Connecticut Children's at Norwalk Hospital's Pediatric Development & Therapy Center

Positive experience: We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Lasher (who's unfortunately no longer part of the practice). After years of wondering, testing and evaluations, she finally provided us for a Dx that allowed us to understand what our daughter was suffering from and ultimately led to an IEP for her. Getting an appointment can take a long time (possibly because this is the only place of this type in Fairfield County that's in network with many insurances)---even longer than expected because of the compulsory nurse screening before EACH appointment. That adds months to the timeline and makes school-related decision-making very difficult. I hope Dr. Lasher's "replacement" will be as talented, kind and compassionate as she is. However, note that the practice only handle INITIAL appointments (and follow-up with the nurse if you need Rx). You won't be able to get your child re-assessed or tested for co-morbidities past your first appointment.
