Fantastic experience: Great care, convenient location and staff. My therapist is Parker. One thing I like about him vs other PTs I’ve been to in the past is he doesn’t babysit me. He shows me the exercises that will help, explains why, makes sure I know how to do them, and then I can go, and it’s up to me to do them. In the past PTs have had me come in as much as 3x as often, as far as I can tell so they could watch me do exercises. Parker’s approach is much better suited to self motivated people who value their time.

Over the past 2 months, my lower back pain has significantly improved, all thanks to the personalized home exercise program Allison designed and regularly updated. The on-site sessions have also played a crucial role in my progress. A special mention to Alex, for ensuring everything runs smoothly. I wholeheartedly recommend Therapidya for their outstanding services and dedicated staff!

Fantastic experience: One of the few physical therapy places in the area that makes it easy to communicate with them via email/online. This made it much easier to get the process started of insurance checks and making an appointment. My first visit was very helpful and calming. My hopes are soaring that this can help me. The staff were delightful, and I didn't feel rushed at all. Will update after a few more appointments.

Positive experience: [Update] High professionalism showcased After my original review, Aaron and Robert (regional manager) reached out to solve the billing issue. They mentioned that it was a problem on the insurance side, and that they were working with them on solving the issue. The insurance reached out today saying that they had had a problem processing the claims. Moreover, Aaron and Robert agreed to solve the billing issue on their side, and to offer me a complementary consultation (which was extremely useful). Even if the original experience was really unfortunate, it is great to see them going above and beyond showing customer care to solve my issues [Original review] Okay patient experience. Horrible billing experience I went to Therapydia to treat an ankle fracture. I had an okay patient experience: full mobility in my ankle now, but still some pain, despite being diligent about my exercises. Arnelle, my therapist, told me that it was normal to still experience some discomfort (even if it has been since January) Billing experience: I got a bill with an outstanding balance that I didn't recognize. I reached out to my insurance provider, and it seems that Therapydia had been getting full payments for all my visits (they were getting paid as if they were in network), despite being "theoretically" out of network. I called Aaron, and he told me that they were trying to fix it, and that they would give me an update soon Almost 2 months later, with no update from their side, I get a reminder of resolving the issue to "keep my account in good standing". I think this is unacceptable, and I have started a complaint with my insurance: getting paid double and, on top of that, asking for a not existing balance...

Fantastic experience: Allison creates programs that are impactful and easy to implement in your daily life. She is able to deftly address your individual injuries and explain the why behind her recommendations. Plus, she's extremely smart, friendly and motivating. She emails you the program and exercises so I was able to share it with my personal trainer and double up on the right skills and exercises. I've enjoyed working with her and would recommend her to my network any day!

Fantastic experience: I had a great first experience at Therapydia! I’ve been struggling with shoulder discomfort and was looking for a friendly, cost efficient, and well sourced physical therapist in the area, when I came upon Therapydia. What first caught my attention was the information available on the website and how they claimed to “not be another” physical therapy office. As any intrigued customer would, I called and was greeted by a very friendly, competent, and helpful administrator, Toya. Toya provided a lot of great insight about the company and even called my insurance provider (Blue Cross Blue Shield) to ensure that my insurance would be accepted before scheduling my initial visit. Toya really is awesome and is one of the reasons that I chose Therapydia. Upon arrival to the Embarcadero Center, where the office is located, parking is available in the underground structure and Therapydia validates parking. Instead of paying $18, I only paid $4. The actual office is upstairs between a hair studio and other business. The office was very clean, inviting, and provided enough privacy that other patrons wouldn’t know what’s happening. I was originally scheduled to meet with Allison, but, I worked with Marcus instead. Marcus was friendly and knowledgeable. I’m looking forward to rehabilitating my shoulder at Therapydia and recommend them for any physical therapy needs.

Fantastic experience: Allison is an excellent physical therapist. She is flexible in choose and adapting exercises that are effective for me. She has a positive outlook and is very supportive. The office is well organized and efficiently run. The main downside is that there is no bathroom inside the business so you need to use the public restroom in the Embarcadero

Fantastic experience: If you want to go pain-free and start enjoying a healthy, active lifestyle again, you need to see Deanna Marinucci at Therapydia. At the time I came into see Deanna nearly 6 month ago, I had chronic knee and foot pain. I was losing hope, thinking that pain was going to be something I had to deal with the rest of my life. I had talked to over 4 doctors and nothing worked. But then came the magic of Deanna's care. Deanna came up with a comprehensive treatment plan for me, so that I could activate the muscles that my body tended to overlook, obtain better alignment, and ultimately be able to walk miles upon miles without pain. I went from walking like a duck to walking straight (just like how our bodies intended). My only regret is not seeing Deanna sooner for treatment. She is an amazing physical therapist who knows how to treat patients effectively and with a great amount of care and kindness. She designs the right treatment plan for your body, and as if by magic, you'll start noticing the improvements within a couple weeks. Under Deanna's treatment, I'm no longer facing a life of chronic pain. I've started more intensive exercise again, and I'm finally feeling like my old self again. The rest of the Therapydia staff are great too. Super nice and helpful, making sure that I have my next appointments set up. Can't say enough good things about the whole team!

My PT Deanna is fantastic - she is great at understanding how different dimensions of my recovery are coming along and customizing my treatment plan accordingly. They also work closely with you to make it as easy as possible for you to file a claim with out of network insurance providers. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: This is my second attempt at physical therapy for a couple of ongoing issues (hip and knee) and my first feeling of success. While I waited more than a month for an appointment with an orthopedist to assess if there was a real injury, I got to work with Deanna and saw results after just a few sessions. (Ortho guy finally confirmed it was a PT issue, not surgical.) I'm super impressed with exercises I was given and the results I attained. It was also helpful when she suggested using my phone to record my doing the exercise, while she coached, to review later. Genius! I whole-heartedly recommend TherapydiaSF from the front desk service to the therapy. Couldn't be more satisfied.

Fantastic experience: Had a neurological and muscular impairment sustained during dialysis treatment . After seeing various specialists I was referred for physical therapy . I picked Therapydia and was ever so glad ! Marianne was my therapist and she recognized the issues cause and effect at once .
