Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Lia. I started seeing Lia about 5 months post partum after my first baby. I had gone somewhere else for pelvic floor PT during pregnancy and then immediately post partum and was not happy, I didn't feel like I was getting the one on one attention I needed. I am so glad that I found Lia at Michigan Pelvic Rehab and Wellness, she is knowledgeable and great at explaining what I should be doing and how I should be feeling with various movements. She gave me the one on one attention I was looking for! I also loved the home exercise program that encouraged me to do the movements at home and came with instructional videos for when I was doing the moves at home. I appreciate her time and patience with me!

Fantastic experience: I found Dr. Lia as I was searching the area for pelvic floor therapists to assist with postpartum recovery. Since the very first appointment around 8 week postpartum, Dr. Lia has been the absolute best. Seriously, if you need a pelvic floor therapist and require pregnancy or postpartum assistance, book an appointment with Dr. Lia – you won’t regret it. In fact, even if you don’t think you need a pelvic floor therapist during pregnancy or postpartum, still book an appointment. First and foremost, Dr. Lia is extremely professional and personable. She takes time to get to know you, your hobbies, your lifestyle, your symptoms, etc. so she can help provide the best and most realistic care possible. In each of our appointments, I felt like she was a good friend helping me out and someone I could place the utmost trust in for my recovery. She was comforting, always listening and truly has a passion for helping people. In terms of her recommendations and care, Dr. Lia would thoroughly explain the “why” behind how I was feeling and geared exercises/stretches towards what would work best for me. I felt like I received a crash course in how my body worked and where I was compensating muscles just through my appointments with Dr. Lia. Because of her explanations and assistance, I can identify when I need to perform certain exercises/stretches and how to be in tune with my body. Perhaps the most rewarding part of my time with Dr. Lia was she re-instilled confidence in me and who I am. As someone whose body changed due to pregnancy and postpartum, Dr. Lia helped me to properly learn how to recover for my lifestyle and truly empowered me to speak up if things didn’t feel right so I could feel comfortable and powerful in my new self. I will definitely be coming back to Dr. Lia for future pregnancies and postpartum care.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Lia Palomino, Michigan Pelvic Rehab & Wellness LLC, has been providing Physical Therapy treatments for my pelvic floor conditions sense 8-2-22. Fantastic experience: Lia is amazing physical therapist. Very knowledgeable, great hands on skills but most important makes you feel safe and comfortable. Highly recommend- you do not have to suffer with incontinence or pelvic pain. So much can be done to help.
