Athletico Physical Therapy - Dayton North

Fantastic experience: I came to Athletico for therapy on my left foot because of long distance walks I was experiencing pain due to a bunion and surgery is not an option at this point. I had a hiking trip planned and wanted to be able to partake in it without pain - and the treatment mapped out by Lydia and Camryn was a complete success! They helped me strengthen the muscles in my foot, ankle and legs and after six weeks of treatment, I was able to hike miles without pain and keep up with my hiking buddy who’s 14 years younger than me. I now have the tools and knowledge to continue therapy on my own and continue being pain free. Thank you Athletico for helping me achieve my goal!

Negative experience: I AM RETIRED ON FIXED INCOME. HURT MY BACK I WAS TOLD TO COME IN 3 TIMES PER WEEK AT $40 PER VISIT $140 A WEEK??? WENT TWICE IN 2 WEEKS DID RECOMMENDED STRETCHES AND PAIN WENT AWAY. GOT IMPRESSION THEY WERE NOT HAPPY AND SCOTT MY THERAPST MADY SLY COMMENTS ABOUT MY EATING HABBITS THEN WALKED AWAY . WILL NOT BE GOING BACK

Fantastic experience: I’ll be honest I was a little skeptical of the place at first, bust upon arriving and working with “Dillon” I knew he had extensive knowledge of medical recovery after a few moments. He’s proven that with his plan and program. I’d rate it 11/10. They have me ahead of schedule and constantly inching/progressing forward. I would never go to another sports rehab place, on this continent at least.

Fantastic experience: From day one to the conclusion of my therapy sessions these people were absolutely terrific. What they did for me was incredible. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for first rate therapy.

Fantastic experience: I really can't say enough about what a great experience I had during my 4-1/2 months of PT. The staff at this Athletico are professional and "know their stuff" yet they approach each patient with warmth, kindness and a genuine sense of care and concern. It all starts with being greeted by Cassidy at the front desk. She always had a smile and seemed to know my name almost immediately after I started there. I was also fortunate enough to work with Lydia, Nate and Jill, but my primary person was Camryn. She was the perfect PT for me, and I credit her with helping me get my life back. She is a great listener, intuitive, knowledgeable, kind and caring, with a terrific sense of humor and upbeat attitude. She knew when it was time to "up my challenges" and her instincts were always spot-on. I also had the pleasure of being assisted with my exercises by Savannah and Ashley (2 impressive young ladies who were both encouraging & engaging to be with) as well as Dylan and Molly who have graduated and moved on. All-in-all one of the BEST things that came out of a difficult and traumatic ankle fracture. If you decide to go to this location for your PT needs, you will not regret your decision. Thanks guys - it was truly a privilege to be your patient!

She addresses my problems head on and always seems to have a smile on her face no matter what I seem to throw her way!

Fantastic experience: I just experienced my first visit to Athletico. It was an excellent facility where everyone was friendly and helpful. I was thankful that Camryn took a minute out of her day to greet me and make me feel a little more at ease about starting therapy. She introduced me to the therapist I would be working with and made me feel very comfortable that I had made the right choice with Athletico.

Fantastic experience: Lydia is the best PT in the whole world! The entire staff at Athletico Englewood is kind, caring and professional. Lydia was able to help me meet AND exceed my goals within 2 less sessions than originally projected. Jill and Lydia also dry needle at this location, ask for one of them if this is what you need, both very skilled and professional therapists.

I went over everything that hurt and he was there to go over everything we were going to do to make it feel better. He was right I walked out feeling so much better. Thanks to him and the team

Fantastic experience: Athletico exceeded my expectations. The staff was skilled and friendly. They were respectful of my time as they handled my appointments promptly. It was very helpful that a text reminder was sent the day before my appointment. Most importantly, my issues were addressed and I feel 90% better. I was given exercises and exercise bands to get me the other 10%.

Fantastic experience: I've had back pain for about four years and my doctor finally recommended physical therapy. I'm so grateful to have found Athletico because everyone there has been amazing. I love that each session starts with heat and a massage to relax the muscles - it also gives you something to look forward to, even though you know you're going to be working hard afterwards My back is improving, and Sam never gives up finding solutions when something isn't working for me. Everyone working there makes it a relaxing, supportive, fun environment to be in, which goes a long way when you're not at your best. I will definitely recommend Athletico to anyone who needs PT.

Fantastic experience: Great experience with Dillon Huegen, I began with sciatica and lots of pain. Mid treatment a shoulder issue arose. In both cases Dillon was thorough, knowledgeable and communicated well how treatment and exercise worked together to heal and strengthen. As a senior I thought my issues might be around to stay but they resolved very well. I have nothing but good things to say about Dillon and the assistants I worked with. Thanks for getting me back to my golf game!

Fantastic experience: After several sessions at this outstanding PT Center, I had to take a moment & express my gratitude for my primary Therapist- Sam. He structured programs that improved my strength, balance & confidence. He would open up discussions on my limitations & pain, then would listen to my responses & adjust my program as needed. Fantastic experience: My PT is Lydia and is hands down the best! I have been going to Athletico for almost 2 years. I have dealt with knee issues since I was 14...so for 30 years. I had to have my knee cap removed 2/2022. Just about every setback you can think of I had. However the team at Athletico did not give up. Through dry needling, cupping, stretches, etc...I have exceeded expectations of my orthopedic!

Fantastic experience: The staff is both knowledgeable and friendly. Sam Reinmann, my therapist, demonstrates a font of experience and expertise that helps me relax and trust in the therapy. The progress I have accomplished thus far and future progress I hope to make is enhanced through his diligent and patient work ethic. He has the ability to read people (body language, facial expressions) that allows him to hone in on correct therapies for my condition.

Fantastic experience: I have been here twice for different mobility issues and highly recommend it. Sam is the therapist I typically request, he explains the actual mechanics of how your body is working and it helped me to understand which muscles I needed to use and when. All of the staff is personable and knowledgeable. Scheduling (Marissa)was always easy and done in advance. Highly recommend this place! Top notch in therapy!...and I have been to a lot of places!

Fantastic experience: Camryn and Lydia were the two therapists that mostly worked with me. Both of them were extremely helpful during my recovery. I had a total hip replacement done at the end of January and needed therapy for about 6-7 weeks. During my visits everyone there was friendly and helpful including Jill, Lizy, and Luke. They would talk with me about life during my exercises which help make the time there pleasant and go by fast. They care about how I was progressing adding new exercises when needed and backing off if any were too difficult for me. Scheduling appointments was easy and they were able to work around my work schedule. Camryn and Lydia are knowledgeable and educated me on the benefits of the exercises. The team there works together well and has created a fun and friendly environment there. I highly recommend this location. Thank you Camryn, Lydia, Luke, Lizy, and Jill.

Fantastic experience: When I walked into Athletico, my mindset was that I was going to need bi-lateral shoulder surgeries. I couldn't do everyday things without pain and stiffness. Like putting on a sweatshirt, combing and washing my hair, pulling the chain to an overhead light. After 7 weeks of bi-weekly visits and home exercises, I'm back to my normal routine. I even took down a fence and pulled up the fence posts in my yard! The staff is very personable and helpful and my therapist, Sam, knew just he needed to do to make me better. Fantastic experience: This place is fantastic! When I needed therapy for my knee, I was recommended to Athletico. I had previously used MVN and had okay therapy. I didn't realize that the therapy there was rushed and subpar until I came to Athletico. Sam does a fantastic job tending to all my issues and is very knowledgeable. I don't feel rushed at all and I feel like I matter. This place deserves more than 5 stars!

Fantastic experience: When I hurt my shoulder and could hardly use my arm I needed a physical therapy appointment right away. Some places I called could not see me for weeks. At Athletico I was scheduled to see a therapist in two days. Assessment and therapy were thorough and gentle. Sam, Brittany, and assistants worked with me twice a week for several weeks. Everyone worked together and had such good attitudes it was a pleasure for me to go to my sessions. And I can use my arm again.

Fantastic experience: I had a terrific experience when I was in physical therapy at Athletico in north Dayton. I had shoulder surgery (two tears) and went there for my rehabilitation. Sam was my main therapist. I had been hesitant going into therapy anywhere but I researched the internet and chose Athletico. I’m so glad that I did! I was afraid that being a senior perhaps I wouldn’t be given the best therapy or attention. Was I wrong about that! They care about every person that’s there! I’m super pleased with my end results. Sam was awesome to work with. The entire staff is kind, compassionate and professional! If I need therapy in the future, it’s the ONLY place I will consider!

Friendly but professional staff. They did an outstanding job of rectifying my issues. Fantastic experience: I would just like to say that Athletico is one of my best experiences i have had with physical therapy. Stacey my therapist made a believer out of me. When my doctor recommend PT for scar tissue because of Plantar Fascia Release surgery i really didn't think it would help. Stacy made my foot feel better in a matter of 2 weeks. She explained everything that we were doing and answered all of my questions regarding my foot. She massage the scar tissue and incorporated exercise to the point I barely have any pain. I really think if i started physical therapy here before surgery i wouldn't have had to have the surgery. The atmosphere and therapist are super friendly. Fantastic experience: Excellent PT from Justin. Badly injured hamstring and was able to get back to running within 8-9 weeks (not bad for 63 year-old muscles). Highly recommended.

I was in pain and on meds for back issues & these folks really helped me find relief and understand how to strengthen and support my back naturally. Today...no pain & no meds. Fantastic experience: Today was my first visit to Athletico to start my therapy after having total knee replacement. They got more involved in working on a plan starting today. I had always gone to the same place for therapy for years which was across the street. They didn't seem to be as motivated across the street. I have to say I was so impressed! I was nervous, but I usually am with something new. Stacey was great she told me everything we were doing making me feel so comfortable. It didn't take anytime at all and I felt very comfortable with Stacey and the other people there were so friendly also. The other place I went to the workers wouldn't even look at you. I am so glad I decided to go with Athletico I can't wait to work more with Stacey and build up my strength and get stronger. I'm ready to go with this Amazing Team!!

Fantastic experience: Athletico is smaller & friendlier than the large hospital/surgery based places. I am a person here with a name. I have worked & continue to work primarily with Justin along with Jill. Both are terrific physical therapists with remarkable skill level & insight. They formed & executed plans to literally get me back on my feet. I'm on my second round of PT now due to rotator cuff tear. The PT care & results remain amazing....
