about to be 9 months sober and working in recovery helping others succeed in having long term sobriety as well. Thank you Resurgence for giving my sister back to me!
Fantastic experience: Resurgence helped me find the willingness to be at peace with myself. They opened the door to allow me to expose the scars I laid hidden in my heart for so long. The staff are very supportive and show nothing but love and empathy for their clients. I finally found a place that helped me feel like I finally belong. They have an excellent facilitator who taught me “Life happens for me not to me. I no longer have to be a victim. Today I am a victor.”
Fantastic experience: Resurgence is a great program with a real helpful Staff. I ran into some issues with my insurance company, but they were so helpful in helping me figure everything out and transitioning to the next level of care. I am very grateful to have been a part of this program and will continue on my recovery journey.
Fantastic experience: i appreciated my time here very much one thing that i found very helpful was the staff, they really seemed to care about the clients and did their best to tend to what we needed. we attended lots of groups which at first was not something i was looking forward to just based off of past experiences with other facilities but was surprised to see how much i enjoyed them and learned from the facilitators.They really were aware of how they kept it fresh every group was different, fun, and, very informative in their own way

I have been to many different facilities over the past 15 years. I found that the staff here was better than any other staff I have worked with. Fantastic experience: I went through resurgence 6 months ago and I absolutely loved it. This place changed my life. Everything about it was great. The staff is absolutely incredible! They care so much, and they do so much for you and make sure you are well taken care of. The facilities and their locations are absolutely beautiful, comfortable, and clean. The whole atmosphere of this place is lovely. I wouldnt have wanted to go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Resurgence behavior health has been one of the most caring & loving facilities I’ve ever been too. It’s really showed me the difference between hope & faith. I have more faith in the universe & my self than I’ve ever felt before. Having the support of resurgence has really gave me a feel for what community/family feels like. Negative experience: Be careful with this treatment center! New center with all the bells and whistles! Smoke and mirrors! Owner and Program Directors of Resurgence were Solid Landings which was closed first quarter 2016 for breaking local, state and federal laws. After reading each of their reviews on Google they appear to be bought from a marketing company that give five star "False" reviews. So in addition to being criminals it appears they are dishonest as well! Too bad because they show really nice on website and social media. Look elsewhere for treatment many good centers with honesty and integrity that actually know how to treat the disease of addiction.
Negative experience: Unfortunately I was in a time crunch and I called this organization. My family member stayed 30days for detox. During the stay all communication was dropped by their onsite team members. No call was returned. She was moved with no notification to the family. Her checkout time after 30days could not be confirmed. I do not recommend Resurgence. Familys beware, it's not professionally staffed in my opinion.
Positive experience: I came to resurgence as a walk in. They showed dedication from the start, not only that but most of all they CARE, and have true knowledge about recovery and relapse prevention. The care and treatment team are absolutely hands down some of the best in the area. They walked me through how and why I did what I did for so long and how to correct it. Very insightful and gave me the tools I’d need to make the next step in my recovery! I was a hard case but the team was patient and gave me some of the best care I’ve ever had. I am now able to recognize and pin point when/where I’m triggered and stop it BEFORE it happens. Just all in all a very solid program. Thank you Resugence for showing me my way back to recovery and a productive lifestyle!! Love all you all!!
Fantastic experience: This place changed my heart, mind and sobriety. I was able to get amazing therapy from Cel, healing for trauma through past experiences that psychologically effected past sobriety & led to my relapse. I learned tools for changing negative/irrational thinking to be happier and healthier bodily & mentally. I gained back my AA fellowship with support of staff taking us to meetings. I was offered EMDR for trauma healing and NAD/ vitamin infusions that help heal the mind and body as well as detoxing the body. I am happy and sober and able to live my life successfully now! Fantastic experience: The attentive staff made sure all my needs were met I couldn’t have asked for a better team of people. Intense one on one therapy sessions and small intimate groups helped me to better understand myself. Housing felt like a home an the staff and residents quickly became a family. Numerous outings helped to break up any monotony. If you need help on your journey, Resurgence will lay out an amazing road map to recovery.
Fantastic experience: To start off, I am from Puyallup WA and I am 25 years old. Since I was 16 i have struggled with drugs and alcohol. The moment i decided i needed help because i couldnt do it on my own, i called around rehabs on washington but all of them were full. However, once i decided to look out of state, that's where i found resurgence. My journey through this rehab facility save my life. I talked to jesse from admissions and he was able to get me on a plane just 4 hours later. I have learned so much through this program; such as, coping skills, anger management, self esteem and life skills. This journey has helped me find out who i truly am during this process and i couldnt be more thankful to the staff. The staff was able to make me so unbelievably comfortable having this be my first treatment center. Every single morning you are greeted with smiles and love to which turned into an amazing sister good between staff and clients. I could have not asked for a better place to have helped me fight my addiction to alcohol and cocaine. I decided to stay 2 months to get anything and everything from this process. I am currently moving on to sober living because I am not the same person who I was when I came in. I am confident, positive and have such a different mindset and it's all thanks to resurgence. I highly recommend this treatment center because they help anyone and everyone with their addiction no matter what the addiction is and I couldnt be more grateful for resurgence. They changed my life for the better and I now feel confident to take the next step in my recovery!

Fantastic experience: When I came to Resurgence's this wasn't my first go at getting treatment. I was broken in more ways then one. Staff was quick to make me feel welcome and wanted. Most places I have gone to have always made me feel like a number, not a person. Kevin who is the Director at Resurgence had faith in me from the very start. At that point I had given up hope in myself that I could ever get this right. Everyone there took their time and somehow managed to get me back to a place where I had hope. Fantastic experience: My names Abigail , and I came in here with bryce ! ! I had no way of paying and begged for there help and they were kind enough to scholarship me for the whole 90 ! It was a blessing!!!! This was the first program I actually stuck through and it was well worth it! Bryce was only supposed to have 45 days here with insurance and they let him stay the whole 90 as well! They were very attentive and helped me through the toughest time of my life! I came in here at my lowest point and each and every staff member was more then supportive of my situation and had my back through and through ! they did everything they could to help ! I want to thank this program and all the Staff here ! You guys were amazing ! Literally one of the best experiences of my life, I had so much fun connecting with the amazing staff/clients and with every weekly beach trip or experience we had!!! I highly recommend resurgence to anyone struggling in their time of need, you will be cared for and treated like a human!!! It’s by far a five out of five experience and wouldn’t hesitate to come back if circumstances required it!!!
Fantastic experience: One of the best places my son has been to! This Facility is very different, and is like no other. They went over and beyond to help my son, Tyler, in so many ways. They are very personable and don’t treat you like just another client. They treated my son with such care and compassion and did everything possible to accommodate him. Living in a different State than my son, it was very difficult for me, as a Parent, to be able to be there, physically for him. This Facility brought so much ease to my mind and my heart. The Staff are exceptionally helpful and caring and always kept me “in the loop” and made me feel more at ease and comfortable with his situation. I knew he was under great care. His Case Manager was an Angel and kept me posted all the time. Kevin was so supportive and I can’t thank him enough for everything he has done. This Facility is one of a kind, and I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who is in need of treatment. Thank you again, to my son’s Case Manager (Aleesia), House Manager (Drake), James, and especially Kevin!! Fantastic experience: Resurgence Behavioral Health is AMAZING to say the least... Looking back at where I was in life compared to now there are no amount of words that could ever explain my heart felt grattitude towards Resurgence. The staff members are amazing, most of them have been through similar experiences an understand that sometimes the road to recovery isn't the easiest. But not one of them are willing to give up on you! The therapy and groups are very helpful and really target the reasons why we do what we do an help teach us skills to turn our life around into the right direction!!! I would recommended this treatment facility to anyone that feels like they don't have any hope left, they feel like they have no where to turn, or they just want Help! Fantastic experience: It has taken me some time to write this review because I cannot put into words what Resurgence has done for my life. I came here from Utah. From the time I was picked up at the airport the staff has genuinely poured their hearts into my Recovery. I would especially like to Thank Dayna Whitty for taking me under her wing and showing me love like I was her own blood. Erin, just know it is because of you and Dayna that I will make it. That the love, tolerance and kindness that you showed me because of you I can get up and fight the day. I take a little piece of all the staff with me. I love each and everyone of them. I believe you where brought into my for a reason so Thank you. this is my 1st Rehab and because of the knowledge and tools this place has shown me I know it will be my last. when I think of the staff there it brings tears to my eyes. Fantastic experience: Thorough, thoughtful, and therapeutic. This treatment center is nothing short of life-changing. When I googled "alcohol detox" and Resurgence was the first link I noticed, I had absolutely no idea that the call I was about to make was going to propel me onto a path to becoming my best self. Within 24 hours of contacting admissions I was heading to the airport. There's a saying I've heard before, that you've only got 15 minutes to save an addict's life, and Resurgence understands this. The window is small in regards to bouts of clarity and had Jesse from admissions not been so attentive I may have lost the confidence in my decision to seek help. The atmosphere is comfortable, bordering on luxurious. When I envisioned rehab this is almost the opposite of what I was expecting. I arrived at Resurgence broken and lost. I had gotten to a point in my life where I could not continue on harming myself and the relationships around me. I knew I wanted and needed help. The journey of recovery is individualized, and what works for me may not work for you. However, the broad options of treatment that Resurgence offers allow one to partake in activities that best fulfill their specific needs. From hikes and days at the beach, to alternative activities that involve book studies or worksheets designed to help you see, on paper, what your behaviors are triggered by. Daily groups with your peers and hitting outside meetings help to round out your experience, providing you with fun in recovery and a chance to dig deep. They provide everyone with a therapist and a case manager who is there to aid you in anything that needs tending to out there in the real world , be it court paperwork or FMLA documents for your place of work. The staff is outstanding and I could not have imagined a stronger web of support while going through such a painful transition. There isn't a single staff member here that hasn't helped me in one way or another. I won't say that Resurgence makes getting sober easy because sobriety is forever and it is HARD. But I wholeheartedly believe that with the encouragement I received from the staff and clients here my desire to be better each day than I was the day before has only increased and I am going home to my children as the mother they deserve. This is a safe place. This is where you can come to discover your beauty and strength. You are not alone, and Resurgence is here to welcome you home.

Many centers focus on the wrong things, the business side, but not this company. From day one the staff made me feel welcome, and as if i could accomplish the things i have failed to complete in the past. My family was always allowed to come and visit me on Sundays, as well as call and speak with myself and staff about any concerns they may have had. Fantastic experience: Nothing is harder than watching a close loved one’s life spiral out out of control and the feelings of powerlessness that accompany it. Our numerous attempts at recovery programs, aa/ na meetings, and therapy had yielded only temporary results. I was at my wits end when a friend recommended that we try Resurgence. While skeptical, I decided to give it a shot, as it seemed we had little left to lose. Am I sure glad i did! In as little as a few months, I have whitenessed drastic improvements in my loved ones attitude, behavior, and physical appearance. While we’re not yet completely in the clear, i am confident that their supportive and transparent staff will get us there. It’s an absolute first class rehabilitation program. Fantastic experience: When searching for treatment for yourself or a loved one the most crucial piece is finding a facility that welcomes you with open arms, cares about your recovery, and guides you along the way, without judgement, enabling you to build a foundation from which to flourish. Resurgence is that facility. It's place where you can start over and build the life you never knew was possible. I have worked in the industry for quite some time and I can confidently say that if I had a loved one that needed to hit the reset button, Resurgence would be my number one choice.
